You're a Firework! Hanabi vs. Devine of the Valkyries

Hanabi was a stubborn girl, that much was clear. After her first match had gone so horribly awry, after the beginning of this match had so obviously shown to be in her favor, she knew that she had a damn good shot at just winning and starting her career off right. And she wasn't going to let that shot get squandered. No fucking way. So she went for a spear again, because fuck it -- it had to work at some point. And when it did, Devine was hers.

Those legs wrapped around her torso in a strong scissorhold, making the other girl yell out from the pressure. But she was working on adrenaline at this point; she raised her hands and moved to try and punch Devine in the stomach a couple of times, in an effort to try and make her loosen the grip even a little bit. If and when she did, she would try to scoop her up with Devine's admittedly very, very attractive legs still around her -- and jump down, trying to slam Devine down against the mat and sandwich herself against the other girl.

From there, it wouldn't be too hard to go for a pinfall either.

Devine didn’t have the raw power or agility that Stone had. She didn’t have the brutality that Makoto was so fond of, or the ability to take a shit-ton of damage and keep on swinging. On paper, in practice, in the ring, they were better than she was.

But she had her legs. She always had her legs.

They were the legs of a dancer, strong and sinewy from countless hours of practice, and when she brought them together, she could create some excellent force in the middle. That force was what bore down on Hanabi’s middle. When she felt those ribs cracking and caving, Devine just smiled to herself and ramped it up.

Hanabi resisted. Of course, she resisted. Devine was able to get her fists up in time to block, but they were still unpleasant blows to absorb. The slam wasn’t pleasant either, sending a shock throughout her body, even as she clamped on tighter and tighter. What was really worrying, however, was her shoulder on the mat. And the count that followed.

”1…!”

The referee dropped down and started the count, and she was just about to hit the mat a second time when Devine jerked to the side and tried to Hanabi with her, avoiding the pinfall and preventing future ones.
