Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome 1E54E9F3-9048-4A89-9F13-3060C5DD7EAD_zpsltdwbdh2

Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission, or KO

****

For the first time in months, Spider Kikuchi stood in the guerilla position, waiting for her music to begin. The moment it did, the unwashed masses would start booing and hurling insults and showing all their petty little hates, but she didn’t care much for it. She was in far too good of a mood to let a bunch of inbred idiots ruin her day. Let them whine and boo and hiss until their throats gave out.

Finally, finally, finally she had a match.

Ever since her debut, Spider had been sidelined. They were too busy getting ready for Avalanche, they’d said. The fans didn’t like her gimmick, they’d said. Every excuse under the sun to keep her out of the ring, but she knew the real reason why. She was good. Too good. They didn’t want her messing up their cadre of perfectly primped little princesses, and so she was kept away from the screens, out of the limelight where she truly belonged. Typical.

But she’d cajoled and bribed and bargained and bitched her way back to where she wanted to be. A match. She had a match. And a special match, at that.

When her music began and the lights went down, she slinked her way out like usual, undulating to the sounds, letting the rhythm dictate her movements. There was a little more spring in her step than usual, however. Longer struts. More pride. She made her way down to the ring as if she were the only person in the world, and as far as she was concerned. Even her opponent wasn’t going to exist. Not really. She was just a tool for Spider to use, an example to be made.

After all, they’d given her a newbie to tear apart. Some ridiculous little girl that had no idea what she was really getting herself into. Typically, this was seen as a thing of honor among wrestlers, a chance to make the first impression for the company. Spider saw it a litle differently, however, and she couldn’t resist the crooked smile as she slithered in under the ropes, thinking of all the horrid little things she’d do to her victims. All the things she’d make her do. Rarely did the flies so easily get tangled in her web.

It was going to be a splendid little ten minutes, she decided. Eager to get it started, she skipped over to her corner and leaned against the turnbuckle, anxious to see what her meal for the evening would look like. Her glimmering eyes glistened under her white hair, peering down the rampway like a child on Christmas morning.

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Post by DizzyKnight Mon Jan 02, 2017 1:11 pm

Just a short few minutes later, Zoey's music blasted over the arena's speakers and the new girl walked out into the light at the top of the entryway. It was clear she was trying her best to contain her own excitement, moving down the ramp very swiftly to a much warmer reception than Kikuchi had received just moments prior. While the crowd cheered and yelled for her, Zoey climbed the steps onto the edge of the ring and waved around at them in response, a wide and bright smile on her face. She placed both hands on the top rope and sprang upwards, vaulting clean over them and landing gently on her feet.

Looking at her opponent made her feel a little uneasy somehow. There was just something... Off about her and her revealing, spider-like attire design, not even mentioning the creepy and crooked smile on the woman's face. She stood between the center of the ring and the opposite corner to Kikuchi, her hands placed on her hips and her waist rotating in a circular motion. Satoshi looked her opponent over a few times, trying to figure out what exactly it was that was so off about her.

"Bonjour, miss!", the teen called out, forming a peace sign with two fingers and giving a warm smile, performing a few basic stretches as she waits for the bell, and for the woman's reply.

She herself was clad in a very simple and generic attire, consisting of a pair of white almost-knee-high boots with white knee-pads just above them after a short gap. Protruding from the tops of the pads was a pair of thigh-high socks in black, a set of small and tight short-shorts around her waist and a plain white bra around her chest. Though the two were the same height, Kikuchi had a barely noticeable weight advantage, being 5kg heavier than Satoshi.

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Post by acuyra Mon Jan 02, 2017 2:14 pm

Spider Kikuchi was not remotely religious, but there were days where she had to wonder if there wasn’t some god looking out for her. A dark, twisted god that liked to send the most innocent flies in the universe right into her waiting web.

She couldn’t have found a more perfect opponent if she’d designed one herself. Young and energetic, she looked so happy to be in the ring. No doubt she had such high aspirations for her AFW career, thinking that this would be the start of some meteoric rise to the top. They all thought that, didn’t they?

Zoey would face some harsh truths in the coming weeks, and realize just how outclassed she was, how little of a fish she was in this big pond. But Spider? She got to be the first to break her in. That was special.

She canted her head as Zoey spoke, not expecting that language to come out of her clearly-Japanese mouth. It seemed queer to her, but then, German blood ran through her veins, so she was hardly one to mock a culture clash.

”Guten abend, insekt.” She replied, letting her thick German slip through, her calm demeanor never dropping. The bell rang and she came casually strutting out of the corner towards her opponent, seeing no reason to rush into this. Better to take her time. Savor the moment.

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Post by DizzyKnight Mon Jan 02, 2017 2:45 pm

Zoey blinked and her smile faded quickly after being called an insect, "Excuse me?" she asked, the instant before the bell rang. Once it had, she began to circle her cocky, creepy opponent. Her heart was pounding in her chest with nervousness and excitement, the resulting adrenaline caused her to move faster and more stiffly than she meant to.

After a short few seconds with her hands raised in front of her chest, Satoshi stepped in quickly and raised her left leg up high to attempt a quick kick at the side of Kikuchi's head. It wasn't particularly powerful, intended more to probe the woman's reaction time and defence, unlikely to deal significant damage. The move seemed safe enough in Zoey's mind, her foot would be back on the mat under her in no time if Kikuchi wasn't anticipating a high blow.

The way Kikuchi looked at her was off-putting, the woman's expression seemed to radiate smug confidence, looking at Satoshi like the new girl was here merely to pad out Kikuchi's victory list. She was determined to make sure that wasn't the case, and going for an early hit to the head made that clear enough for most.

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Post by acuyra Mon Jan 02, 2017 9:22 pm

”You’re excused.” Spider chimed back, still all smiles and sweets. She couldn’t help but wonder what was going through her opponent's mind now. She looked a bit unsure as she paced, not as certain in her steps, likely wondering why Spider had yet to raise her guard. Did she have some inkling of what this was, what she’d gotten into?

Spider hoped so. It would make this even sweeter, if that were even-

There was a flash of movement that Spider just barely had time to see before she was cracked upside the head by a kick, square on the side. Where had it come from? Maybe she hadn’t been paying that much attention, but she didn’t recall any of the telltale signs before a kick. It hadn’t hurt all that much, but it might as well have been a slap in the face. That was how she took it, and the rage that came over her face communicated her displeasure quite well.

That was a mistake on her part, a slip up, and Spider was all-too willing to correct. She dashed forward and swung her arm out in a wide arc towards Zoey’s head, looking to smack her in the back with a backfist. That would put some sense into that silly head of hers.

Zoey couldn't help but smirk as her kick landed against the side of the woman's head. It gave her the impression that Kikuchi's defence was really bad, and seemed to pay off in another way as the woman came charging angrily forwards and wound her arm up for a heavy hit to Satoshi's head. She didn't find it particularly difficult to avoid, bending her knees and leaning back to cause the strike to only hit the air.

"Too slow!" she taunted, and attempted to put some distance between herself and the Spider before she could recover. Now that her opponent was angry she likely wouldn't be too difficult to handle, or so Zoey thought.

Once she got some space she ran to, and threw her weight against, the ropes on the opposite side of the ring and came charging back fast towards Kikuchi, bouncing into the air and attempting to land both feet against her opponent's chest in a dropkick!

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Spider wasn’t the greatest striker by any means, but she’d became adept at landing blows to set up her move devastating moves, working them into her submissions. She could catch Zoey. She could break her, make her scream for mercy. But first, she had to at least hit the bitch.

The way she danced out of Spider’s reach did not instill confidence in the veteran. The smart thing to do would’ve been to hold back and wait for her opponent to come her way - after all, Spider had much less to lose in an even brawl than Zoey.

But when she heard the taunt from the fiery redhead ‘smart things’ went out the window for a moment. Spider charged forward with strides from her long legs, closing in quick on her foe, looking to run her down…

...and, instead, wound up eating a drop kick to the chest for her troubles.

The blow sent her careening to her back, with enough force to roll her all the way over. She was quick to rise back to one knee, gathering her bearings all the while, but she was loopy and dazed for a crucial moment.

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Post by DizzyKnight Tue Jan 03, 2017 7:56 pm

Her feet impacting against Kikuchi's chest was a satisfying feeling to Zoey, especially when she heard the woman crash into the canvas a moment later. The rebound from the impact sent her down onto the mat aswell with a grunt, but she simply rolled back onto her shoulders and sprang back up onto her feet in one smooth, quick movement.

Seeing the Spider on one knee in front of her made Satoshi grin. "How can someone so cocky be so bad?" she taunted in her soft tone, following with a giggle. She stepped forwards and raised one knee up about level with Kikuchi's head and snapped her foot out, hoping it'd connect hard against the woman's skull to put her down a second time.

She was finding it hard to understand why she was doing so well. Her opponent hadn't landed a single hit so far and was behaving very predictably, and that seemed quite suspicious to Satoshi. Perhaps she was holding back? Wanting to give the new girl a chance? Whatever it was, it made her wary and concerned, planning to take a few steps back to put some distance between them even if her kick landed.

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Post by acuyra Wed Jan 04, 2017 9:04 am

In the distance, Spider swore she could’ve heard someone laughing. Japanese crowds were known for their quietness, their politeness, their respect - however feigned she believed they were in that act. But it was that quietness which made the little outbursts seem so much louder, and when Spider fell to the canvas, she could’ve sworn she heard some idiot giggling in the back.

Maybe it was the distraction, or maybe Zoey was just that fast, or maybe it was some combination of the two. Whatever the case, the kick that came next took Spider by surprise, hit her right on the chin. Her hair, magnificent and shimmering, flew up and in arch and she flopped back, crashing hard on her shoulders.

”You worthless, little…” Spider’s curses petered off into mumbles as she rolled over and started to push herself up, working with wobbly feet. This was her match to win, she knew that. Zoey was just getting a little lucky out of the gate. Once she got her bearing, this would be simple to turn around.

In an ideal world…

Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome Empty Re: Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Post by DizzyKnight Wed Jan 04, 2017 1:32 pm

Zoey's smile widened as her kick landed perfectly and put the woman down on her back a second time. She backed off a good distance from Kikuchi until her back was just about touching the ropes on the other side of the ring. The newbie placed her hands on her hips and called out something along the lines of "Too easy" in Japanese, while her hips swayed from side to side.

The teen merely waited for the Spider to get back onto her feet, no matter how long that may have taken her. She wasn't feeling confident enough to try and pin her opponent right now, though she certainly would've liked to, as she was struggling to shake the feeling that Kikuchi was holding something back. Satoshi certainly didn't mind teasing her though, especially now that she was dominating.

"You should go back to bed, madame. Would you like me to give you something to help you sleep?" she said in a condescending tone of voice, though the redhead couldn't help but laugh adorably at how silly it sounded. It seemed she at least was having a good time, though the same couldn't quite be said for Spider Kikuchi.
