Envy v Belinda Northman

Envy was excited for the next match. She still needed to make her mark on this league, and beating a Northman – the closest thing this place had to wrestling royalty, from what she understood – seemed a sure-fire way of doing it.

Her theme music kicked in and the blonde Brit bounced onto the entrance ramp, marching keenly towards the ring. Envy’s eyes sparkled as she waved to the crowd, lapping up their cheers – though their appreciation was probably down to her revealing, two-piece blue cutout costume (showing off plenty of her ample curves) rather than any actual fan recognition just yet. No matter. Envy was sure that once these people saw her in action, they’d all be converts.

..But, I can't do anything, can't stop this burning from within...

As the pop rock played, she sashayed up the steps, grabbing and swinging around the corner post to sidle neatly though the ropes. She raised an arm in salute to the crowd and sauntered across to her corner, clearly in good spirits and swaying her hips far more than was necessary to get across the ring, but just the right amount of necessary to get the front row enthused for the upcoming match.

Belinda had another match scheduled for tonight, one against some new woman who was apparently taller and weighed a bit more than her. It wasn't the first woman that Belinda had fought who was a bit larger than her, and it wouldn't be the last. She was without a doubt looking forward to it through, as she was practically becoming the rising start that most people thought she would be when she first joined the league.

Stepping out onto the ramp after her opponent's theme had ended, Belinda's own theme started up blasting out of the speakers as the crowd was sent into cheers. The Swede stood on top of the ramp with her hood covering her head, she'd start to sprint down at full speed towards the the ring and when she reached it in the run jump up and dive right in between the bottom and middle ropes. Rolling up onto one knee in the dive.

She moved up towards her feet and ran up towards the corner and jump up onto the middle ropes, stretching her right hand up into the air for a few seconds before jumping down onto the mat and turning around to face her opponent. She'd bring her hand up and pull down her hood and then start to walk up towards the center of the ring. Looking to offer the newbie a handshake to start things out with. " Hello, I'm Belinda. I hope we can have a great match here tonight."

Envy watched impassively as Belinda made a high energy entrance and god a good reaction from the fans. Buoyant, beloved... instinctively, Envy wanted to take her down a peg, but the Brit decided it would be better to play nice. For now, anyway. If Belinda thought she was an innocent newbie, it would probably help in the long run.  

Her blue eyes watching Belinda carefully, but her lips curled up into  a friendly smile, Envy stepped forward to accept the proffered handshake.

“Thanks darling! Me too! I'm Envy, nice to meet you,” she beamed. “I just hope it won’t be too embarrassing for you to lose to a newbie,” she added with a playful smirk, meeting Belinda’s red eyes to see how the smaller girl reacted.

Taking a hold of Envy's hand in the handshake the blond would smile and offer her a nice and friendly face and attitude. It seemed as if the white haired woman was quite a friendly and nice person whom she could have a nice match with. Perhaps even make a new friend here in AFW.

When she heard that Envy was planning on beating her, the Swede couldn't help but smile a bit. She shook her head gently and then stepped back. " You're welcome to try, but I'm not planning to hold back on you." Belinda let out as she would raise her hands up for a grappling stance and slowly start to circle Envy, looking to invite the girl to do the same.

All that was left was for Belinda to attempt and offer Envy a lock up when the bell finally rang.

“Oh, I’m sure you’ll give a hundred and ten percent, you look the type!” Envy smiled back, eyes sparkling, but trying not to come across as overly sarcastic, at least not yet anyway. The two blondes were circling each other, clearly ready for combat, but Envy’s arms were rather arrogantly lowered, except when she raised her hand to brush her hair. She was still sizing up Belinda, but this looked like it could be fun.

The bell rang and Envy accepted the lock up. She was happy to play it straight if she had the advantage, and she felt she was a little bigger and taller than the Swede. Envy grit her teeth, dug her white heels in, and tried to force Belinda back in the grapple.

Belinda nodded her head at Envy's comment, it was kinda true...if not more. Ever since her comeback she had been basically giving everything she had an more with every thing she did. The young blond also wasn't planning to slow down or stop from doing that anytime soon!

As such she looked on at Envy as her opponent came in and accepted that lock up. With the two of them grappling the Swede got to feel just how powerful her platinum haired opponent was, she grit her teeth and dug her heels into the mat, bracing her leg and doing the best she could to keep them in a stalemate! "nngh.."

“Ngh…”

Envy was big, but Belinda was pretty athletic, so this wasn’t a clear-cut path to success. The British girl would need to work to win the test of strength. So work, she did. She gripped Belinda’s arms hard, muscles visibly straining under her pale skin, as the blue-clad wrestlers pushed against each other. Envy tried her best to stand tall, trying to bear down on Belinda, happy to either push her backwards onto the ropes, or down onto her knees.

“You can’t hold me forever..” Envy hissed through gritted teeth, trying to get a foothold in the psychological battle as well as the physical one.

Belinda and Envy stood in a deadlock from the looks of it, neither of them giving an inch so far as they stood in their little stalemate, frames and power pushing against one another...but after a few seconds Belinda's feet started to slide a bit on the mat. She grit her teeth and groaned out....

What Envy was saying was without a doubt true, though she wasn't the same kind of fighter as her sister. The Swede would attempt to push herself backwards, trying to fall down onto her back and drag Envy with her, attempting to then raise her foot up and press it against Envy's abs and push her foe upwards, looking to monkey flip the slightly bigger and stronger platinum blond haired wrestler.

Normally Envy liked being proven right, but this time it backfired somewhat. Instead of goading Belinda into keeping up the gruelling test of strength, the Swede showed a more astute strategy by skilfully shaping for a monkey flip, pulling the rug out from under Envy’s advance.

“Agh!” Envy yelped in surprise as she took an unexpected boot to the stomach, then was propelled up into the air. Her large frame flew quite spectacularly across the ring as Belinda propelled her up with her muscular legs. Envy flipped head over heels and then crashed down hard on her back. The momentum of the throw made her sit up with a dazed expression on her face, before flopping back down onto the mat, the back of her skull thudding against the canvas. She’d lost the opening exchange, that was for sure!

Belinda's monkey flip seemed to have worked quite well as she sent the busty newcomer flying right over her and crashing right down onto her back, the Swede was not exactly as prideful as her sister as she would foolishly try and keep up a test of strength like that which she was loosing, it seemed as if this Envy was a very strong gal, nearly as strong as Alaina...which would prove difficult for the Swede, but it wouldn't be impossible!

Belinda quickly attempted to move up towards her knees and turn towards Envy, looking to grab a hold of the platinum blond woman's head and pull her up into a seated position, where the young Northman would attempt to wrap her arms tightly around Envy's neck and attempt to lock her into sleeper hold! " Nngh.."
