SS 18 Hardcore Title: Silver Ace (c) vs Jessica Wright (Monsters Ball Match)

Jessica was still feeling the reverberations from the blow. The sting in her arm now vibrated her shoulder, and Jessica waved her fist in the air to try and alleviate the intense pain that she had caused herself. But it was in vain. Jessica knew that the only thing likely to cause the pain in her hand to come to an end was time, and the clock was ticking.

The same fire extinguisher that Jessica had just nearly broken her knuckles on slammed into my gut. Jessica fell forward onto her knees, only holding herself up using her hand. She was having a very difficult time breathing, and she was sure everyone watching knew exactly why.

God bless whosever job it was to stock weapons under the ring for this match. She could kiss them.

With Jessica down in the dirt, Ace dropped her weapon, instead grabbing the woman by her arm and pulling her up to her feet. Placing her head under Jessicas arm, and her arm over jessicas head, gripping the womans shorts for leverage, before trying to lift her up with a suplex onto the dirt!

Jessica wanted to get up, sure. But she wanted her ascent to be on her own terms, one where she was getting up and raging at her opponent in an unstoppable show of force whose terrible wrath would echo through the ages. As it were, Silver Ace was there. Her opponent had grabbed her arm and foisted the Violent Violet to her feet. Soon, a pair of strong arms wrapped around her, portending serious consequences for her in the very near future. A string of profanity came from her, but it did not halt the inevitable.

Jessica's body was soon slammed into the centuries old dirt of the colosseum. Unlike the canvas, it had no bounce. The force which was exerted on her transferred to nothing but pain, and Jessica's body flopped down afterwards. Having already been out of breath thanks to the fire extinguisher slamming into her gut, the progress on getting up was quite slow...

As bad as the suplex onto the dirt was bad for Jessica, it wasn't a cakewalk for the Hardcore Champ either, Ace letting out a gasp as she dropped flat onto the cold hard dirt. It took a few seconds before she rolled back over and got up to her knees.

Bad as that was for her, it was far worse for Jessica, and Ace wanted to take full advantage of that. Her outfit already covered in dirt, Silver Ace waved the referee down, crawling over to Jessica's prone body and hooking her leg for a pin attempt!

"Cmon ref! Count it!"

With the falls counting anywhere, the ref girl did just that, hopping on the ground and slapping her hand against the ring apron as she counted out the pin. "ONE!"

A grimace appeared on her face. The position she was in was entirely familiar to her, it was just that usually, she was on the other side of it. So when her leg was hooked, she recognized what was happening. It is just that the rush of adrenaline ripped the context from her. She didn't know whether it was count one or count three - at this point, the only thing that truly mattered was breaking out and showing Silver Ace what was what.

In a triumphal display of force, Jessica kicked out of the pin with a powerful kick right before the little ref girl slapped her hand on the sand for the count of two. In a match such as this, on a night such as this, it was going to take a lot to keep the Violent Violet down for the count.

She got herself clear of Silver Ace and rose, brushing the sand off of her as she went. "That was fucking dumb," she said, matter of factly.

Ugh. Dirt sucked. The cold hard ground sucked even more, since it made even landing her own move hurt.

And of course, it was for naught, with jessica powering out of the pin attempt before a two count. Figured. It was going to take more to put her down, and Ace wasn't looking forward to it.

She rolled over, starting to pant as she pushed herself up to all fours, sweat drippimg into the dirt...when she saw Jessicas boots, looking and seeing yhe violent violet already on her feet, glaring down at her, as she kneeled in the dirt, open and exposed.

"...fuck..."

When opportunity knocked, Jessica was going to be the first to answer the call. A woman as manically driven as the Violent Violet knew that when it comes to wrestling you have to take every shot you are given. Inside of and outside of the ring. Somewhere far away someone had decided that Jessica was worthy of going for the belt, and Jessica felt good about that. But here and now, Silver Ace was reeling, and she had to take advantage of that.

Jessica charged forward, her strong legs pumping and her long arms swinging up and down. There was only so much distance between the two fierce competitors, and Jessica's height and burning desire to commit atrocious acts of violence ensured that the gap was closed with great celerity. Jessica hopped up and sent her knee forward directly at Silver Ace's face. That was sure to cause some damage...

Double Fuck.

Another reason fighting on the dirt sucked, it was softer than padded cement, and it was actually harder for her to get a foothold, her boots digging into the dirt, making it take a few seconds longer for her to start to get back to her feet....which was a few seconds she simply didn't have, as Jessica came at her, easily closing the short distance between them.

There was, simply put, nothing she could do. The nearest weapon, the fire extinguisher, was too far away and too heavy to grab and pull up in front of her to use as a shield for a second time, and Jessica's long limbs gave her reach, the challengers knee plowing hard into Silver Ace's face, a sickening "CRACK", followed by an anguished scream of "AGHH!" was heard as the champ fell onto her back, hands going to cover her now broken nose, blood pouring between her fingers!

Jessica watched her opponent. She was practically born in the ring and could read women with a canny ability. As Ace scrambled in the dirt of the arena, Jessica recognized that she could not get up in time. The faintest of smiles spread across her face as Jessica approached her opponent. What was coming was as inevitable as the great tide that nourished Rome since the dawn of the Eternal City.

Jessica was gifted a winning hand, and a gambler like Jessica was destined to play it. Wasting no time, she came to a halt, kicking up the sand as she pivoted back towards her opponent. Her long legs meant that it did not take her long to reach her opponent, and she bent down to grab the woman.

She grabbed Silver Ace by her opponent's hip and her neck, and deadlifted the champion straight from the ground. She then extended the same knee forward that slammed into Silver Ace's gold face. She was going for a backbreaker, straight, sweet, to the point. Wonderfully apropos for a hardcore match, she thought.

Ace would have loved to get back to her feet, really take the fight back to Jessica, teach her how you couldn't keep a good Silver Ace down...but she WAS down, rolling in the dirt, clutching her broken and bleeding nose, tasting the irony blood as it ran down her lips and chin.

Some might say she was overreacting, that a "hardcore" wrestler wouldn't care about such things. Bullshit. It was the first time she had ever had broken anything in the ring, and she wasn't expecting how it felt. As a result, she was defenseless, easily hoisted up by the powerful Jessica, letting out another cry as, this time, she was brought down on her back across Jessica's knee, falling onto the dirt and writhing, arching her back in pain!
