Silver Ace vs. Abattoir

Good reflexes were a critical part of fighting well, whether it was something as simple as checking a leg kick or as complex a move as a total momentum redirect like Abattoir had just done. Either way, she was feeling very pleased with herself; having ejected her painted nemesis over the top rope, she had a chance to go down to the floor, where it was generally acknowledged she did her best work. Not a hardcore match, sadly, but that didn't mean there wasn't a chance for a little fun...

Unfortunately, she was putting the cart before the horse. Ace was not nearly as 'out of the ring' as Abattoir had assumed, and before the nak muay could turn to follow her opponent, a forearm smashed right into her spine, sending a shock of pain from her neck down to her hips. With a 'rrgh!', the mysterious striker bent double, holding onto the middle rope to keep herself upright in the wake of the attack.

"Sorry, not going to be that easy!"

Grabbing Abattoir by her hair, Ace pulled her back to fully standing, grabbing hold under her arm as well, trying to pull/drag the girl over the top rope, and, if she could manage it, throw her onto the floor below!

Stunned as she was, Abattoir was easy to hoist back up, and once Ace got an underhook she was equally easy to bundle over the top rope in a heap. She had plenty of ring awareness, though, and the presence of mind to realize what was happening well before the point of impact.

The nak muay did a full rotation on the way down, flipping head over heels, and landed more or less on her knees, then sprawled forward and caught herself on her left arm. A twinge of pain shot through it - that was why she'd picked her jabbing hand, instead of the one that threw the bombs, just in case it got damaged - but Abattoir was not nearly as stunned or incapacitated as she looked. Instead, fully lucid, she stayed on her hands and knees next to the guardrail and feigned being dazed by Ace's attack.

All she had to do was wait for her opponent to press the offensive...

Ace smirked the former Entropy Champion raising her arm up in the air, signaling for what could only be some kind of big apron dive, meant to excite her new-found fan base.

Backing up to near the turnbuckle, Ace ran forward, charging across the ring apron and leaping off near the last moment, spreading her arm, aiming to smash her body against Abbatoirs with a flying body splash!

Even if Abattoir wasn't furtively glancing up, the swell of the crowd's cheers for their as-of-late hero let her know exactly what was coming. There was only one thing that kind of noise heralded, and by the time Ace had braced herself and started running, Abattoir was already leaping up to her feet, conscious and very much on point.

There was no dodging involved. With blinding speed, she sprang left towards the guardrail, kicked off it in midair, and flew towards Ace with a flying knee, muay thai style. The crowd, already excited, let out a fresh roar in the half-second they had, and cameras flashed all over the arena as the two launched towards each other in midair.

Ace never saw the knee coming, nearly reaching her opponent before Abattoir pulled off her attack, her knee crashing into the side of Ace's head, jerking her body around before it smacked hard onto the ground, leaving her dazed and groaning, her head throbbing as she curled up outside the ring, her entire body hurting after that knee and landing hard on the floor.

There was a thump of impact as they collided in midair, and Abattoir was treated to the very satisfying sight of Ace spinning around from the knee strike and landing hard. Her knee throbbed a little from the strike (although, she was willing to bet, not nearly as much as her opponent's face right now) and so she took her time, stalking across the outside mats and waiting for Ace to show some signs of life.

When at last the other girl started to work her way up, Abattoir stepped in and helped her, dragging her upright by an arm. Spinning them around, she shoved Ace back towards the guardrail, trying to get her back against its surface and cut off any escape routes. There wasn't a lot of urgency in it - Abattoir preferred to take her time with this kind of thing.

Ace remained in a confused dazed, gripping the ring apron to try and get back to her feet, stumbling and falling before trying again, still dazed, vision blurry, as her head throbbed.

Defenseless, Ace was thrown into the metal guardrail, hitting it hard enough to scoot it back a little, the silver haired girl holding onto the rail to keep her balance as she tried to clear her head in time.

With her 'shooting gallery' all set up, Abattoir measured her range and came in swinging. Light punches peppered Ace from all sides as she held onto the guardrail, ones that weren't really aimed to do serious damage so much as disorient and set up for a big strike.

It came shortly afterwards, though - pulling back from a short hook, Abattoir twisted at the waist and threw a huge roundhouse with one of those razor-sharp elbows, aimed straight at her opponent's chin. Having set it up, she committed hard, throwing all of her weight behind it.

As if the situation wasn't bad enough, then came a flurry of punches, which, while not very powerful, came to fast and numerous for Ace to properly defend herself from, all followed up by a hard elbow, crashing into Ace's chin, throwing her head head to the side, her body following as she dropped to all fours, panting and rubbing her lower jaw, making sure she hadn't broken any teeth or bit her tongue after the hit.

With Ace down, the crowd turned to booing Abattoir, while the ref girl just continued the ring out count she had started, reaching the count of three.
