Lightning Tournament Semifinals: Akiha Kosha Vs. Gabbie Desjardin

Akiha started to roll, using her arms to help herself and it paid off. Gabbie was sent off her back and her leg was free. Her leg was still hurting, but it felt so good not to feel the pressure being applied to it anymore. The raven hair wrestler would push off the wrestling mat and start to get up only to then be sent back down to her side as she was kicked again by Gabbie.

Crap, despite breaking the hold, Gabbie wasn't going to give Akiha a chance to recover. Not wanting to let her Canadian opponent keep dominating her, Akiha would attempt to roll towards the ropes, trying to put some distance between herself and her blond opponent.

Gabbie smirked as Akiha rolled away. She didn't like to show too much emotion during a fight if she could help it, but the irony here was just too much. Akiha had Gabbie in the same position not too long ago and it hadn't turned out very well for the Canadian.

She knew she had a lot to learn about wrestling, but Akiha had already taught her something and she was hoping to put that lesson to good use as she ran at Akiha and did a baseball slid to the Japanese girl's sides, looking to punt her right out of the ring as she had done to Gabbie.

Akiha was now putting some distance between herself and Gabbie by rolling on the ground.  Yet the blond Canadian was quick on her tail and gave the Japanese wrestler a taste of her own medicine as Akiha was kicked on her side as Gabbie did a sliding kick that the raven hair wrestler had performed not too long ago.  The Japanese raven hair wrestler would be sent rolling and tumbled out of the ring before falling to the ground.  She would now groan due to all the pain she was in, the kick she had received did hurt, but it was nothing compared to the fall she had taken.  The Japanese wrestler would now try to roll on her chest before trying to push herself up, that was if her Canadian counterpart didn't follow and start attacking her.

This time Gabbie knew better than to try and let Akiha catch a breather. If she wanted to put the Japanese girl away, she had to be more relentless. She wasn't going to go out of bounds, but pressing her advantage was what she needed to do.

Gabbie slipped out of the ring and hopped down next to Akiha. She then grabbed the dark haired girl by the head and tried to pull her up to a hunched over position so Gabbie could bury her knee deeply into Akiha's gut.

Akiha panted as she was down on the ground before rolling on her stomach.  She could hear the crowd cheering for Gabbie now, wanting the Canadian wrestler to put away the Japanese heel.  Akiha then felt her head being grabbed and was starting to get pulled back up and just as she was hunched over she would attempt to hit Gabbie with an uppercut right in between the legs.  Since they were right beside the ringside, the referee vision was a bit limited, meaning she could probably get away with such a dirty attack.

Gabbie's eyes crossed when she felt the heavy fist plow her between the legs. Her mouth opened, forming a perfect O but no sound came out. Her hand slipped off of Akiha's head, her fingers running briefly through the silky black hair before she collapsed onto the mats outside of the ring.

"Annghhuuuhh..."

She moaned in pain as her pink gloves fit themselves between her legs and rubbed at her now tender crotch. Gabbie had been suspicious of Akiha, but in their match so far, she'd had no reason to believe the girl was crooked. Now, as she tried to easy away the pain in her crotch, she knee the girl was as bent as a coat hanger.

"...Dirty... bitch..."

Akiha had struck gold with her attack and since they were just outside the ring, the referee had not spotted the attack, but she was counting the two of them out, thus the raven hair wrestler would need to work quickly.  She could see Gabbie now holding her private as her face gave an expression of pain before moaning in pain.  

The crowd was booing, mad at seeing such a dirty tactic being used and Gabbie seemed to agree by calling Akiha a dirty bitch.  Akiha hated it when people resorted to name calling.  Sure she had used a dirty tactic but that was part of wrestling, it had been done time and time before.  If they really wanted to stop it, they would use instant replays.  But calling someone a bitch when no one else could hear didn't help, in both the sense of fighting or business wise.

The Japanese wrestler would now attempt to place Gabbie head under her arm, trying to set up a DDT.  If she was successful, she would learn back and attempting to slam her Canadian opponent head into the ground with a DDT.

Gabbie was pulled up and her head nestled against Akiha's side. Her hands pushed gently into the Japanese girl's stomach and hip, but she wasn't quite ready to begin a real fight back as her legs still bowed together.

Unfortunately, she wouldn't have long to think about her next move as her head was sickly slammed into the thin mats below. She dropped limply after one jolt of her body after impact.

Akiha had managed to lock in Gabbie's head while feeling her opponent arms lightly pushing against her though not enough to make any difference.  The raven hair wrestler then fell back, taking her blond Canadian opponent with her and slamming her head on the ground, causing Gabbie to go limp.

The Japanese wrestler would now get off the ground while the referee was still counting the two out and if Akiha didn't move fast, she would find herself losing the match with Gabbie.  She now had two choices, she could either throw her opponent back into the ring and hit her with another move or two before pinning her or simply leave her where she was and let the referee count her out.  

Not wanting to give Gabbie a chance to recover, Akiha decided to bend down and attempt to grab Gabbie hair and clothing.  If successful she would try to throw her opponent back into the ring before sliding in after her which would stop the referee from continuing her count.

Gabbie groaned when she felt Akiha pick her up. She was not unconscious, but she moved just enough so that the Japanese girl wasn't lifted dead weight as she was shoved back into the ring. The Canadian flopped onto her back, pulling one hand up and pressing it against her forehead trying to ease the throbbing and protect her eyes from the bright arena lights. She knew her position was bad, but she was thankful that she hadn't been left outside the ring.
