The New Guy meets SEME!

Shido was glad that things had gone as he planned and he wasn't all that shocked at the reversal by Ryuu. Despite his display, Shido's previous maneuver was actually quite simple. And it was met with the huge guy resting the entirety of his weight on his chest! And on his elbow, no less!

Shido gasped in pain as he struggled to bear Ryuu's weight. Though he was under the impression that the big guy wasn't taking this as seriously as he was. And offering banter wouldn't help, as the guy was stone faced, even while in an advantageous position. Shido grabbed Ryuu's huge arm by the wrist and quickly moved it to the side so he could roll backwards, onto his feet and create some separation between the two of them. If this worked, he'd take a stance with his arms in front of him and his feet firmly planted, readying himself for another exchange!

Shido was definitely in pain as he struggled to cope with Ryuu's weight bearing down on him. There was no cheeky comment like Hikaru had reported or like he'd made with Mitsuru. Interesting. And what's more, Shido managed to get himself out from underneath him.

Ryuu got back up to his feet slowly, he was taking everything slowly this match. By now Shido was likely anticipating that Ryuu was always this slow to maneuver. He planned to make use of that fatal assumption later as well. Now on his feet, Ryuu matched Shido's pose and raised his own arms. He came forward again but knew Shido was smarter than to accept a lock-up if he offered one, so he went for a wide backhanded chop instead.

Shido began to hop in place a bit, hoping to be able to react quickly to what his opponent's next move was, as it seemed that Ryuu was willing to take the initiative.

As the Ryu threw the chop, Shido would trip to duck it and move in close, yet again. A chop of that magnitude would surely send him reeling, so dodging it was definitely on his priority list. If successful at getting past Ryuu's reach, Shido would aim a jumping knee into Ryuu's abdomen, hoping to make him double over!

Shido sidestepped Ryuu's swinging chop and used the opening to dart in closer. He jumped up and thrust his knee towards Ryuu's abdomen, but he was ready for this counter. Shido's knee impacted Ryuu's abs like planned and made him grunt, but his arms came up and caught the guy as well. One hand under Shido's attacking knee and one under the opposite armpit allowed Ryuu to pick Shido up and hold him out horizontally in the air.

Ryuu took two steps forward and raised Shido in the air and then sent him crashing down as he stomped his foot and went down on one knee, delivering Shido onto it for a devastating backbreaker.

Shido would grunt, trying to break free as Ryuu countered his knee by grabbing hold of him! "Uh....so I know I asked her already, but do you think we could talk about this?" he joked, realizing that he was trapped at the moment.

With a quick yelp, the kid would be hoisted into the air and brought down harshly, spine first, for a devastating backbreaker from Ryuu! As big a blow as this was, it wasn't foreign to Shido. He would fight through this pain, still stuck on Ryuu's knee and deliver a swift kick to his temple, rolling away and free from him of it connected and stunned him!

Shido's back slammed down onto Ryuu's knee and he knew that it had done it's job. He did not expect Shido to be able to react so soon, and his kick landed with a loud smack across the side of Ryuu's head. It turned his face slightly to the side and he seemed surprised, but visible pain was not anywhere to be seen.

It gave Shido the time he needed to roll himself off of Ryuu's knee, but after that Ryuu was right on his trail. He swung his leg out to kick at Shido's back like you might a soccer ball.

Shido hid his pain as best he could for now, as he didn't want to give the two members of SEME a target to aim at. He'd manage to escape further damage to his back from that vicious backbreaker but he saw Ryuu moving in to follow up, and fast!

Shido placed his hands in front on him in reaction to the kick and grunted as he aimed to catch the brunt of his and gain possession of Ryuu's leg in the process! If this worked, Shido would slide his hands down the big guy's foot and begin to wrap his arms around it for an ankle lock!

Ryuu's leg whooshed through the air and slammed into Shido, though it was into his chest rather than the back like he had planned. All this told Ryuu was that he wasn't being rough enough with him yet if the guy was still that lively. Shido slid his arms down and started to entangle himself for some hold, but Ryuu wasn't patient enough to see what it was.

He bent down and grabbed a fistful of Shido's hair and yanked upwards so that he could reach beneath one of his armpits. Ryuu grabbed at Shido's arm and tugged again to try hauling the guy to his feet and sling him to the side.

"Ow ow ow ow ow" Shido reacted as his hair was pulled and he was yanked up off the ground forcefully. He was tossed to the side, unable to come up with a counter due to the sudden pain. He reached around and tried to grab the ropes while holding his head to center himself and assess his location within the ring. He didn't realize which direction he was thrown in and he wouldn't want to be trapped in the opposing team's corner.

Ryuu sighed softly as he completed his move. Hair pulling wasn't exactly something he liked, but there really wasn't a better option to grab your opponent with. He rushed after Shido while he was still climbing the ropes, sliding his arms round Shido's waist and carrying him along the further few steps and slammed him into the cornerpost with all 195lbs of himself.

To make matters worse, he grabs the back of Shido's head and attempts to slam him facefirst into the cornerpost repeatedly.
