Feeding Time: Mako “The Shark” Vs Shido the Fanboy

Shido wasn't the most physically imposing guy on the roster. He was small relative to the rest of AFW wrestlers, he was generally well-mannered, he even made an effort to joke with fellow wrestler both in and out of matches. And these qualities tended to have his opponents underestimate him. Shido had been in many wrestling matches both in and out of AFW and he'd spent time proving himself to many people in the ring. He pretty much never joked or took action against an opponent in the ring without a plan, and he had one against Mako. Even if it didn't seem like it at first.

Shido knew another strike was coming. Mako made the assertion that she could do more than just throw punches and kicks but right now it only made sense. 4 knees just connected, why not attempt another? The sound of Mako's leg guard making contact with his chest echoed throughout the arena! Fans in the front row reacted as the blow hit! Yet...Shido didn't seem to react! A closer observation would reveal that the Fanboy hooked his arm around Mako's leg as she kicked him, and he grabbed hold of it! He took the blow so that he could get a hold of her. That kick hurt. They all did. Shido's faced grimaced in pain at that last one, but the Fanboy fought through it and patiently waited for his chance!

Once he had a hold of the leg he was kicked with, Shido would reach for the other leg and attempt to yank it and sweep Mako off her feet! If successful, he'd utter: "I'm sorry, too!" Before sweeping his opponent off her feet and grabbing hold of both her legs, further showcasing his toughness by attempting to swing her around for several rotations with a Giant Swing!

Mako heard as the heavy kick collided against Shido's chest, creating a loud smacking sound through the arena. But as the shark tried to bring back her leg, she found that the fanboy was holding onto it tight, causing her to struggle with keeping her balance. "What are you...woah!" Mako would say as Shido yanked her leg, causing her to fall right onto her back with a thud.

"Ugh...what the hell?" she would groan, finding both of her legs grabbed by the fanboy. Shido then proceeded to spin the shark while holding onto her legs, going around and around for several spins. Mako gritted her teeth as he did so, trying not to yell as that would make this slightly more embarrassing than it already was. She wasn't pissed though, considering that this was a match. She was more surprised that Shido could do this considering his smaller size, he was turning out to be a rather impressive opponent. Of course that wouldn't stop her from paying him back ten fold when he finally stopped spinning her...hopefully soon since she was already pretty dizzy.

Shido was successful in turning the tides, at least for now. But it did come with a price. He'd spin the beautiful Shark lady a good 7 or 8 times before letting go and tossing her across the ring, earning a small pop from the crowd as they were impressed with his strength as well! Upon tossing Mako, Shido would fall on his butt and clench his chest. He was only able to ignore the damage from the kick for so long before it caught up to him. He'd take a moment to recuperate and breathe.

"Man....you know...if it didn't hurt so much, I think I could get used to the idea of you kicking me, haha. Shido said while taking pauses to inhale deeply. He slowly pulled himself up to his feet and approached his opponent. If she was still prone, Shido would try to cover her and hook her leg for an attempt at a pin.

Mako couldn’t tell how many times she had been spun, all she new was that the room was spinning and she didn’t like it. She liked it even less when Shido let go of her, sending her to crash on the ring, rolling a bit until coming to a stop. Laying on her back for a bit as she waited for her head to stop spinning. Hopefully she could do so before Shido took his advantage over the shark.

But Mako seemed to have luck on her side as the fanboy took his time, giving her the time she needed to prepare. So once Shido finally made his way over, the shark was more than ready for young man. Once he got close enough planning what seemed to be a pin for her, Mako would thrust her waist up before sending her leg up in an attempt to land a kick to the side of the young man’s head with a grounded enzuigiri.

Shido took time to recover from those kicks. Despite all that time, Mako was still on the mat, seemingly stunned by his Giant Swing from earlier. The Fanboy would slowly crawl over to his beautiful foe. He tried to drape his body across her own and attempt a pin, but was instead greeted a brilliant grounded Enziguiri kick from Miss Adachi! The kick knocked Shido aside a decent distance, causing him to roll and end up on his back!

Shido would lay there stunned and contemplating life and what just happened while the fans began to clamor, as they were impressed with the exchange of moves they were witnessing.

Mako’s surprise enziguiri did just as she intended it to do. It caught Shido off guard, and struck him right on the head, sending him to the side before rolling to his back. Motivated by her successful attack, Mako would do a kip up, landing on her feet with adrenaline pumping. The shark would then head over to her downed opponent before trying to bring the fanboy up to his feet.

“Come on, up we go…can’t let you off that easy.” Mako would say, as she pulled him by his arm and shoulder. If she could get him on his feet, the shark would hold his head to her side. Then running with Shido in tow, Mako would preform a springboard bulldog after jumping on and off the ropes. This would get the crowd, who were already impressed, cheering even more for the two opponents.

Shido groaned as he was helped to his feet. The sight of Mako standing over him made him blush a bit as he was helped up. But no amount of arousal or beauty could undo the pain he felt from the last two kicks he took. "Uugghhh..." he moaned softly as Mako held his head. Shido would be pulled along with the Shark of a woman, across the ring and to the ropes before she showed off her athleticism and leaping onto the ropes! Using the elasticity of the ropes, Shido's opponent would bounce off of them and go airborne and getting some nice hang time before finally coming down and driving Shido's face into the canvas with a Springboard Bulldog!

The crowd cheered for the bodacious beauty as she seemed to take control of the match! Shido's head bounced hard off the canvas! The Fanboy would lay prone, sprawled out, and motionless for a moment - clearly stunned from that last unexpected maneuver!

Mako was ready to make an impression in this match, and a Springboard Bulldog seemed like a good choice to show of, and deal a good amount of damage to her opponent. And after jumping off the ropes to land Shido’s face into the canvas, it turned out to be a very good choice as the young man laid motionlessly. Apparently Mako had completely stunned by the young man with her attack.

And with Shido currently unmoving, Mako would waist no time in rolling the fanboy over onto his back, and hook his leg while pulling it back. Even if it was still early in the match, the bulldog did a number on her opponent, and kicking him while he was just laying there seemed unnecessary. So in the spur of the moment, Mako had begun to pin Shido, too excited by the raging crowd to realize she didn't even want it to end here.

So then the referee girl rushed over to do the count, and with Mako holding onto Shido tightly she'd lay down and check to see if his shoulders were down. Then after seeing that the fanboy’s shoulders were in fact down, she’d begin to shout “One!" once her hand came down on the ring.

But while Mako wanted to win this match, at the same time, she didn't want to now. The match was still early, and she wanted to keep it going. And yes she was the one who pinned him, but in the spur of the moment, now she regretted it. So if Shido couldn't break out by two, she would release it herself. "Come on Shido, let's keep this going..." the shark would whisper, trying to get some fight in the young man.

Shido would effortlessly be rolled over and pinned by his opponent. Mako eagerly hooked his leg and forced her body weight on him to apply the pin. She did so with such gusto and convincing fashion that the crowd got hyped and began to count with the ref! Anyone paying close attention would see Mako's facial expression change as her excitement wavered when she realized that the match could very well end here. The second count was slow, or at least it felt long. Long enough for Mako to convey some of her feelings by trying to spur him with her words. And sure enough, her words would reach the Fanboy through his daze and wake him almost immediately.

"TW-!"

The referee would slap the map and begin the second count, but stop as soon as she noticed Shido break the pin. The young man kicked out with more life than people had expected from him. The crowd made the two count and cheered when Shido kicked out. They, too, wanted to see these two go at it for a while longer. Shido turned to his side, towards Mako before uttering: "Having fun?"

If left uninterrupted for a few moments, he would slowly find his way to all fours, and then to his feet before facing Miss Adachi, again.

It seemed Mako would get her wish as Shido suddenly kicked out of the pin around two, allowing the match to continue. It seemed that the fanboy had more in him than the crowd, as well as the shark, had thought. And that was getting her excited as she rolled away a bit to make some distance before standing up.

“Heh, well lets just say I could kick you all day long” Mako teased as she got to her feet, ready to deliver another attack on the young man. Shido was slow to get up, but she would give him the time he needed to get to his feet, ready to send him right back down. But instead of knocking him back down, maybe the shark should take a different approach this time.

So once Shido got to his feet, Mako would resume her attack by heading back at the young man. After getting close enough, the shark would try grabbing a hold of her opponent’s arm, planning to whip him into the corner farthest from them. Shido had taken some pretty good hits up till now, so Mako was betting she could send him right over there with a bit of force. It shouldn’t take too much effort she would think, believing the fanboy wasn't ready for such a move.
