It's All About Strikes

When Charlotte was released and thrown off Alaina’s knee on the mat, the girl involuntarily rolled to the side and remained lying on her back for several seconds. Her breasts rosing and falling heavily, and there was still a terrible pain in her back. Charlotte usually preferred to dodge a hits rather than accept them.

“Get up...” - the girl thought.

She rolled onto her stomach and climbed to all fours. Then, taking a deep breath, Sand Lizard rose to her feet, but at the same moment she was forced to fall back on one knee. It seems that her back was damaged a little more than she expected. The inexhaustible power of the Amazon took care of this. When Charlotte got to her feet, pain pierced her back and because of this the pink-haired girl was dizzy.

Sand Lizard was about to gather her thoughts when she suddenly felt that she was being lifted into the air again. The girl did not even have time to fully understand what was happening, how she again appeared on Alaina’s shoulders.

The Frenchwoman’s head was clearly not happy with the fact that the Amazon began to spin. Because of this, Charlotte lost orientation in space, everything happened too quickly. It seemed that she was ready to gather strength and do something before Alaina decided to finish what she started. But this time it was too late. After all, the American girl stopped, and then fell on her back. And the main problem was that Sand Lizard was right under her.

- Grraaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! - the girl cried out loudly, while her eyes widened.

Even being crushed by Alaina’s body, Charlotte made several involuntary jerks. Her back burned with a flame that was filled with pain. She had not yet had time to recover after falling to the knee of her rival, but now everything was even worse. The body of Sand Lizard became limp, and she remained lying under Alaina, closing her eyes and trying to breathe as evenly as possible in order to put herself in order.

Although at this point in time, her affairs were very far from order. The Amazon was clearly heavier than Charlotte, and after such a powerful samoan drop, the slimmer body of the pink-haired girl did not seem able to continue this struggle.

It seemed that Charlotte's affairs were not going very well. And that was the truth. She was not too good at taking such heavy moves. And now she could only try to recover as soon as possible.

“Concentration... breathe evenly, all power is in the breath”, - she reminded herself mentally.

If the Amazon attempted to make a pin, Sand Lizard would probably have a better chance of a speedy recovery because every second was important to her. However, the Frenchwoman felt Alaina rise to her feet. On the one hand, it was a relief because now this body did not press the pink-haired girl to the mat. However, this was a false relief, because Charlotte was not a fool and realized that now something else would follow.

And she was right, because after just a moment the incredible Amazon grabbed the master of martial arts and lifted her on shoulders again. Charlotte opened her eyes and realized that her rival was heading for the ropes. It could only mean that she would fall again and this time she was not sure that her back would withstand another throw after such a short interval. Concentration. Breathe evenly. All power is in the breath. Charlotte took a deep, smooth breath. She was a fighter. And she was not going to give up. Even in the face of such a strong opponent as Alaina.

- No! - the Frenchwoman said harshly.

Her fists clenched, she was gathering strength. Sand Lizard bent her arm at the elbow and pulled it as far as possible. After that she send a crushing elbow strike directly into Alaina's temple! But that was not all, Charlotte was not going to lose her chance of release, and she was ready to do everything so as not to be under the Amazon again. She was going to make another elbow strike, and so that Alaina’s skull would let her know that she was doing bad business now, Charlotte was determined to jerk her leg and hit her opponent with knee strike into the temple from the other side of her head! She had to free herself, and she would do it!

Reality does not always coincide with expectation. In this case, Charlotte hoped that Alaina would simply lose her grip and that the pink-haired girl could be on her feet. However, she saw in all its glory how the Amazon moved to the ropes. The master of martial arts already knew what was coming next.

“Not on back!” - she thought.

The Frenchwoman barely managed to exhale and somehow group herself so as not to fall on her damaged back, but on her left side. However, unfortunately, this did not mean that she had avoided the damage. After the fall, Charlotte moaned strangled, remaining a few moments to lie motionless. It seemed to her that her left hand, which had the main blow due to the fall, was now terribly sick, the girl had a feeling that her bones were broken.

The students who were around stood still, shocked by what had happened. Charlotte opened her eyes, turning on her stomach, kneeling and putting her right hand to her left hand. Damn it, it hurt. Flashback flashed before her eyes. In a Chinese monastery she was beaten with sticks on her hands so that she could learn to endure pain. And now she was grateful for those hard training.

Her head was still spinning, and her whole body was already heavy, as if she were chained with steel chains, preventing her from acting freely. She glanced at Alaina, who was lying nearby. Damn it, this former champion was a strong opponent.

- One! - said Charlotte, recalling that they play by the standard rules and that they cannot be outside the ring.

She tried to get to her feet, but realized that it would be difficult for her to do so. She glanced at the edge of the ring.

- Two!

Charlotte reached with the left hand to the edge of the ring to find support for herself.

- Three!

The support was found, she need only rise to her feet. But that damn left hand hurt too much!

- Four!

She intended to use her second hand. Clutching the edge of ring with both hands, Charlotte took a deep breath and one jerk to her feet. She staggered a little because her head began to spin again due to such a sharp rise, but she stood on her feet, trying to drive away her damn dizziness.

- Five... - she exhaled, not opening her eyes.

- Fucking six... - said Charlotte, trying to breathe as deep as possible.

She did not even have a clue what was happening behind her, now she needed only one thing - to return to the ring. The pink-haired girl tried to pull herself together. She opened her eyes and reached for the bottom rope. She could, she was sure, even despite this damn pain in her hand!

- Sev... - she began to pronounce.
- Master, - sounded somewhere on the side.
- What? - Charlotte asked, turning her head to the student who had called her.

The student silently pointed somewhere off to the side. Charlotte looked with a little perplexed in the direction indicated to her. And there was Alaina, who was trying to get up with the help of a table that was nearby, but still far enough from the ring to have time to return before the countdown ended. It seems that the Amazon got from the fall no less than Charlotte, if not more.

“Victory is victory, right, sister?” - sounded in the head of Sand Lizard.

For a few moments, the martial artist seemed to be disconnected from reality. She understood why the student called her. She herself taught them this. Such a victory will not be worthy. But... this is a victory over one of the veterans ...

“Come on, get back in the ring, Charlotte”, - the other person’s voice in his head didn’t calm down.

The Frenchwoman bit her lower lip, raised her straightened palms to her chest, and then lowered them down. She took a deep inhale and then a deep exhale, although for a moment she frowned slightly, as if she had eaten a whole lemon. Inside, there was a struggle between what was right and what she really wanted. The girl leaned her back to the bottom of the ring.

- I propose to continue another time, - she said towards the Amazon, overcoming her desire - and now let’s stop at a friendly draw.

After these words, the Frenchwoman was going to approach Alaina and extend her hand in order to help her up, if she had not done it yet, or for a usual handshake, if she was already on her feet.
