Peggy McIntyre vs. Lita

Peggy groaned as Lita covered her for the pin. She was insulted that Lita went for a cover so early in the match!

"ONE!"

Peggy screamed as she thrust a shoulder up, breaking the pin after one. She shoved Lita off of her and rolled away, making it back up to her feet. If Lita wanted to beat her she had to do a lot more than that to walk out of the ring with a win.

Both Lita and Lina weren’t surprised by Peggy kicking out with time to spare. Though what mattered most to Lina at the moment is how Lita would react. Of course the only two options were to let Peggy get up on her own or stay on her, which the latter was something she has been vocal about in the past.

Lita was one who would have done either or, depending who and when. However she saw Peggy looking to roll away after being shoved off and had a look on her face that would have said ‘oh no you don’t.’ She quickly followed and when Peggy began to stand back up Lita would look to drive a knee into her stomach before looking to go for a release northern lights suplex.

Peggy couldn't get any breathing room, getting l kneed in the abdomen before she was up all the way. Peggy collapsed again right into Litas clutches as she was planted down to the mat with a lot of force by that suplex, howling in pain as she laid on the mat.

Seeing and now hearing Peggy in discomfort, Lita decide to slow things down a bit but at the same keep the pressure going, after all she would more than likely hear it from Lita if she just let up completely. With that thought in mind she would bend down to pull Peggy back up to her feet, and instead of going for another throw or strike she positioned herself being Peggy and grabbed hold of her to put her in an abdominal stretch.

Peggy was putty in Lita's hands as she was pulled up, easily placed in the abdominal stretch! Peggy flailed about and couldn't position herself to get out. "Ahhhhhhhh! D-damn it... shit shit shit!" Peggy screamed, stuck at Lita's very for the time being! Her loud screams continued to echo throughout the arena as Peggy shook her head refusing to give up but clearly in a lot of pain!

Lita had a feeling that Peggy wasn’t going to give in from this, though she kept it place for a little bit longer as it sounded like Peggy wasn’t enjoying herself. The referee was in good position to check for a submission, even though Peggy was making it clear that she did not intend on doing so.

Soon Lita would have some good news for Peggy, she would eventually let go of the hold on her own…but there also came some bad news. Just before she let go she would look to club Peggy in the lower part of the chest as she had something in mind and wanted Peggy to stay where she was. If Peggy remained where she was, Lita would change her grip just a little bit and transition things into a pump handle slam.

Peggy felt the hold release and barely managed to stay upright after Lita hit her in the chest. Groaning in pain Peggy hobbled in place and was quickly lift up I to the air and brought crashing down to the mat!

She cried out in pain yet again as Lita was in total control! Peggy laid lifelessly on the mat, not moving in the aftermath of the thunderous slam!

Lina was liking what she was seeing so far. She didn’t feel like she had to say anything, though gave Lita a look of approval. Lita noticed and nodded slightly, though her attention was more so on Peggy.

Lifting Peggy up once more Lita looked to whip her hard towards one of the corners. Sizing her opponent up if Peggy made contact with the corner, Lita would run in and go for a leaping body splash.

Peggy was hauled back up, groaning as she was sent rocketing into the corner! Peggy slammed into the corner and if that wasn't bad enough, Lita followed with a thunderous running body splash!

Peggy let out an agonizing cry as she looked limp, falling down to a sitting position in the corner on the canvass!

After connecting with the splash and backing up from the slight recoil effect from the collision, Lita noticed that Peggy felt down from the impact. With Peggy sitting against the corner a couple of thoughts came to mind. She could have ran in again and or simply rub it in literally, but she knew that being cocky can backfire and make the giver look bad if the receiver somehow recovered from it. She knew there were ways of giving her fans a little bit of a show while continuing to stick it to her opponent, however she decided to stay the course.

She lifted Alaina back to her feet and rested her against the corner. After putting her in position Lita would mount the middle rope and gestured to the crowd to count along before beginning to rain down the ten punch combination. If Alaina didn’t fall down or manage to counter the barrage Lita was dishing out, Lita would stop after the 9th one before looking to tag Alaina with the opposite hand for the 10th punch before hoping down.
