Tension Elimination Chamber Match

"Astolfo has been Eliminated!"

Welp...one down, 5 to go. The crowd had counted along with the pin, letting out a cheer as the first elimination was confirmed by the ring announcer. A shame really. Girl was cute, Ryo would have to be sure to visit her backstage later, comfort her for her early loss.

But for now...

He got his arms up and stepped over the KOed girls limp body, closing the distance between the two fighters. "Yep...let's see whose still here when the next pod opens..." He said, cocky smirk on his face before he made his move, throwing his body down low, aiming for Felina's legs, trying to tackle the woman down and take her off of her feet early!

Ryo was confident, Felina would give him that much from the start. From an outside perspective, there were a lot of cards stacked in her favor - the size difference, a bit of a disparity when it came to muscles, a striking style that could wrack up good damage in a short amount of time and the willingness to inflict said damage.

If he was in any way intimidated, though, he wasn’t showing it. Good on him. She was still going to paste him, but good on him.

He was also fast, which wouldn’t have been that big of a deal by itself - she was fast, too. But when you combined that with a less-than-predictable wrestling moveset, well…

Ryo went low, and by the time she figured out what he was trying to do, Felina was already being knocked over like a bowling pin. She went tumbling to the mat, and while the attack wasn’t enough to keep her down for long, she wasn’t able to get up nearly as fast as she would’ve liked, rising with her fist up in defense and her head shaking.

Most people probably wouldn't have tried a low dive on a pro striker type like Felina. Ryo though, was different. He had fought these "Pro" types before, and in his experience, most of them were too focused on strategy, planning on things going a certain way, discarding certain ways of attack that they figured wasn't, in their terms, feasible enough against their defense. As a result, sometimes they were less prepared for things they had discarded as being useful against them.

Sure, it didn't always work, but in this case, it did, and while it didn't keep her down for long, it gave Ryo enough advantage for him to be able to get back up and throw a hard kick her way while she was still rising!

A slam, a grapple, some kind of crazy flippy thing that she couldn’t have done on the best day of her life - these were the sort of things that Felina would’ve expected to come from Ryo as she rose up. Instead, she was greeted by a boot in the gut. A simple kick. A good kick, one that slipped under her guard and struck the tender meat, but a kick all the same.

It landed right on her abs and bent Felina over, forcing her to stumble back a couple of steps before she could find her proper footing. When she did, she had some new resolve to approach the situation with - being beaten was one thing, but getting outkicked? No. Not going to happen. Not allowed.

So when she rose up, she came at him with a kick of her own. She stood up, lifted her knee up, and shot her foot out towards his chest with a hard push kick, attempting to send him into the corner. Once that was done, she’d work on keeping him there.

Heh, alright, a solid kick, to a so called "pro" of kicking too. That was a good start, all he had to do was keep going with it and he'd have this in the-"BUGH!"

"Bugh" was not what he had intended to say, already having a quip in mind, but one can hardly choose what they say in reaction to getting a foot in the chest, now can they? Indeed, Felina had caught the teen right in the chest with a hard kick, sending him stumbling back to the nearby corner, where he clutched at his chest, wincing from the force of the blow!

And right into the corner he went, driven hard by her kick. It was a good, solid hit, too, though Felina felt it didn’t get quite the damage she was hoping for. Ryo seemed to be hardier than she’d thought, able to stay standing despite a strong hit. Hurt, but not reeling.

She could fix that.

Thanks to the nature of the match, she didn’t have to worry about things like rope breaks making her back off from her opponent, and she decided now was a good time to exercise that advantage.

She tightened up her guard and moved after him, swaying left and right, before she lunged forward and threw out a quick jab towards his face. A right cross came right after, looking to tag him in the chest and keep him in the corner, hoping to force him to fight on her terms.

Ryo had taken a push kick before, but this hurt way more than what he was used to. Woman kicked like a damn mule, with enough force to send the cocky teen back to the corner.

Well, that wouldn' stand, would it? No way jose. He started to step out of the corner, eager to get back into the mix, getting his arms up for defense...only for Felina, having closed in to slip a jab right through his sloppy guard a moment later, her fist tapping his cheek, making him lean his head back, arms up...leaving his chest exposed for the hook she threw into it after, causing him to bend forward a little, spittle flying from his lips, starting to learn what a pure striker could do!

The crowd was starting to get back on Felina’s side as she pressed her advantage. Nothing new, really - she was bright, young, pretty and foreign, all attributes that could get you over with the Tension crowd in record time. Never not a pleasure, having the people at your back, but today it put a little extra spring in Felina’s step. The momentum was swinging in her favor.

It kept on going, too, right into Ryo’s chest, getting in some good damage and earning her a moment to work with. Her choice? To keep piling it on.

”Leaving you breathless?” A quick quip was all the pause Felina gave, before she reached out and seized Ryo’s wrist. Not wanting to be too predictable, she decided it would be best to keep her strategy up, but mix in some of her wrestling training, and keep Ryo moving at the same time.

The best move for that? An Irish Whip. She employed it, leaning back, jerking Ryo along, then twisting about to send him careering off into the opposite corner, with her body weight to drive him forward.

Ok, Felina could hit WAY harder than he could. Lesson learned. He was definitely going to have to be more careful and watch himself around those strikes. Hell, if she could punch that hard, he was legit nervous to feel one of her kicks.

He would have had a quip in response to her own, (Ryo loved quips, as anyone who had to put up with him for a day would know) but she never gave him the time, quickly whipping the teen across the ring, with enough force that he couldn't even turn to cushion the blow, smacking chest first into the turnbuckle, causing him to stagger back, gasping and clutching at his chest.

And boom. Off he went. In fact, Felina’s Irish Whip worked a lot better than she’d thought it would. It wound up pushing Ryo so hard that he didn’t even have time to turn around in time. Her initial idea had been to rush him with a knee to the face when he came stumbling back, but like that...hm.

As Ryo stepped back, Felina ducked down behind him and reached through his legs, grabbing hold of him by the thigh. She fell back, pulling him over, and attempted to drop him flat on his back with a schoolboy pin, looking to take him out quick.

A longshot, but it wouldn’t hurt. Worst case, she was still in a good position.
