[Standard Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs Georgia Flynn - The road forward is never easy

Charlotte has always been distinguished by her firmness of spirit. Many of those who knew her closely enough were aware that she was constantly in doubt about certain things. Having come a very long way, the Frenchwoman is still trying to find answers to the questions that were in her soul. But in the ring, she never doubted. In the ring, she discards all dilemmas and contradictions. Here she was a real fighter only, no more, no less.

And that's why she never doubted her decisions in the ring. Do or do not. But never doubt. It was one of her principles. The pink-haired woman tried to follow the path of a real fighter. And a real fighter should not doubt their decisions. Why? Because anyone can doubt about the actions of the fighter. But if the fighter themselfs doubts their decisions, then this is the end. Doubts lead to only one thing. To defeat. Therefore, Charlotte never doubted.

She made a quick decision and her body started moving by itself. It was instincts. The young woman shifted the center of gravity and sent a kick to her opponent's head. Despite the fact that Georgia tried to get away from the line of attack, it did not save her. The Sand Lizard's foot crashed into the head of the Irish-American woman. And the force of this kick was enough for Georgia to roll over and remain lying on her back, showing no signs of movement.

Charlotte took a deep breath and jumped to her feet to loud applause from the audience. The victory on the Avalanche inspired her. She entered into a rivalry with the Amazon only to prove that talent is much more important than the number of matches. Charlotte's goal was to show that a promising newcomer can surpass a veteran. And now she was close to that goal. The match on the Avalanche was great and this victory gave her the way forward. She got a chance and now she couldn't stop. Neither in this match, nor in subsequent ones.

"Breathing, watch your breathing," she mentally reminded herself.

The pink-haired woman was going to grab her rival by the hand and pull her up in order to force Georgia to her feet. Many still believed that Charlotte was only a striker. And every time she reminded them that she uses several martial arts at once in combination with pro-wrestling. This made her a truly unique and versatile fighter. In order to deprive Georgia of the opportunity to resist, she was going to send a right knee strike to her opponent's stomach!

Thus, she wanted not only to deprive the brunette of air, but also to make her lean forward. This was necessary in order for the Sand Lizard to try to wrap her arms around Georgia's neck, fixing a side headlock hold! If she didn't have a problem with that, then the audience would probably start making noise. They knew this move because it was one of Charlotte's favorite moves. And they really were right. Because the Frenchwoman was determined to take a few wide steps forward, pulling Georgia behind her before making a leap forward. She was going to send her opponent's head into the mat with a heavy running bulldog!

It was difficult for Charlotte to compare that feeling with anything. Traveling around the world, she got acquainted with different peoples and from each of them she adopted one or another martial art. Following the path of a real fighter, she devoted her life to self-development. Strict discipline and adherence to traditions were her constant companions. But now, as she pushed off the mat to get into the air, the Frenchwoman felt something she couldn't describe.

Only in the ring that she felt truly alive. Someone could probably find endless training sessions and matches something exhausting and even boring. But the Sand Lizard really enjoyed honing her skills. She's been doing this for the last seven years of her life. But when she was in the AFW ring, everything changed for her.

The Sand Lizard has never considered pro wrestling as a separate martial art before. But when she decided to join this federation and started new training, it was as if she took a step towards a new world. She realized that it was in pro wrestling that she had a chance to do what she had dreamed of all her life. It was in pro wrestling that martial arts could be combined into something new, something beautiful. It was in pro wrestling that Charlotte got the opportunity to realize her full potential.

Pro wrestling moves, combined with her set of martial arts, took her to a new level. She felt that she was much stronger than before. Because of this she wasn't afraid to enter into a rivalry with the Amazon. Because of this she wasn't afraid to look ahead. Because of this she had no fear in her heart. After the beginning of her career, she became more confident in herself both as a fighter and as a person. And she knew she was willing to go through anything to get to the top.

When Georgia's face crashed into the mat, the arena was once again filled with loud screams. Previously, the Frenchwoman did not care about such things as popularity and the like. But, having felt the support and love of the audience, she became different. After she was kicked out of the family, her heart turned cold. But thanks to those who supported her, she felt the warmth in her soul again. She used to fight only because it was her way of self-development. But that wasn't the only reason she was fighting now. Now she was fighting because she wanted to meet their expectations.

"And I will," she thought.

Glancing at her opponent, who covered her face in agony, Charlotte planned the next step. She didn't want to waste time getting to her feet, and besides, the Irish-American woman was in an almost perfect position right now. Every fighter should be able to use the moment, so without delay, the Sand Lizard was going to grab Georgia's hand.

Charlotte intended to extend her opponent's right arm to the side in order to wrap both legs around this arm. And if she succeeded, then she would put both palms on the face of the Irish-American woman, joining them in a lock. The rest was just a matter of technique. Because Charlotte intended to lean back in order to start pulling her opponent's upper body in the opposite direction, locking her in an arm-trap crossface hold!

Georgia's scream filled Charlotte's ears, making her wince slightly. She wasn't the kind of person who took pleasure in hurting other people. However, the Frenchwoman believed in one thing. If you entered the ring, then you have to be ready to go through any difficulties. Her goal was to become an example for all future generations of fighters. And so there was no regret in Charlotte's heart. In the ring, everyone strives for victory and she was no exception.

Therefore, she strongly strained her legs in order to prevent the Irish-American woman from using her arm, and she also strained her arms no less strongly in order to exert significant pressure both on her opponent's head and on her entire upper body. At first it seemed that Georgia was confused because of such severe pain. But quickly enough, the brunette was able to pull herself together. Instead of trying to break Charlotte's hold by force, she chose another path and this path led her to the ropes.

"Phhhh..." Charlotte puffed.

Her opponent clearly had great strength of spirit. Despite the fact that the Frenchwoman was not the heaviest woman in the world, she knew for sure that Georgia had to put a lot of effort into continuing to crawl forward. The brunette could not use one of her hands, and Charlotte's weight was putting a lot of pressure on her. But even in such difficult conditions, this woman aspired to freedom. The Sand Lizard had respect for such fortitude.

But that didn't mean she was going to make it easy for Georgia. Taking as much air as possible into her lungs, Charlotte intended to lean back even more in order to put more pressure on her opponent's face and upper body. Intuition told her that the brunette would not give up. However, the Sand Lizard was going to weaken her opponent, because this could give an advantage in the later stages of the match.

"Rope break, let her go!" the referee commanded.

Charlotte was concentrating so hard on the hold that she didn't even notice that Georgia had already reached the ropes. As soon as the brunette grabbed the bottom rope, the audience screamed loudly, clearly supporting the willpower of the Irish-American woman. And Charlotte was in solidarity with them. As soon as the referee gave the command, she immediately relaxed her arms and legs, freeing her opponent.

"Mon respect," she said softly.

The pink-haired woman was about to get to her feet. With a brief glance at her opponent, she would take a few steps towards the center of the ring. Should she have continued the offensive immediately after she released the brunette? Perhaps, because it was not a violation of the rules. But the Sand Lizard was a stickler for sporting respect. And so she intended to give Georgia all the necessary time so that the Iranian-American woman could get to her feet unhindered.
