Rina Ninoita vs Blue Thunder Mask - Colour Clash

Rina was wanting to think that she was actually on a roll here, a rare thing for the yellow wonder. In fact her and the previously mentioned thing was often impossible in the same sentence, which was going to be proven evident in the next few moments right after Rina wrapped her arm around BTM's rather muscled neck. She was hoping to leap forward and make him taste the canvas, that was until......she wasn't moving forward in the way she wanted.

In fact....she was even moving backwards and upwards there! Rina's eyes widened and she let out a loud "Ahhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooooooooooooooo!" and the yellow wonder would do what she often did in her matches.....which was crash and burn at the hands of her opponent!

The mat would resound with a loud thud there and Rina roll backwards from the impact there and then lay in a splayed out fashion there and if one looked closely you could likely see swirly eye patters to boot. As the yellow wonder well, wondered just what happened there!

Blue Thunder Mask normally kept himself in the moment, treating his work in the ring seriously to give credit to all the hard-working people who came before him. Rina's squeal did manage to get a chuckle out of him though, the closest thing to a break of his character he'd face thus far in his career in Tension. It didn't stop him from planting her on the mat though with all the force he could, turning the yellow wonder into a yellow stain on the canvas. While she lay sprawled out and dazed it was his chance to recuperate and take back the ground she had clawed away from him.

On his knees he slid along the mat, pivoting as he came up beside Rina. He reached down to sit her up, forcing one of her arms behind his back and the other over his knee. He positioned one leg in front of her and dragged it back to pinch her leg closed up against him as he pulled her into his lap. Stretching out her arms he brought them around Rina's head and interlocked his fingers. Her body secured and her shoulders semi-locked, he wrenched at her neck with his odd ground stretch, pouring all of his muscle into testing just how much resolve the rookie had to last in one of his holds.

Okay Rina thought she had that there, really the yellow wonder did. If she had driven BTM into the mat she might have been on the fast track to claiming a victory in this match! Still the opponent never did what you wanted them to do as the saying went and Rina was harshly reminded of this fact there as BTM asserted his ring authority over the yellow wonder. Ninoita was trying to mentally scramble there for a response, when suddenly the decision was made for her there. Because next thing Rina knew she was getting hefted into a hold on the ground there!

"A-Agghhhh! K-Knock it off!" Rina yelled in a rather childish manner, perhaps it was because of the jolts of pain shooting through her body there as well as the wrestling fatigue settling in there. Damn she wasn't anywhere near flexible enough to try and overcome this one, strangely a tiny part of the yellow wonder's brain could have sworn that he put her in this hold at some point or another already........

Yet Rina had to focus and struggle! Gritting her teeth Rina would rock the boat as it were, she could see the ropes were quite far off there. Still the yellow wonder came up with another plan, she'd try and use her left arm there and try to get it held on BTM's nearest leg and start trying to move about. It might have seemed like pointless flailing about but Rina was hoping to then try and push backwards as hard as she could while clinging to him as her legs got ready to kick off the mat. Were this to work Rina would try to have her body be on top of his and attempt to transition into a rough looking pin attempt in order to try and force BTM to ditch this painful contorting of her body!

“Afraid not little lady.” He spoke with the cadence of a super pulled straight from the 90's, all bravado and showmanship. He would illustrate his commitment to keeping her locked in with a hard crank of her neck, practically cradling the side of her face in his palms between the vice-like grip he had on her. If he had appeared strong before where chops had been concerned, on the ground here it felt like battling against a wall of brick. He was a technician above all things and it was clear no amount of simple squirming would wiggle her free.

As Rina worked to try and figure out a path to escape, Blue Thunder Mask simply worked the hold and paid close attention to what she was doing. When she fumbled at something he knew would not work, he would give the hold a squeeze, trying to subconsciously deter her from wasting time on fruitless efforts. Once she grabbed hold of his leg and started to rock, he understood where they were going. While his stable base made him nearly impossible to shift in most directions, back was an option for her, especially if she kicked off the mat with the leg she had free. With one of her larger pushes they rolled backward her weight pressing him to the mat in an awkward tangle of bodies.

“One!” The referee was quick to check that shoulders were down and started the count immediately.

While a less seasoned wrestler may have panicked at the sudden pinfall, Blue Thunder Mask kept a cool head. Rina would earn her freedom, briefly at least, as he let his fingers slip away from one another to release her. He quickly brought up his arm on the side one of her arms was tucked behind and tried to wrap it around her head again in the reverse to before, to capture both her head and arm in a dragon sleeper light hold. He had no way to lock in a good choke with her arm still wedged behind him, but it would act like a second headlock and made it easy for him to raise that shoulder off the mat to break the pinfall.

“Not bad, but not enough.” He let her keep his one leg for now in her grip and tried to hook his other around her body to keep her held steady up against him. With his free hand he tried to clamp a hand down on her hip as another measure to hold her close as he did with his leg. Neither effort was escape proof but they would serve as decent obstacles for her to overcome while he tried to keep pressure up on applying his headlock

Okay Rina was starting to get just a tad desperate here, the length of the match was taking its toll on the yellow wonder and she was starting to feel more sore every second went by. Her instructors had warned of this sort of thing, the part where you feel the adrenaline moving out your body and your left trapped or taking your opponent's offence there. Rina had a rare moment of seemingly being more crafty than she likely ever was prior to it and even that wasn't enough to find her purchase against the shark like ground game that BTM seemingly possessed there.

The yellow wonder would admit that this wasn't looking good for her, even with her boundless enthusiasm there this wasn't looking like there was a light at the end of this tunnel. Ah well, nothing to it but to start a boundless struggle as it were and roll around as best she could in the hopes of managing to land her leg on a nearby rope. It was just like flailing about in the dark, stormy sea in the hopes of snatching the life ring, not too hard right?

While it was far from an ideal application, Blue Thunder Mask's modified dragon sleeper was proving to be effective at working Rina's head and neck where it failed to be a threat to choke her out. He flexed his arm, bicep solid against her collar and neck with each hard twerk of the hold. His methodical ground game was meant to wear his opponents down and as the Yellow Wonder flailed to break free she was tapping more and more into her stamina reserves. There was more he could do here to make the hold worse, even try and seal a finishing touch to end things here but that wouldn't make for a good show. He wanted to let her fight, give her a chance to shine. The more she refused to give in, the louder the crowd grew in support for her to break free which is exactly what he was hoping for.

“Break!”

The official called it to the uproaring cheers of the audience as Rina had finally managed to get a boot up onto the ropes. Blue Thunder mask cracked a small smirk, but let it slide away to his heroic stoicism as he untangled his limbs and let the dark haired girl gingerly down to the canvas. As he scooted back and rose to his feet, he gave the girl a meaningful look of expectation that regardless of her state, she was going to have to get up soon or he would be back to make her. For now, he stepped back and walked the edge of the ring, shaking out his arms and legs, giving her a brief time to recover in the name of sportsmanship.

Rina practically had the living daylights choked right out of her there from BTM's masterful skill in the submission arts, if the yellow wonder had been restrained for even a few seconds longer then it was very likely for Rina to have been choked out right then and there. Still her determined and eager nature made sure she could get herself out of this situation, albeit now Rina was reeeallly feeling the soreness now from the length of this match. Even resting there was taking some effort in an ironic manner.....

Yet still, Rina's soul still burned! The yellow wonder would clamber upwards thanks to the ropes there and breathe hard and fast before moving off them into a fighting pose, she had a steely expression her face as she panted with beads of sweat dripping down her skin. Every step seemed to take more effort that before, but that just made Rina work for it all the more! She'd give a loud roar and leap right at BTM! Only for her to trip over her own boots mid rush, however it seemed to play into Rina's favour as her forward agility would carry one of her legs forward. Possibly aimed straight at BTM's head in a makeshift looking rolling koppu kick!

From across the ring, a subtle movement caught his attention, prompting him to ease his pace along the ropes, his eyes turning towards Rina. She moved with a sluggish grace, her form leaning heavily against the ropes, betraying the unmistakable signs of fatigue. It was a natural consequence of the relentless barrage of holds he had ensnared her in, each one sapping her strength. Yet, despite the toll it took on her, she refused to yield, her determination evident as she pushed through the exhaustion to continue the match. What drove her forward remained a mystery to him—was it a matter of pride, a desire to please the crowd, or something else entirely? Whatever the reason, he couldn't help but admire her resilience.

Stepping away from the ropes, he made a deliberate show of adjusting his wristbands, his gaze never leaving Rina as she struggled to rise. Though he stayed busy, he refrained from assuming the role of aggressor, choosing instead to wait for her to make the next move. As she rushed towards him, he prepared himself to meet her on her own terms, raising his bicep in anticipation of a clothesline. However, before he could make contact, she stumbled, careening forward unexpectedly.

A furrow formed on his brow in confusion as he observed her seemingly accidental flip transform into a momentum-fueled kick. Swiftly shifting to the side, he managed to avoid the full force of the blow, though her heel still connected solidly with his collar. Gritting his teeth, he took a braced step back, rolling his shoulder to alleviate the sudden surge of pain. Whether her action had been deliberate or merely the result of luck remained uncertain, but it served as a stark reminder not to underestimate Rina, despite her status as a newcomer to the ring.

Closing the distance between them, Blue Thunder Mask positioned himself over where she had fallen, favoring his uninjured side as he descended. With gravity as his ally, he aimed to drive his weight down upon Rina with a simple yet effective elbow drop, determined not to let her unexpected maneuver catch him off guard again.
