Josey Wales vs. Mari Fuuma

The sound of Josey's kick slamming against Mari's face was music to Josey's ears. It wasn't quite as painful as having one's head smashed against a car or through a window but it still hurt, but more importantly it hurt Mari instead of her. Furthermore, it gave the Outlaw precious time and space in which she could get up and try to get back in this match. Josey shot up and although she wavered on her two feet she remained standing.

There was no smart aleck shit to be said, no taunts to throw out, no insults to try and wound the other emotionally. This had always been a brawl, a totally unrestrained melee in which anything could happen and anyone could win. Josey's upkick bought her some good things, but Mari would not let her get away with it completely. She came roaring back with a punch, but Josey was quick. She brought her hands up to block it.

The blow sent her backwards, but not down. Josey's strong arms were aching as she lunged forwards towards Mari with a punch of her own, her blood coming off of her in droplets of red.

Mari's fist hit Josey, though it wasn't in the way that she wanted as most of the hit was blocked by her hands. Stumbling a bit after her own blow, Mari had to lean on the car for support and prevent herself from falling over on to her face. Save herself the humiliation as she watched as Josey came back at her, roaring back with a massive punch of her own. Bringing up her arms, Mari managed to block the blow, strong enough to send her stumbling backwards she was lucky that she stopped most of the impact from not hitting her face.

Her arms were stinging it made it difficult for Mari to form a fist, but it wasn't enough for Mari to stop as she took a few steps forward. There was no backing down for the bloodied silver head as she roared back at Josey, bringing up her arm to deliver a vicious forearm smash. It may not have the same impact as a fist, but Mari wasn't too picky at the moment with her arm stinging enough to where she couldn't form a fist.

A stiff forearm would do for her tastes. Which she wanted more of Josey's blood on her hands.

Josey had her legs wide and her center of gravity low. She thought she was ready for anything. In most brawls, only a vague sense of what to do and when to do it were required to win the fight when coupled with an ungodly amount of strength. In a thousand tries Josey had learned all of them, or so she felt. When she launched the blow, she knew there would be some reprisal. The Outlaw's punch did not quite land as she wished it to but Josey was happy to pull back in time.

But Mari was attacking from an angle she did not expect. The forearm strike was not as hard or fast as a punch, but it took Josey completely by surprise, and the cowgirl was clubbed on the head. The cameras would show that Josey didn't look like she was trying to maintain her balance, but she did. Very very hard. It was just that the momentum of the blow caused the stout cowgirl to topple over down to the concrete floor of the garage.

Smashing her forearm into Josey's face, Mari herself nearly toppled over on to the concrete but managed to find her footing through her stumbling. Now the both of them were throwing as hard of blows as they could muster, in order to force the other to fall. Maybe it was a sense of pride that neither woman would choose to fall before the other, maybe it was a sense of survival that they didn't want to give the other a greater chance to inflict harm, or maybe it was because both of them were really really stubborn.

Watching her opponent intently, Mari was about to throw another forearm to finally force Josey to the mat, but she saw that it was not necessary as Josey soon fell to the floor. Gasping and panting as she hunched over, wiping the blood out of her eye yet again, Mari knew that this was her chance to end the match. Looking over to the car, Mari reached down to grab a handful of Josey's hair and with strained effort, attempted to pull her up to at least dragging lengths.

Moving over to the car, Mari was going to attempt to shove Josey's head between her legs and hunched over to wrap her arms around Josey's waist. What normally took Mari seconds to lock in, she was stumbling and fumbling to try and lock in Josey, her blood dripping down on to Josey's back as she looked to finish her Texan opponent right then and there.

Josey tried to gather herself. Her hand just wouldn't grip on the floor and it dawned on her why that was the case. All the blood was causing her to lose any handle she had on the floor. She hadn't worked in the sun for a long time, and her skin was whiter. But at that moment Josey was as white as a ghost. She was tried, beaten, angry. The Outlaw wanted a few shots of whiskey and her harmonica back.

But that wasn't to be. Mari had grabbed her blonde hair and was now using that to pick Josey from the ground. Her pretty head became recondite from the cameras, which Josey didn't mind so much. What she did mind quite a lot was the fact that Mari's strong arms were now wrapping around her waist.

The Outlaw was too tired, too hurt to react properly. Whatever was going to happen, was going to happen.

Gasping and panting as she hunched over the back of Josey, her arms tightening. She was wondering if she was going to have the strength to do what she wanted, to lift Josey up and powerbomb her on to the hood of the car. The first attempt, Mari pulled up on Josey but was unable to go through with the move and let Josey back down on to her feet as she was gasping for air. Mari began to think that she couldn't do it, that she just didn't have the strength left in her.

But then she thought about all the other times that she couldn't power on through, and those exact times where she pressed on and how she succeeded through her obstacles. This was going to be another one of those times. "Raaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!" Mari roared out as she lifted up Josey up on to her shoulders and with frightening force, would slam her down on to the hood of the car for a vicious power bomb!

Josey had had her head slammed into a car before. Hell, Mari did that to her within this very match. But it was never anything like this. What had just happened to her was totally beyond the pale, and at no point in her life had she encountered pain of this magnitude. Josey's hard head dented the hood of the car and her body went limp. Not even a single groan escaped her lips.

The Outlaw went completely limp. She was still awake, but no one would be blamed if they thought she wasn't. Her eyes were closed and she was still.

With a sickening crunch of human flesh on metal, Mari slammed Josey on the hood of the car as hard as she could, almost collapsing after the deed. Panting as she leaned into the car, brutalized by their fight, Mari was smiling to herself as she thought that she vanquished her Texan foe. Now all she had to do was to prove that Josey was KO'd, stumbling towards the side of the car to have easier access to Josey's arm.

Grabbing to the wrist, she would lift it up again before dropping, seeing if Josey had anything left in the tank.

Josey was waiting for this. She knew what she looked like. The Outlaw was dropped directly onto her head, which made cognizance incredibly difficult. Still, in the back of her mind, she recognized that Mari was going to immediately check to see if Josey was amongst the world of the quick. Her opponent graced her hand and lifted it in the world. This was the most crucial moment of the match so far, and even in her state that was not lost on the Outlaw. But it was so hard for Josey to move. It was hard for her to do anything. For the first moment, Josey's hand fell in free fall.

Then Josey caught herself. Her strong arm did not fall all the way to the hood of the car, and she raised in defiantly against the woman who would achieve victory over her. As quickly as she could, Josey tried to use that same arm to shove Mari back and try to win herself a little bit of time and space. Maybe by then anything in her body would be working the way it should.

Mari lifted the arm of Josey, there was a part of her that was telling her that she won the match and that she had successfully beaten Josey to the point of unconsciousness. However there was another part of her that was telling her that her opponent wasn't out just yet and that voice was proven true when the arm of Josey refused to go down. Mari's eyes widened as the arm remained in the air before shoving her backwards and away from the car.

Mari couldn't help but smirk a little at the spirit of her opponent, wiping her mouth of the blood that dripped from her forehead and trailed down to her lip. There wasn't much reason to keep back and allow Josey to do as she pleased, Mari made her way back to Josey and attempted to reach out and grab her by the hair. There was no need for anything else flashy or fancy, and opted to just punch Josey square in the face.
