Strange Things Afoot

“Whatcha mean?” she asked when Alaina mentioned about this Bryan guy. “Sometimes what?” She heard Ala was with someone, but to what extent she wasn’t sure, plus from the sounds of things it may or may not be an issue. Since Ala listened to her rant her ear off the least Kelly could do is let Ala do the same.

"He is my boyfriend, he wrestles in Tension but I hardly get to see him anymore. I just don't know where we stand sometimes." Alaina said. "Enough about that, are you sure you are good? I know how nasty those.... distractions can be for people who want to distance themselves from that sort of thing."

"Yeah I'm sure, but have you at least talked to him?" The thought of Alaina being with someone but with an unsure status was a bit alarming. "Not trying to pry but maybe you should give 'em a shout." She wanted to avoid pressing the issue, but if Alaina wanted to talk more about it she was there.

Alaina shrugged and looked over at Kelly. "We are fine really, we talk. There aren't problems or anything but its a distance relationship which is new territory for me. It is what it is." Alaina said as she sat back. Alaina figured it was time to change topics so she opted to bring up something they both knew. "I really get what you were saying though about the Friction card. There are some solid wrestlers around though. Like, what was the best match you have seen recently?"

“I guess that can cause problems in a way” she’s known a few people who have mentioned something similar “but hopefully it’ll work out.”

As for particular things wrestling wise she’s seen lately she couldn’t recall much. “While how I’ve been I haven’t really been paying attention. I barely recall the match where my boy won the tag belts with Dai, but part of me recalls wanting to bet against them at one point.” She lets off a small shrug before continuing “Why, who knows. But from what I can recall about them their opposition were tops and put the majority of Friction’s champions and contenders to shame. Not sure if it’s your thing but maybe you should try yourself against them some time if given the opportunity to.”

Alaina raised an eyebrow as Kelly spoke. "I guess the Friction women put to shame are the same crowd that are managing to keep me from winning, so I will let others go play with the men and stuck to facing women." Alaina said with a shrug. She never wanted to do much in Tension. Too many of the guys were too touchy and feely for her liking inside the ring.

“I bet Tension’s got some nasty’s too, doubt it’s side exclusive.” She had a feeling some guys, and some gals too, would use that as an excuse to give grabby, but she knew all weren’t like that. “I can safely say though those UKE guys wouldn’t cause problems like that. To be fair though some normal attacks guys can do on other guys if they were to do it on us” she continues and holds up her boobs for a second “our fun bags get in the way.” She let’s go and finishes “Can’t hold that against them. Though with that in mind you got me thinking how a fight with you against Ryan or John might go. I’d pay to see that, not much though if I can get away with it” she smirks.

“So, where we goin’? Are we there yet?”

"Friction has better talent I feel, so if those guys stick to wrestling I feel like I would be able to take it to them." Alaina answered as she saw what looked like a nice spot. Good neighborhood, decent looking crowd... this would work.

Alaina parked the car and got out hoping that this place was a nice one.

“Like I have done it’s nice to see people willing to face those on the opposite roster, though a lot of the joint’s wheelings and dealings can be difficult to understand. Sometimes I wonder who’s idea it was to call the place as a whole what they did. Are we being watched by someone other than God?” She whispers to her in a teasing tone “Shall we give the flys on the wall a little show?”

She wasn’t meaning any harm so hopefully Alaina picked up on that. She got out of the car with her and followed. She wasn’t sure of what to think about the place that was chosen, though with how things have been with her lately she had no reason to object Alaina’s decision to go here.

Alaina walked inside with Kelly and looked around. The place was full without being too crowded, lively without being unruly... Alaina picked a great spot. As they say down Alaina ordered a margarita and smiled. "So, do ya come here often? Do they ever do any shows or fun events here?"
