Today was turning out to be a rather unnaturally pleasant day!

When Juno awoke from her slumber that day, she felt unusually chipper. Normally, the blue haired woman only earned a few hours of sleep each night, making her tired and a bit sluggish in the morning. The night before turned out to be a welcomed change of pace, getting a full eight hours and a little extra thanks to finally earning a day off both from her job, her research, and studies. Juno actually had a little pep to her step as she moved towards her wardrobe, finally having a full day to herself where she got to do the things she wanted to do!

As quick as a flash, the normally cold woman had found an outfit appropriate of her unusually pleasant mood. Rather then dress in the usual grey hoodie and jeans she liked to hide in during the early mornings, Juno had decided to put in a bit more work then usual, wearing a white dress with a small coat and matching shoe’s making her unusually cold blue eyes stand out in a nice way. All of the bruise on the woman’s pale skin from her various fights at work were gone, letting her natural beauty really shine. For the first time in a long time, Juno really looked at herself in the mirror. No mask, no silly nurse outfit…just Juno Sawyer.

She liked what she saw in the mirror.

After eating a quick breakfast, Juno left to spend her day in whatever way she pleased. It would turn out that the majority of the day would actually be spent at her local library. Juno had a premium membership library card, and upon returning the books she had finished in what spare time she had, she went on the hunt for new ones. Many of the library workers had grown used to the bluenette’s tendency to look around for book, appearing aimless at first, but upon closer look, she was carefully inspecting each novel. The writer, the synopsis, and the first few chapters, Juno read them all with blinding speed, keeping the ones that interested her and replacing the others exactly were she found them. Soon, the young woman would have a large stack of book by her side, all of which she checked out with speed made from years of practicing the use of the library system. Soon, Juno’s nose would be buried in one of the smaller books she checked out, walking along as she read each page, only closing her book for crowds or crossing the roads.

Her next destination was a rather simple one. A local grocery store that was just past her apartment building. Juno needed to get a few different things to stock up on, such as eggs, salad, spinach, oils, and creamer for her coffee. As much as she hated the public, and the common masses that lived in such a dismal environment, she knew she needed to get some of these things if she wanted to eat a proper meal in the next few days.

Juno quickly devised a battle plan, grabbing a basket and keeping her book by her side, using it as a quasi-shield to keep from looking at anyone directly. Her speed and flexibility helped her maneuver around everyone so as to not touch them, but get past them all the same, the loud chatter of each and every person’s own conversations drowning each other out and keeping many from noticing Juno’s maneuverability. Juno would quickly collect everything on her list, with the exception of creamer. With the dairy isle totally empty, Juno actually paused to finish the chapter in her book.

The part she was on was something of a first act climax, the blue haired woman looking visibly excited as she eagerly read the text on the page’s that seemed to keep her unaware of the outside world around her. It was only her ears that were on alert of anyone approaching her, Juno setting her basket down so she could get a better grip on the book, unashamed of reading in the middle of an empty aisleway.

Sayumi wasn't feeling good today so it seemed that Cicilia was going to have to go shopping herself... It seemed like some kind of bug was going around, making everybody sick... Made her wonder sometimes if she was the only one who didn't get it, seeing a whole bunch of people coughing and sneezing their sinuses out like it was going out of style! Bah... It was disgusting... But she knew Sayumi couldn't help it... In just the past couple days, they had gone through AT LEAST two rolls of toilet paper... and that's when she knew she couldn't let this stand... It was Sunday today... and she was going to get a whole bunch of stuff to make her girlfriend well again!

Despite how miserably sick today started out, the weather was nice at least. Even if the human population of the city was under the weather, the weather itself was actually quite gorgeous. Sunny sky, few clouds for shade, warm with a nice crisp breeze... One might forget they could get sick at any moment. The Juggernaut sighed heavily and pulled her hood up over her head, slipping on some black, fingerless/knuckless gloves and black jeans, not bothering to change out of this black tank-top she had worn the night before... Why bother... it looked clean... With only a quick glance in the mirror to see if she was presentable, the German Juggernaut stepped out into the world... As ready as one could be this day...

Cicilia found herself browsing around the store as quickly as she could reliably follow her list, grabbing a whole bunch of fresh fruit to put in her cart, vitamins, aspirin, other such things that would hopefully help her girlfriend heal up faster... It was only when she made her way into the coffee isle did Cicilia freeze up... recognizing the woman who stood alone with a book... The German was behind her near the end of the isle... and even though she couldn't see her face well... she recognized that hair-color... the shape of her form...

"...No... Way..." Cicilia whispered to herself, her sanguine eyes shooting wide. "It's.... Juno..." She had hoped to almighty god that her manager would've kept her away... but it seemed that Juno was simply too much for her to handle... This girl was no doubt waiting her for her, just WAITING for Cicilia to walk up unknowingly for another stupid ambush... Well... what if the tables had turned...?

"Hey." She called, her voice rough and sharp, directed at the blue-haired menace!

Quietly, Juno reached out for the creamer she seemed to desire, but never looked away from her reading material. She swiped at the jar once, twice, then a third time. Catching only air each time as she never reached far enough to actually touch the plastic container filled with cream. Eventually the woman leaned over far enough to snag the jar she wanted, placing it in the basket to insure it did not crush her salad or spinach. Rather then leave, the blue haired woman had was nearing the end, where a big reveal was about to be unveiled.

--

Tomura had finally done it! He had finally confessed to the woman he loved!

The wind blew softly in the park, petals flowing with the wind as it tugged on the two figure’s clothes and hair in a gentle caress. He had been in love with Tomoko for years, since way back when they first met! They had always been friends, doing things together all the time from school projects to outings of all kinds. He had enjoyed her sweet smile, her dashing eyes, and her adorable qualities that ranged from helping anyone that needed it to the cute way she sneezed. Every time she was near him, his heart seemed to race uncontrollably in his chest, pounding away at his ribcage like it was desperately trying to come out and confess to her all on its own!

He had finally gathered the courage to do so himself. Now he had to wait for the answer…

Even in the warm sunset, Tomoko looked beautiful. The soft sun seemed to accentuate every lovely detail, to the beauty of her hair, to the bright blue of her eyes. Tomoko stood there a moment, surprised at her long-time friends’ confession. For a moment the two stood in the warm winds of the park, staring at one another, until…

Tears began to roll down Tomoko’s face. it was only a few at first, but then more kept coming. The sight shocked Tomura, who had always seen Tomoko so composed before. Slowly, the love of his life looked him in the eyes. The sight was strange…There was both joy and sadness in her eyes, like she was happy and sad she had gotten a confession from him.

“Tomura…I’m so sorry. I love you too but, I can’t bear to hurt you.”

“What do you mean?”

Tomoko sniffled, wiping away tears that seem to never go away, “I’m sick Tomura. The doctors….they say I only have three more years, at most.”
"Hey."

The news hit the young man like a train. The girl he loved would be gone in three years… and there was nothing he could do to stop it. Her heart, that which had been beating excitedly now felt like a rock made of lead as it sunk into his stomach.

“So…I don’t want to hurt you, so just please…find someone else a-and-“

“No way!” Tomura shouted, surprising Tomoko, “I don’t care about any of that! I love you Tomoko, and if you only have three years…Well then I want to spend every minute I can with you.”

“B-but…you’ll only get hurt in the end.”

Tomura moved and embrace Tomoko, hugging her tightly as her slender frame pressed against his in a comforting hold.

“I can’t stand the thought of losing you…but with what time we have left, lets make a lifetime of memories together.”

--

The chapter had ended on such a loving note, so much so a slight blush appeared on the icy woman’s face. It was a cute story so far, a tale of two high school students in love, willing to do anything for one another, even as the clock was slowly ticking away.

It was only after digesting her thoughts on the chapter that she realized somebody was standing behind her…come to think of it the person had shouted something in the middle of Tomoko’s confession…

Juno clicked her tongue disapprovingly, getting the feeling whoever it was behind her was irritated, and rather then get hyped up after having a pleasant read, Juno simply leaned down and grabbed her basket, walking over to self-checkout.

“Fine, it’s all yours, keep your pants on.”

The rudeness of some people, honestly…

Juno quickly dashed through the crowd, exiting the store and crossing the street towards her apartment building. It was a surprisingly nice place, one with a helper at the door that actually recognized Juno as she approached, giving her a gentle wave.

“Hello Toru, sorry to be aa bother, but could you get someone to take these up to my room for me? I just realized I needed to head over someplace real quick.”

The man simply nodded as Juno handed her groceries over. Truth be told, the book made Juno somewhat nostalgic, and she was going off to read in the park that wasn’t far from here…funny enough, it was saddled up next to another home complex, one Juno had considered moving into for a time before deciding against it.

I wonder if the place I rundown yet… Should check it out, while I’m there.

A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~ Empty Re: A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~

Post by Cicilia Thu Apr 18, 2019 11:13 pm

It seemed that Juno wasn't as on edge as she usually was, the girl so wrapped up in her damn book that she didn't hear the German calling her out. This caught the Juggernaut by surprise... She never figured the nurse to be the kind of woman to read overmuch... let alone meld into one to the degree the outside world faded away. Could she have misidentified her? Was it possible that this girl wasn't even Juno at all...? The German was dubious... and frowned heavily as Juno simply walked away, disappearing within the store's interior, the boxer feeling... significantly uncomfortable. She didn't like this... Not one bit. What were the odds of someone looking EXACTLY like one of the most savage and crazy wrestlers in the AFW existing in the same location as the girl she appeared to resemble...?

Not. Bloody. Likely, that's what.

...But Cicilia wasn't going to start a conflict in a fucking store... Well... She WAS but being brushed off was surprisingly sobering to someone like her! What the hell was she THINKING, trying to pull what Juno had done to her all that time ago? What was that going to get her other than a crowd and a bad reputation...? God knows she didn't need to make it any worse for herself than it already was... Sometimes, when she was bored and checking her ratings on the AFW site... she could seem them lower in real time! Granted, there would sometimes be pulses in positivity... but after that fight with Kaylee, things just... weren't what they were. She didn't need something else like that, something that would have much more real and immediate consequences. Suffocating the impulses inside that compelled her to give chase, Cicilia went about her day shopping as normal, trying desperately to relax...

As it turned out, there wasn't much she needed to get beyond the medicines she had quickly scribbled on... With all of them in hand, she walked over to the self-check out isle, scanning her stuff before walking out the way she had come in... refusing to even glance at the bright shade of blue SCREAMING in her peripheral vision.

A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~ Empty Re: A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~

Post by Tarantulust Fri Apr 19, 2019 8:18 am

The woman with blue hair strolled walked down the street with surprising purpose, her book tucked nicely in her jacket as her main focus was taken up with avoiding contact with the other people on the street. The park really wasn’t too far away from where Juno lived, just a brisk walk away for someone with her natural agility. Like a surgical blade, Juno made her way through the crowds with precision and grace, touching no one and slipping past most completely unnoticed. She had grown used to avoiding people all her life, and now it was as simple as taking a breath for the cold woman. She looked right through those her eyes touched, as if they were never there in the first place, and many passersby returned the favor.

By the time Juno had actually made it to the park, she found it to be rather crowded. Children and families were all strewn about, playing various games, talking amongst themselves, and generally having either a fun or peaceful time. None of the really worked for Juno, however. She had come for a quiet place to read outdoors, but instead found a cavalcade of screaming children and annoying adults. There was hardly any chance that she would get any decent reading done here, and a small look of disappointment dawned on the pale woman’s face. Her icy blue eyes rolled over towards the living complex that was practically next door to the complex…or more accurately, the park was the complex’s backyard. Juno had planned to make a pit stop there and take a look around to see if it was any better then the last time she had scouted its walls looking for a place to live, but with her new feeling of disappointment weighing her down she began to wonder if it was worth it.

As if on cue, Juno’s phone made a quick and sharp Beep noise twice in quick succession. It was an alarm that notified Juno of an alert on her phone. Apparently, something she had been watching had just updated, and with a quick and easy flick of the wrist, Juno, phone in hand, was peering at her screen curiously as the page began to load.

A genuine smile split he face when it finally did, and quick jolts of pleasure started warming the normally indifferent or outright cold heart of the woman who leaned against the park gate. Juno had gotten a small subscription for the AFW ranking system, but not towards herself, nor to any allies she had made in the past few months…but rather to Cicilia De’Reignhardt…the woman who Juno wanted to wipe off the map like she never existed. Normally Juno was never the type to care even remotely about others, but Cicilia was something special, to the point that even Juno admitted she may have been a bit obsessed with the boxer…at least when it came to her misery. Juno had dug deep into the German’s history, learning about her family, her enemies, and even her precious lover that the boxer seemed to hide from the world. The two had clashed a few times before, with Juno almost overtaking her hated rival in their last encounter…though Juno worryingly could not remember what happened during their last fight.

The smile was simple schadenfreude at the German’s expense. The text had shown that Cicilia’s rating had dipped three more point since she last checked, the public slowly but surely turning against the woman after her violent and cruel fight Juno had seen with a little blonde girl whose name escaped Juno. The girl had stepped in for her friend who was attacked back stage by thugs, and accused Cicilia of orchestrating the whole thing to the entire public. The quick fuse of the boxer did little to help her case, and since that fight, Cicilia’s ratings had been in a nosedive, much to Juno’s pleasure. It was so much fun to imagine Cicilia opening up her little profile to see where she was, only to find that the entire world was turning against her day by day, pushing her further and further over the edge into a hate filled world the promised only jagged rocks of pain and loneliness.

I really should send that young blonde a thank you present…if it weren’t for her, I’d never get to see so may people turn on Cicilia in real time!

With her good mood restored, Juno decided to simply go and visit the living complex next to the park. Most of the residence were surely either at work or playing around in the very park Juno sat up against. She could give the compound a quick walkthrough and see who or what she could find living around there.

A few brisk steps, and Juno found herself in the buildings main yard, the building hardly changed from all those years she came visiting it when she was looking for a place to stay. Her icy eyes hovered over the structure, looking at the windows and the decorum that surrounded the building.

”Hmm….quaint.”

One of the window curtains was open, and for a split second there was someone walking by that caught Juno’s eye. It was a strange sight, one that Juno wasn’t even sure if she actually saw. Hey cold eyes stared at the window, waiting for the figure to appear again in a sick curiosity…like a predator watching the hiding place of its prey.

Juno could have sworn she saw a woman with lavender hair walk across her line of sight, and she waited patently to see if she was correct or if her eyes were simply playing tricks on her.

A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~ Empty Re: A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~

Post by Cicilia Mon Apr 22, 2019 12:33 am

Cicilia was on her phone for the better part of her walk home, one arm straining slightly with dozens of pounds of grocery bags in her grip, the other hand tapping away fanatically at the digital key-board as she texted. She walked on complete muscle-memory, recognizing the layout of her "neighborhood" front, backwards and sideways, not at all hindered by her multitasking.

Me: I'm on my way home now, Sayumi
Me: I have a whole bunch of things that'll make the next few days easier X0

The frown upon her face only deepened as she texted words of assurance to her girlfriend.. even while she wasn't getting any back... She was probably asleep and all, just trying to burn off some of the sick that had been infesting her. ...But what if she wasn't...? What if Sayumi wasn't responding because she was in some kind of fever state that has her completely immobilized and suffering!? What if she was hacking her lungs out and didn't have the strength to get up and grab some water from the bathroom down the hall!?

What if...
What if....

"Nh....Stop..." She growled to herself, flinching away from her own anxieties, desperate to make these agonizing feelings go away... She couldn't stand seeing her most precious in pain... and she couldn't help but dwell on the darkest of possibilities every moment they were apart! She only wanted the best for her, for Sayumi to live a life of perfection... or as perfect as someone as hurt, scarred and pained as Cicilia could hope to offer... She only wanted to...

"H-huh...?" Something wasn't right. Out of her peripheral vision, a familiar... unwanted color flashed into her vision.. one she had sen when she was shopping back at the store... There, standing before her own apartment complex... was the very woman he was hoping had disappeared from her life...

Cicilia's first instinct was fear, her eyes widening, the German very nearly dropping her phone, her hand was trembling so much! A cold sweat ran down the side of her face as she observed the nurse looking up curiously into the higher floors... seemingly into the only one obscured by the typical curtains... HER room...

"You..."
Cicilia growled, stuffing her phone into her pocket and pointing at the nurse, her voice loud... sharp... Unmistakable who it was meant for. It seemed her second instinct had kicked in to disguise the first, a seething, boiling mask of anger... desperate to distract Juno from her apartment window. "What are you... doing here!?"

A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~ Empty Re: A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~

Post by Tarantulust Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:03 pm

Juno’s curiosity always seemed to get the better of her, even when she was a child. The entire reason she began to show any interest in the human body was simple curiosity as to what exactly her parents did at work, which had developed into how the human body worked. Her unnatural inquisitiveness had gotten her into various forms of trouble, but it also granted her a wide knowledge on various subjects, as well as teach her how to properly lie in order to mitigate said consequences.

The window she had been watching for the past few minutes earned her no second glance at who resided inside. In fact, all the happened afterwards was the person inside drew the curtains, hiding themselves from the outside world. Juno clicked her tongue in annoyance as she summarized, she had wasted a few minutes of her precious time all because the person wouldn’t imply walk by the window again. Her cruel arrogance made it so she thought the other person was completely in the wrong, and now to satisfy Juno’s nagging curiosity, she would have to go up there and physically check on the resident. A lie had already been created and a persona chosen to get her up there with reasonable success. Few would doubt a woman like Juno judging by looks alone.

She began to walk further into the complex, looking to head up towards the apartment she had her eye on, when she heard a faintly familiar noise.

Bags…or more precisely, plastic bags. It seems someone was coming around the corner after doing a bit of shopping.

Rather then stir up suspicion, Juno stopped her advance and found her self a wall to lean against. She was sure that whoever the person was they would likely just walk on by her without even noticing. Even if they did, the chances of them speaking to her were even slimmer. Few people had the time to chit-chat with the heft amount of grocery bags this person was audibly carrying. But, like all good liars, she had a simple story to hide behind should someone ask her what she was doing. Juno would be a simple friend looking to pick someone up, and waiting for them to come on down so they could leave. Simple, quick, and believable.

However, despite her incredible ability to falsify even the simplest of truths, when it came to people the ice-cold woman often found herself speaking her mind towards them in the most cutthroat manner. In a sense, her ego made it so she would only ever lie about her situation, rather than her feelings towards others. Thus, if by some miracle the person persisted, she would not hesitate using more intimidating methods to get her way.

The person rounded the corner, and Juno avoided eye contact, keeping her back towards the person in order to completely cut them off from any form of communication. Her body language made it clear she was not interested in talking to the newcomer. With any luck, they would take the hint and leave her be.

But the response was the last thing she ever expected. The tone ripped through the silence like a wild animal’s claws rip through flesh. The tone was as jagged and hateful as a demon, those few words dripping with such acidic venom Juno’s natural instincts made her lurch forward and spin around, creating some distance between the unknown hostile, her hand already moving for the weapon inside her coat. Her entire attention was on the origin point of the animalistic tone…but she still had trouble believing who it was.

”…Cicilia…?”

Juno moved even faster for the weapon, tugging it out to reveal a high voltage stun baton and actually letting it discharge for a second, letting both of them know it was still charged and ready to give whom ever came close a nice jolt. Juno’s normally icy gaze barley held together, cracks of befuddlement and fear showing up in her eyes, her body language going from relaxed but cut off to tight and cautious.

Juno’s eyes finally narrowed into icicles in the face of Cicilia’s familiar expression of anger and hatred, her own gaze sending familiar chills towards the war machine as she watched for any movements the boxer might make, looking for an excuse to use her weapon on her hated enemy.

”Already licked all of your wounds from last time, eh? I suppose a flea-bitten cur like you would be used to pain and neglect…”

The eyes slowly went from Cicilia’s face down to the contents in her hands…grocery bags. Juno recognized some of the contents inside…Ginger, lemons, soup broth and medicine.

Juno’s eyes widened ever so slightly, casting a look first at Cicilia, and then the building behind Juno. Juno looked back at her foe, though her look seemed more puzzled then even she realized. The nurse was slowly connecting the dots, though she seemed to still be in shock with her sudden encounter.

”Wait a minute…no, that can’t be right…”

A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~ Empty Re: A Threat Confronted!-The beginning of the end~

Post by Cicilia Mon Apr 22, 2019 9:01 pm

...Okay... She wasn't expecting Juno to have a weapon...

Well, that wasn't exactly true. She thought someone like her would have a knife or a club of some sort, something illegal... yet obtainable in Japan... But a fucking ELECTRIC BATON!? Cicilia reflexively took a step back as the nurse flicked it open and on, the electric buzz RIPPING into the air as it's voltage declared it's hunger for carnage!... She had no idea where this woman could get... or even MAKE such a thing! She didn't even think the police had access to such weapons and yet... Here Juno was, flaunting it out in the open like it was Christmas with a new toy! One mistake... one faulty swing... or accurate one, and the thing she touched would get as much voltage as a taser give or take a few hundred watts! Instantly, the German dropped her bags, lifting her arms up into a boxing stance in reflex to Juno's sudden aggression, the German's eyes flaring up as she stared down one of her worst rivals.

The two women stared down one another like the polar opposites they were, Cicilia's volcanic hatred and Juno's glacial contempt meeting one another with as much force as two polar opposites could. The tension between them... it was so palpable, one could almost see the air warp between their gazes, Juno's slowing the movement of air with her chilling, icy death-presence, the German speeding it up as the flames of her rage manifested... Juno would speak first, ignoring the boxer's question and instead mocking her for the outcome of their last fight...

"Drop. The damn. Weapon."

The boxer's eyes were instantly drawn to Juno's baton... She had to find a way to get that out of her hands... Toss it into traffic or down a sewer-drain... Anything to keep her from picking it up again... Meanwhile, Juno's eyes were flicking back down towards the boxer's groceries... and up at her window...

...She's figuring it out... Damn it! The German cursed silently in her mind... While Juno was distracted looking up, seemingly contemplating the nature of Cicilia's window, the boxer RUSHED at her full speed, aiming to SLAM her shoulder HARD into Juno's chest, ramming her into the nearby apartment wall! If she managed to connect with Juno, the boxer's hands would QUICKLY shoot up to the nurse's wrists, aiming to PIN them against the brick so that she could not whack her with the damn thing!

Juno also seemed to not account for the numerous people watching this go down... having seen Juno pull out something so... dangerous against Cicilia. She wouldn't look like a hero this time... nothing less than someone threatening someone else with a weapon.

The world seemed to slow to a crawl as Juno once again was led on a personal tour of hell in the form of Cicilia’s hateful gaze. The two women hardly said a word, but the sad fact was they had come to know each other well enough that words were no longer needed. Both of them were well aware of their desire to get rid of one another in the most painful way possible, and their gaze’s each held a promise of violent retribution for past actions they had done to each other. It seemed the only reason neither of them was initiating the violence was because of the sheer shock both of them were going through. Juno had not expected her most hated enemy to come walking around the corner, and in her panic, she drew a weapon that may not have been appropriate for the public eye.

Still, Juno was not too focused on civilians at the moment. Not when a threat like Cicilia stood only a few feet away. What exactly was the German doing here? It was a question that popped right into Juno’s head the second she recognized her, and despite the danger they both presented, she simply could not ignore the question. Thoughts kept running through Juno’s head as she tried to process what exactly was going on, looking for any plausible explanation but too distracted to focus on any of the solutions she came up with.

She cast a glance over towards the building. It had a few security cameras peppered in various spots. As Juno was creating a hypothesis, Cicilia moved in at full steam, the nurse just barely craning her head in time to notice. The electric baton came sizzling to life, cooking the air around as Juno sent a panicked jab towards the oncoming onslaught, her aim proving to be just reckless enough to miss, simply cooking a few strands of Cicilia’s hair that managed to fly into the baton’s maw.

Juno grunted in pain as Cicilia dug her shoulder into the nurse’s chest, slamming her into a nearby brick wall and earning a sharp cry of pain as Juno’s skull impacted the against the wall. Without a second to catch her breath, Juno felt the boxer’s powerful arms seize her wrists in a familiar, unbreakable grip! Try as she may, Juno knew there was no release…not when she was pinned against a wall in a long dress. The only thing insuring no further violence was, ironically, the stun baton. So long as Juno held it tight, Cicilia would not risk letting go to strike her, and so long as she never let go, Juno was stuck…a stalemate, of sorts.

”Let…Go!” Juno growled, knowing full well the boxer would never do such a thing. What was once a nice day off was quickly devolving into something far worse. The situation was already spiraling out of control, and all Juno wanted to do was go home…

Home~

The cold voice in Juno’s head seemed to give her the final piece of the puzzle she was looking for the entire time. As Juno looked over at the bag of groceries and recognized the logo of the store just down the road, everything began to click together to form a rather cosmic picture. The woman she hated the most, despised for months and the subject of her recent collection of nightmares lived just down the road from her.

The entire thing made Juno want to vomit in disgust.

“You live here, don’t you?” Juno’s eye’s stared deep into Cicilia’s, cutting right into the center like a drill digging for oil, “Which means your little pet, Sayumi is around here too…I thought I recognized her.”

Juno made a point to stare directly at the window where she had seen the lavender hair woman, the blinds still drawn, moving ever so slightly as the air conditioner invisibly caressed the fabric. When her eyes returned to Cicilia, they were as cold and merciless as ever.

“I know a few people who might want to poke around your home. Cicilia. Can you imagine it? Coming home to after a long day, and finding not your lover there waiting to greet you…but instead, someone like that psychopath, Alexia? Or perhaps a round of men in black, looking to add a few more scars and hospital bills to your person?”

The atmosphere around Juno was beginning to fade from cold to an inky black void, a chill of a different kind consuming the air around the two women as Juno’s eyes seems to reshape themselves so very slowly that one may not even notice unless they stared deep into those violent pupils. Slowly, her sneer began to reshape itself into a familiar smile, one that seemed a little too kind to be real.

“What do you think they would do to Sayumi in the meantime?~”

"Shut UP!" Cicilia roared in Juno's face as she demanded release! "Where the hell do you get off, huh...? Pulling out a fucking weapon on ME!? If it wasn't illegal, I'd... I'd...." kill you. She completed silently, keeping the end of that statement to herself... She couldn't believe it... Even after she had Juno pinned against a wall, even after seeing her so CLOSE to her home... It was all too much... it was too MUCH! There was so much emotion running through her, each one mixing and merging to the point that she didn't know exactly how she felt! The Cold-grip of fear melted and fused with her burning, lava-like rage, mixing into an impossible brew that made discovering her own feelings a challenge! All she knew was that she had to keep this woman from getting any closer... and to keep that damn baton out of commission!

"You live here, don't you...?"

The German froze, not at all responded to Juno's question.... Her silence was answer enough as the most disgusting part of the nurse reared it's repulsive dome, the nurse causally remarking that if THIS was where she lived... Sayumi must be near by as welll!

"I swear to god, Juno... Don't say another word...." The boxer trembled, quaking like a leaf as the lid upon her pot-of-feelings began to rattle... And the Nurse only casually turned up the heat even more! Why not add more fuel to this fire by making threats... threats against the one and only pure and precious woman in this world! Cicilia's mind blanked out in fear, anxiety, outrage and frustration... There was nothing she could do if.... when Juno got out of this... She could EASILY round up anyone she wanted and send them here... and there was NOTHING SHE COULD DO! NOTHING! SHE... SHE...

"SHUT UUUUUUP!" Cicilia screamed, her voice TEARING at the insidious, sharp jabs Juno had made at her, desperate to block them out! "I'LL KILL YOU BEFORE I LET THAT HAPPEN!! DO YOU HEAR ME!?" She lifted Juno UP of the ground ever so slightly, still pinning her against the wall! "YOU WILL NEVER TOUCH HER! I WON'T LET YOU!" Cicilia's grip around Juno's wrists went from tight.... to IRON CLAMP, the strength she was using unknown to the German... but strong enough to snap bone! She was going to do it... She could easily do it in this state! It would be so easy..... Like breaking a tooth-pick...
