Any time she would go inside a cage or a ring Hana would try to make that a positive and learning experience, no matter how hard the defeat could be. That makes her take her losses with a smile and an optimistic view of what she learnt that day. Concerning others she always try her best to end up in good terms with her rivals. She believes in fair play and good sportswomanship and would always try to honor the sport she partakes in. She highly dislikes treacherous fighters and would try too hard to punish those she might think are evil inside a ring.

Background: 
Hana was born the only daughter of the Tsugawa family. She never got to meet her mother since she regretfully passed away hours before delivering her to the world, but it wasn’t something that heavily affected her while growing as someone cannot miss something that had never experienced. Without a mother she quickly grew to become an energetic teenager, so full of energy she had to try any sport her high school could offer. She took part in tennis, trackfield and volleyball before she turned her attention to contact sports. Being captivated by mixed martial arts, Hana started enjoying every match she could get a pay per view ticket to. With time she ended up sneaking past her father’s always vigilant eye to join a gym and start her training, always in fear of being caught even despite being a full grown woman.

By the time her father noticed Hana’s hidden training regime he exploded in an outburst. He couldn’t be blamed after all, being a man that had lost his soulmate and now had his daughter putting her body on the line for some show. Seeing how zealously Hana tried to convince her father so she could keep going with her training the man almost regretted being so lax with his daughter’s upbringing, but in the end she would always be his weak spot. He accepted Hana’s training as long as she remained in the amateur scene, but the woman was actually good and she was already thinking about jumping to the big leagues.

Hana’s father had some plans for her though. It turned out the man was the CEO of a pretty powerful entertaining media company in Japan, and after pulling some strings he managed to sign a deal so Hana would join the AFW and leave her MMA ring. In her father’s book Hana would be safer practicing pro wrestling than MMA, and even if she was mad at first, she then realized she could always go for hardcore matches...
