Adrian Kytes vs Mystery Opponent number 456 (Tai)

Adrian practically flew out of Grizzly's grip, rolling across the floor as the crowd booed her, thinking that Adrian had gone back to her old tricks and deliberately poked the former champ in the eye to escape the Grizzly Bear Hug. "H-hey! This time it was an accident! Honest!" She protested as the referee scolded her. Well, so much for the goodwill she'd earned over the last few months.

Sighing as the referee moved out of the way to get the match to continue and shaking off the effects of getting crushed, Adrian took a running start at Yamamoto, trying not to be swatted down by her flailing arms Adrian jumped up, putting her left foot on her hip as she swung her whole body around, trying to catch Grizzly in the head with a step-up enziguri.

Adrian was right. It was an accident, but Garm was hardly in any position right now to correct anything, rubbing her eye, blurry as it teared up in natural response.

Unable to see clearly, Grizzly could only hear the sound of Adrian running towards her, swinging her arm wide to try and catch Adrian mid-move, and only knowing she failed when she, and the rest of the crowd, heard a loud "SMACK" noise, the flat of Adrian's boot smacking right into the side of Grizzly's head, dropping her onto her front, adding yet another painful throb to a head already full of painful throbs, several in the crowd letting out loud cheers, thinking the Grizzly might have been knocked out!

Adrian dropped straight to the floor as her boot made a resounding smack into Grizzly's skull, the joshi heavyweight toppling to the ground not soon after, seemingly out of it as she lay down face first. Result!

Crawling over to the big woman, Adrian tried her best to just roll her over onto her back before she hooked the leg, pinning Grizzly to the mat and letting the ref get in position to count it out. "One!"

That kick got Grizzly right in the head, shaking around all of her thinky thinky parts as she fell over, not even noticing she was being pinned until the referee slapped the mat a second time, loudly yelling out:

"Two!"


Realizing she was about to be pinned, Grizzly shot her arm up, getting her shoulder off the mat just enough to break the pin!

"Two." Adrian repeated as she was pushed up into the air slightly and the count stopped, the veteran had just managed to get the shoulder up, "Okay then..." she said, rolling off and walking towards the corner. The big woman still looked to be somewhat out of it, and if that was what one good shot to the head did, imagine what a second would do.

Grabbing the top rope firmly, Adrian lifted her right leg into the air only to stomp it down to the mat, letting the sound ring out across the arena as she started to create her own rhythm, trying to rouse the Wrestle Angel into standing back up just so she could kick her head clean off with a Fus Ro Dah.

Ugh. Head hurting. Eye blurry. Brain throbbing. Things were not looking all that great for the veteran. And what the hell was that damn knocking noise!?

Finally, she forced her way back up to her feet, staggering and swinging her arms wildly as she looked for Adrian, roaring out a battle cry as she tried to find her, and the source of that incessant stomping!

And then it clicked.


Knocking. Stomping. Stomping on the mat. Warming up the band.

Superkick.

Adrian had to be setting up for a superkick, there was a former Angel that did the same thing, which meant she had to be...

Mother...Fucker...

Grizzly turned around in a half blind panic, just in time to catch Adrian's full powered Fus Ro Dah right to her jaw, dropping the big beast flat onto her back!

Adrian didn't show it but she was panicking when Grizzly got off the mat roaring like a wounded animal ready to exact her revenge, it was just lucky for her that the Japanese veteran only found out which way the Hardcore champion was coming from when she had already thrown up the boot, determined to catch Grizzly somewhere on the head, she was just fortunate that Yamamoto turned straight into it.

The former cosplayer spun around as the heavyweight started to drop, falling almost as fast to get body on body for a pinfall before Grizzly's shoulders hit the ground, scrambling to hook the leg as the veteran impacted with the mat.

Grizzly could only groan, her head bombarded with painful throbbing all the way around, barely feeling her leg getting hooked, though she did hear the count.

"One!


"Two!"


Just after two, Grizzly gathered her power and kicked her legs out, powering out of the hold before-

"THREE!

Ah...Shit...

With her "big kickout" being nothing more than a momentary twitch of her legs, the ref finished the count. The big beast had been pinned!

"Three!" The referee called to a round of applause as Adrian rolled off Grizzly, raising a fist in victory. She'd just taken down one of the biggest names in women's wrestling for the last 20 years with speed and technique. The hardcore champion was still sore as she stood up, the adrenaline rush of the match fading away to let the pain seep through, but this was probably the first match in a while that wasn't going to end up with her in hospital win or lose.

"Give me my belt!" The brunette puffed out, sitting down on the mat as she basked in the glory... shuffling out of the way of Grizzly first. She didn't know that much about what the joshi vet was like, but she probably didn't want Adrian posing over her. No need to antagonize the sleeping bear woman

It took several minutes, but the various pains in Grizzly's head and jaw finally numbed up enough to where she could get up to her feet, still wobbly, Adrian's music blaring, the crowd cheering and chanting her name.

Panting, Grizzly made her way to where Adrian was sitting, looking down at her...before holding her hand out to her, with a respectful gesture.

"Hey...that was a damn good fight!"
