Sparring in Starlight

Kyoko sighed in relief as she felt the pressure on her arm relent and she began making her decent back up. She was a little angry that she allowed herself to be put in such a precarious position but nonetheless strived to continue and put Tabith back down.

However Tabitha charged forward and went for the low kick as she met her in the middle. Not eager to fall again she jumped backward until her back hit the rope and sprang off, looking to take he opponent down with a spinning heel kick.

Tabitha would get Kyoko in motion. It would have worked out better if she simply tried to check the kick, but the result was not a bad one. She didn't take a shot back just yet. Kyoko would fly back off the ropes and Tabitha knew something was up. When she came back off the ropes, Kyoko would launch herself at Tabitha.

Tabitha tried to hit the deck so that Kyoko would fly right over top of her and rebound again off the ropes. While she was on her way back this time, Tabitha had tried to use a simple hip toss to get Kyoko down to the ground again.

Kyoko moved in quick but Tabitha proved to be quicker. As she spun to connect her kick the rookie showed more levels of competence by ducking under her. Kyoko came back down on her footand hit he ropes but grabbed them to avoid bouncing off again, which proved to be the right call as Tabith looked ready for if she did so.

No longer seeking to fight her on her grounds Kyoko charged forward with a spear to try and take them both down to the mat, where Tabitha would have to wrestle some more if it connected.

Tabitha seemed to be adapting, Kyoko was needing to do something on her own, and Tabitha telegraphed her move a little too early. Kyoko was able to simply grab onto the ropes when Tabitha moved into position to toss Kyoko to the ground. Getting caught flat footed as it were, Tabitha would get caught like a deer in the headlights as Kyoko now was heading right for her. Tabitha would get speared straight to the mat as Kyoko drove herself right through and slammed her down.

Tabitha would wince in pain as the air one again rushed out of her lungs. The already existing welts from before not exactly making things feel any better. "Aaauugh!" Was about all Tabitha could manage as she would react to being dumped on the mat again. Kyoko had a decided advantage now as she could follow up before Tabitha would recover.

Feeling her shoulder connect hit its mark brought a smile to her face as the two hit the floor. Tabitha was completely winded and Kyoko decided to set up another favorite of hers. Kyoko brought her hand up and drove two punches into Tabitha's belly to keep her winded as she lifted up her upper body into a siting position.

"Another important lesson, once youve made a weak spot, you take control of it any way you can." A pretty obvious lesson but important nonetheless. Kyoko contined by taking her legs and wrapping them around her battered waist to lock in a scissor hold. Looking to see how Tabitha would respond to her new situation.

Tabitha was getting another painful lesson. This time she would learn that once you work out a weak spot on an opponent, exploit it. Kyoko was using Tabitha as an example as she had previously speared her into the mat and now would follow through by punching her a few times and locking in a scissor hold. Tabitha had Kyoko right behind her and her legs wrapped around her waist.

The hold was excruciatingly painful, and it was restricting Tabitha's ability to breathe as well. The hold itself was tight, but Tabitha saw a few ways that she might be able to get herself out. The first would be to simply try to escape by trying to unlock Kyoko's ankles and separate her legs. If that did not work, getting to the ropes was almost impossible since they were almost exactly in the center of the ring. Tabitha would have to take a page out of Kyoko's book with how she got out of the armbar and simply start hammering away on Kyoko's legs.

Being able to at least think of a few things, Tabitha would try her best to not succumb to the constant pain while she worked to get herself free of the scissor hold.

"Not the best situation to be in." Kyoko said as she tightened the hold. It was th most logical place to attack given Tabitha's bruises and now it was time to get her through something you can't teach, adversity. She fought her best, first pryin agains ther legs while trying to blot out the pain that was surrounding her, but when that failed to work she began to start hitting a her legs to weaken.

Kyoko let out a grunt as she brought her fists down and wailed on her legs but she refused to realese here, although it was as hard as before, Kyoko instead came up and reached for Tabitha's arms in attempt to stop her impending escape, while this brouh her closer in for an attack, if she succeeded in subduing her, she's have Tabitha in bad position.

Kyoko would state the obvious to Tabitha. Though it was still a valid point, it did little to ease the pain that she was enduring. Kyoko was letting up on the hold a little in an attempt to get Tabitha's arms under control as well. If Kyoko could get Tabitha's arms, then she would certainly have to submit again to Kyoko.

Not wanting to lose a second time, Tabitha would do a good enough job of trying to keep Kyoko from getting hold of her arms until she could figure out where Kyoko's head was and attempt a desperation elbow strike at it.

If Tabitha could stun Kyoko with an elbow, then it was almost certain she would get free. Were she to fail, the Kyoko would have control over her whole body again and there would be little option but to decide if she wanted to pass out again or save the torture of her body and just submit right then and there as there was no escape from the hold were the elbow to miss.

Getting her arms proved to be more then Kyoko bargained for. Tabitha struggled and resisted and Kyoko had to pull herself up further to try and get her hands on her, this proved to be a mistake as Tabitha sent a surprising elbow that struck her face, hitting her just beside her nose.

"Aaauugh" Kyoko fell backwards and brought her hands to her nose to try and comfort the pain, however ha he failed to notice that the pressure she had on Tabitha's waist went down significantly, and it would be very easy for her to escape in the next few seconds.

Tabitha was able to catch Kyoko with the elbow. This would cause Kyoko to recoil backward and made separating her legs fairly easy now. With her opportunity to escape staring her right in the face, Tabitha would unhook Kyoko's ankles and burst out of the scissor hold. Getting herself to the ropes and propping herself up, Tabitha would take a breather as she could barely breathe while being in the hold she was just in. Kyoko being under no duress herself was free to get back to her feet as well if she so desired.
