Cold Snap

Natasha hummed softly to herself, as she bent over the bench in the locker room, slowly lacing up her boots. Tonight was a big night, and she was feeling damn good about it. Tonight was the first night she would be back on AFW TV since her match with Valley Doll at Avalanche 2015. That had been the biggest, most important fight of her life, and she had won it magnificently.

She had taken some time off after it, however, deciding she did want to head back home for a while after all. Not to run away, like she had planned after her twin losses to Valley, but to visit some family and some old friends. She had spent quite some time away, and when she had returned to Japan, they had kept her off TV for a bit, letting the proud Russian do some tours and promo work around the country, and a handful of easy dark matches to keep the rust off.

Tonight, though? She was back on TV, and she was ready to kick ass.

She wondered, briefly, who her opponent for the night was going to be. They had kept her in the dark about it, and while she had heard a few rumors, she didn't put much stock into though. She briefly considering who her opponent might be, then shrugged, straightening up and heading to a mirror to make sure she looked okay. There was no point in worrying about it. She would be finding out who she was fighting soon enough.
