Hello!

Just wanted to say hello before i jump in.

I am new to the site, but not at all new to RPing. I almost have thirteen years experience. Figured i needed a change. I am a massive fan of fighting RPs, however where i have come from previously was just too full of drama and all the fights were based solely on character construction and executed attacks. There was no story, and you spent most of the time calling a judge to come and independently verify the post. Got a bit sick of that.

So here i am, everything here seems to be much more relaxed, without compromising on quality. I will be making a character, very shortly and will more than likely be bugging you for a RP soon. Unless you get to me first.

I am pretty sure that you will have no need for a judge here.

Yeah, I've been on websites which require a judge like that, and this is definitely much more relaxed and player-driven. Welcome, and hope you'll have fun here on AFW!

Happy you've decided to join us. I can attest to the relaxed atmosphere that you're looking for here. The only hard part, I'd say, is getting started and falling in sync with how RPs flow here. I'm sure you've scraped by them already, but be sure to have a look at the rules as you're building your first character:

You can find more on the "Rules" page, but these three I find to be the most helpful for newcomers. The last one in particular is a really cute, helpful illustration of how matches tend to work. If you have any questions or just feel lost on certain things, be it rules or hitting a roadblock on one of your characters, don't hesitate to ask. Everyone here is really helpful.
