Ashley Diamond vs Kazuma Satou - Last one Standing

Match Type: Last woman/man Standing
Victory conditions: The match ends if the opponent doesn’t manage to get up by the 10 count.

It was that time again. To prepare for one more match, after all it has been a while since the last one. Maybe too long… but she didn’t take the time and simply stayed idle. Ashley couldn’t allow that and so trained everyday. Last thing that she wanted was to grow weak, waiting for a new opportunity, and so kept training, at home, outside in the parks, or even at the gym. Maybe she was too focused, but couldn’t help but take one day off from time to time.The british girl just didn’t want to get caught off guard, after all this was all to prove that she was to show that she was strong enough to take care of herself.

After some time, Ashley was pretty much the one that almost had to ask if they could get something, but eventually it all came together. Maybe it took a while, but it was finally about to happen. A few days later, the lady-like soldier reached the main building and upon entering, quickly made way to the locker room to ready-up for the match.

Putting down her sports bag, before starting to take out her outfit. Starting off with her green leotard, and then following with the body harness, her big boots, leg strap and her iconic small red hat.

Attire:

Ashley normally likes to arrive sooner in preparation, she is very strict with rules and so arrives much sooner than the time given. From very young, she was convinced to follow rules, orders and other ideas set by her parents and thus learned to try to obey them. This at least gives her time to warm up, doing some stretches and taking this opportunity to cover some info about the opponent, and it seemed a bit weird, but she wasn’t quite used to everyone and how weird they could be, so maybe it was a bit too early for her to judge…

Entrance Music:

Minutes later, Ashley came out of the room straight to where the ring was set. She didn’t waste a second getting there and was about to immediately enter, if she hadn’t been told to wait by some staff as they were still preparing. Only then she was given the signal to enter, as her theme blasted off and she began to walk down the ramp. She greeted the public, raising her hand in her direction as a quick greeting and with a warm smile, before looking somewhere else to greet another side and so on, while on a calm slow walk to the ring.

Reaching there Ashley, moved in-between the ropes and carefully got in. She took a better look around as she was right in the middle of everything to appreciate the view. While she wasn’t one to show off, she couldn’t help but have to do a little pose to show her body and her muscles even if they weren’t that big compared other competitors, and she did looked a bit silly doing that, but she remembered her mom’s advice “if you had to show off, you shouldn’t be embarrassed of doing so.”. While this did help, she couldn’t help but be slightly embarrassed by all that. It did only last a few seconds, before Ahsley moved to her side, waiting for her opponent.

Kazuma:

 

Kazuma looked himself over as he prepared in the locker room. For the first time since coming here to AFW, Kazuma was taking part in a Last man/woman match against a young lady by the name of Ashley Diamond. He looked over at a monitor in the men's locker room and saw his opponent for the evening and couldn't resist giving a small whistle. "Damn! She's a cutie." He said to himself, it certainly didn't hurt that she was wearing a tight, formfitting green leotard. As much as he would've of loved to perhaps do something lewd to her in this match he could tell from the somewhat embarrassed look on her face, that she was probably not looking to have that kind of "fun" in this match. So he would, somewhat begrudgingly, do his best to keep that part of him un check in this Last Man/Woman Standing match.

"Well, can't keep the young lady waiting." Kazuma would make his way out from the men's locker room and out to the gorilla position. Once he was behind the curtain, his music would play and he'd emerge from behind the curtain and be welcomed into the arena by a wave of cheering fans. Kazuma would wave to the fans and start making his way down the ramp, his eyes carefully examining Ashley's somewhat flustered figure, noticing her body beginning to straighten up as he got closer.

Once he was at ringside he'd slide into the ring beneath the bottom rope and give the people an arm raised pose on the top of one of the corners before turning to Ashley. "Nice to meet you, I'm Kazuma." He casually greeted her, "I hope we have a good match and just in case let me apologize to you now in advance, incase I accidentally do something lewd."

Ashley couldn’t help but wonder how her opponent was. At least now it was a guy, however there isn’t much a simple info check could do, what he looked like, how was his personality, tactics besides the ones a quick look could give. She was curious, how could she compare with him, was she stronger, weaker, were they even? This is something someone might wonder while waiting to fight someone, but that is normal, she assumed. But the best she could do was wait.

Fortunately didn’t have to wait any longer, as he emerged from behind the curtain and made his way down the ramp. The entrance was rather simple and the British woman respects that while also giving a chance to take a glance at him. He didn’t seem physically strong, but looks could be deceiving, besides he could still be quite fast or even have some sort of style that allowed to counter her moves in some manner.

The man looked at her, Ashley already been eyeing since he was arriving, but this was probably the first time their eyes locked. Being greeted by Kazuma, made immediately her good manners spark forwards wanting to greet him back. “I’m Ashley, nice to meet you too.” However… upon hearing the rest of the introduction made her go silent, a bit shocked even.

It just was a small amount of worriness, but for her it was maybe a bit uncomfortable. What did he mean with “Accidently”? Can’t he control himself or does his body end up in weird positions? A fight might happen, but couldn’t he avoid those moments normally? At the very least she had a warning about possible indecent moments happening from him. She tried to hold her disgust from the thought, but she had to deal with it, it was her problem after all. She startled seeing him continue to stare at her, feeling bad that she didn’t reply yet, lost of her thoughts. “I h-hope that too…” She said, staying on her side, looking at him waiting for a the sound that would commence their fight.

The moment his "advanced apology" came out of his mouth Kazuma could instantly notice how mentally distressed that Ashley was. The thing about having his kind of luck was that it wasn't always necessarily good, sometimes a simple trip alone would end up with him bumping into someone, a girl more often than not, and ending up in a position with them that shouldn't have been even remotely possible. Thankfully he had managed to avoid any such situations thus far here in AFW but that did not mean he wasn't due for such a moment eventually...... with that said though, her reaction also told Kazuma that there was something he could take advantage of.

As long as she thought there was a chance of something lewd happening to her in this match, then she would always approach him with a decent amount of caution and hesitation which in a last woman/man standing match like this, could give him some needed breathing room incase she got a good shot in. Kazuma take a couple of quick hops in his corner and soon enough the bell would ring, signaling the beginning of the match. Kazuma would come out of the corner and circle the center of the ring, waiting to see what Ashley would do first.

The only reaction she could immediately give was of shock and disgust. Ashely wasn’t used to such things as “lewd”, at least yet. This was all quite new to her, a new point of view about it all, expecting to fight once she got to AFW, but it turned out to be more complicated than it seemed, as this perspective was shown upon her. She wasn’t prepared for this type of stuff, something she didn’t train for.

But perhaps she was being a bit too harsh, after she was the one that was on the wrong here. After all this was her job now, fighting for others entertainment in matches with weird gimmicks sometimes, but this was something the British woman had to get used to. Might just take some time for that to happen…

Watching Kazuma come out of his corner, she quickly did the same and started to carefully circling around just like her opponent. Not wanting to immediately approach for safety, trying to predict any move, but nothing came out. This was a patience game, the opponent waiting for the other to attack, but inevitably one has to give in and start, and Ashley was that person, as she took the first step forwards, her body tensing up with anticipation, as she needed to be quick, in order to give as less time to react even though he might be ready and thus proceeded with a fast approach. Once close, she would raise her leg before shooting a roundhouse kick to the side of his chest, aiming for his ribs, attempting to hit him.

Kazuma circled the ring with Ashley for what seemed like forever but was actually just a minute. Kazuma knew that this match could be a long one and any careless mistakes could be disastrous, so he needed to be patient. Unfortunately for him though, he was a bit too patient as Ashley decided to make the first of the match, launching a roundhouse kick into his ribs with surprising speed.

"Gah!" Kazuma grunted from the stinging pain of the kick to his side, clearly, she was far from just being a pretty face. This however gave Kazuma an opportunity to strike back at the English girl for going for a move like this in a match where Endurance was more than likely going to be the deciding factor. Kazuma would wrap one arm Ashley's leg before taking a quick step forward, coming in low to tackle her and wrap his other arm around her body. If he was successful, Kazuma would then lift her up and bring her back down with a thunderous slam!

In a fight certain moments could feel eternal, as if stopped in time, despite only being a few seconds or a few minutes. The thinking made by both parties, the plans, who attacks first, how to attack, how to defend and to counterattack. However, take too long and your turn might be skipped. Now if that was intended or not, it didn't matter for Ashley as for her it was an opportunity to strike and she wanted to take it for herself.

As her kick connected, she felt confident. Such a strike hitting always gives a good spirit to anyone. But perhaps was too soon to lower guard, as despite being a strong attack, that type in specific was also quite risky, as the British woman came to find out once her opponent grabbed her leg.

Kazuma taking a step forwards forced her to struggle with her balance, either hopping around trying to keep up or even almost falling down, but that wouldn’t take long, Ashley being immediately brought up high into the air, as she quickly panicked realizing her change in position. However that wouldn’t match the panic once Kazuma and gravity brought her down towards the mat with incredible force.

She crashes with force in her back, causing her to feel pain and thus arching in response, leaving her complaining about the pain, not noticing immediately what her opponent might have in store for her next.
