Strategy: Harper’s understanding of fighting comes from adrenaline-filled action movies and schoolyard brawls. She comes in hard and heavy with strong punches and a die-hard attitude, throwing everything she has straight from the word 'Go'. When push comes to shove, she’s a mixed bag, using hard punches and kicks to wear her opponent down then leaning towards submission holds to keep them on the ground. She takes a lot of pride in being able to hold down bigger and stronger opponents, getting them to quit or pass out however she can, usually to some kind of chokehold she thinks up on the spot. Nevertheless, she’s a relentless fighter that won't go down ‘till the bitter end. If she can’t beat them straight up, she can damn well outlast ‘em.

Type: Rough n’ Tumble Brawler. Cover your ears.
Style: Backyard Brawling

Preferred Matches: Standard l No Holds Barred l Oil/Mud Wrestling l Bondage
- Big on bets and challenges.

Favorite Moves:
- Hooks
- Knees
- Elbows
- Kicks
- Smothers
- Rear Naked Chokeholds
- German Suplex
- Flying Jumping Kick

Signature Moves:
Scorpion Hold - With her opponent on all fours, Harper will catch them in a waist lock from atop, facing their rear. From this position, she will strike their head with her knee again and again until they’re left face down in the dirt.
In Action:

Armadillo- Harper forward rolls towards her opponent, nailing them with a somersault kick as she passes before popping back up to two feet.
In Action:

Finishing Moves:
Cottonmouth - Harper lifts her opponents over her shoulders and keeps them in a torture rack position. After wearing them down a bit, she’ll flip them off her shoulders and ram her knee into their temple to knock them out cold.
In Action:

Gila Punch - Leaping into the air, Harper coils her fist back and throws all her upper body strength into a Superman punch straight to the opponent’s jaw. She likes to use this kind of strike wherever she spots a chance, most effectively as a counter.
In Action:

Monkey Branch - (Ladder Matches Only) With her opponent laid atop the ladder, Harper will slide herself underneath the top step and hook her legs around her opponent’s head. Quickly moving her hands away from the steps and snatching her opponent’s legs, she will hang underneath the ladder by her opponent’s extremities and let gravity do the rest for an extremely painful backbreaker.

Characteristics

Personality: Boisterous. A bit rude. Maybe just plain loud. Being the only sister of seven, rowdy brothers, Harper’s developed a clear, unrivaled sense of a machismo. The definition of a tomboy with some punch to match. At her core, she’s an adventurous, fun-loving girl that wears her heart on her sleeve. She can be a bit impulsive, but does everything in good fun, not withheld by any ambitions beyond moving from one thrill to the next. Her spirited qualities can be overbearing, but also plenty charming depending on the person. She likes to play up the Old West cowgirl angle a bit too, noticing it gets a better reception in this part of the world where its authenticity can’t be questioned.

Growing up on her family ranch, however, has taught her to appreciate certain values: be proactive, pull your own weight, and quit your complaining. She has serious guts and puts her all into everything. Her tough girl attitude is far from a facade, and she’s more than willing to prove it at the drop of a hat.

Outside of the ring, she’s closer to a typical country girl. Cute as a button, and as outgoing as she is clueless. Unlike most foreigners on the roster, Harper doesn't actually like spending time in Japan’s cities. She’s lacking in book smarts and can take a few seconds to process what most people could gather with a simple glance. Urban life especially confuses her, everything from subway systems to instant cup noodles. While she appreciates her independence, she isn’t above asking for help when she needs it.

Appearance: Slightly above average height with a strong body. Despite growing up in the harsh climate countryside, Harper’s housebound duties have allowed her to keep her fair complexion and light skin. She carries a bright and friendly face with her everywhere she goes. It’s a bit of a contrast to her strong posture and the fiery look in her eyes. She almost always has her long, blonde hair in a ponytail, because otherwise, it's just a big hassle.

Almost as big as her breasts. Don't mention those, by the way.

Background
______________________________________

The small view of the world from her father’s ranch was never enough to satisfy Harper. After her mom passed away, she assumed the role as the lady of the household at an early age. While her brothers tended to the livestock and worked the fields, Harper could only watch them as she swept the porch, cleaned the floorboards, dusted the window sills, washed the clothes, hung the laundry, set the table, even cooked some of the meals. Every day, straight after school. All the way from dawn till dusk.

As important as she knew her responsibilities were, Harper couldn’t help but feel caged in her own home. The vastness of nature all around her, the sounds of the wild at her ears, and she was stick with a broom in her hand. She grew a bit envious of her older, hardy brothers that got to tend to the livestock, ride the horses, and travel with their dad into town. She didn’t want to abandon her duties, but she didn’t want to be some house lady either. She wanted the breeze through her hair, the smell of the country always close to her nose.

She started emulating her brothers’ attitudes more and more. She talked tougher and with a bit of grit. She walked with her hands in her pockets and thumbs hooked in her pockets. At school, she stopped playing dolls and talking gossip with the girls at school and got closer with more of the boys. They weren't entirely accepting at first, not until she got into a fight with a couple of them. And won. From there on, her attitude drastically changed over the years, no longer her meek and polite self. She was bold, loud, eager. What began as the occasional trip down to the field, helping to move one haystack or plant one row of graze, was slowly but surely enough to convince her father to let her pick up some of the slack. Her brothers invited her on hunting trips and to go camping. They went jumping off into creeks and egging barns at night. Harper was like an eighth brother to them, only getting closer as time went on.

For a while, at least. Even as her brothers grew up and assumed the mantle of being true men in the family, Harper stayed her rambunctious self. Fresh out of school, she started sneaking out at night and picking fights wherever they would be had, making a point to return home with one more bruise than yesterday, even needing bed rest on some occasions. This was a particularly hard point for her father, who’d allowed Harper to take up more and more field work as one sibling after another left the ranch to bigger and greater things. By the time she was eighteen, it was just her. Her father did her best to keep her more focused on the ranch, piling on chores, keeping her from hunting, trying to dull those negative impulses and tame her wayward soul.

But Harper had grown much more than even he had realized, crafting her own idea of indepdence. Despite her dad’s demands for her to stay as far away from it as possible, she eventually ended up in a local fighting racket a bit closer to the city. Almost immediately realizing she was the only female present, Harper snickered at the snide comments thrown her way. She stepped into the squared circle, made entirely of rotted wood and worn ropes, staring down the six-foot ex-boxer across from her with a wide smirk on her face.

Her grit paid off in the end, as she managed to come out on top of the competition in record time, leaving with nothing but a bloody nose and a fresh bruise on the noggin. This spurred some interest straight away, and she was set up for another round the next night. Then the next night. Then the next night. Every time she’d take down some of the best and brightest these parts had ever known. The fact that they’d all lost to a girl, one with seemingly zero professional training and common sense, only helped to fan the flames. Soon enough, she was the talk of their relatively small town. Harper was regularly invited back to the racket, getting down in the dirt with all manner of opponents, whether they’d be curious locals or vagrants passing through looking to try their hand. She won far more than she lost, and eventually earned her status as the de facto champion.

This went on for a full year, amassing enough prize money to keep the ranch going despite the drop in productivity. In spite of her dad’s suspicions as to where this money was coming from, Harper didn’t save a cent of it for herself. She wanted for none, fully accepting her love of the fight and even considered going professional. Maybe taking up boxing, or mixed martial arts. Find a coach, get a career started, finally spread her wings and take the world by storm.

Time had other ideas for her.

A government-sponsored highway meant to connect several major financial districts required the foreclosure of several ranches in the area, including that of the Williams family. Her father, getting on in years, received a significant pension in return, allowing them to move into the inner city and live a decent life in some upper-class dwelling.

Harper wasn’t interested in any of that. Quickly scrambling together whatever money she had left, she bought the first ticket to Japan the same day the house was demolished. She didn’t fret though. All of her brothers had gone, her daddy too, and now it was her turn. And she’d heard some interesting rumors from traveling folk about a certain world-class promotion across the world. A place filled with the hardest, roughest, toughest, no holds barred competition around. A shining stadium in the heart of Japan, where you either rose a winner, or died a failure.

Sounded like a time.

Fun Facts:
- Does plenty of hunting in the Japanese countryside some days out of the year. She can’t legally own a rifle, but she prefers tracking game with her trusty compound bow any day.
- The scar on her nose isn’t actually a fight-related injury. Her first ride on a horse, a snake spooked it and forced it to rear up, sending the stirrup right into her face. No permanent damage, but the surface never fully healed. She thinks it looks cool, though.
- Can’t outeat her. Harper has an abnormally bottomless stomach and can clear whole platters by herself with room for dessert after.
- She’s a true admirer of nature. When she isn’t hunting, she does plenty of nature hikes and visits the local observatories. She’d like to get into mountaineering too. Climbing the Rockies had always been one of her dreams back home, and Mt. Fuji has never escaped her sight.
