Strategy/Style: Sonic is something of a glass cannon. His natural speed and flexibility allows him to dodge attacks fairly well, and his natural flexibility gives him some endurance in submission holds. However, his body is lean and skinny, lacking any real body fat, giving him very little protection against hard strikes and slams. As a result, his style focuses on trying to avoid attacks and overwhelm his opponents with lighter strikes and slams, hoping to weaken them and stun them, so that he can build up his speed to allow for more powerful, impactful, moves…unless of course, his opponent dodges said moves, which can cause him to crash and burn, creating a very high risk, high reward, style.

Finishing move/s:

Drop Dash: With an opponent laid out on the mat, Sonic climbs up to the turnbuckle, poses for the crowd, and leaps upward, before curling himself into a ball, making multiple rotations in the air as he drops down, uncurling right at the end to land back first onto the opponents stomach.

Spinball Dash: With his opponent laying against the bottom turnbuckle, Sonic retreats to the opposite corner, and grabs the ropes, running in place for several seconds to build up as much as speed as he’s able, then launches himself towards the opponent, flipping his body at the last moment to slam his back, hips, and ass into the opponent chest and face with a cannonball!

Hentai Finisher: Double Rush: Using all the speed he’s able to muster, Sonic runs back and forth in place, until he’s moving so quick, he creates a double of himself that appears to move independently, and the two Sonics first physically, then sexually, double team an opponent to orgasm and KO.

(Note: Due to SRW’s power limiting field in non-unleashed matches, this technique takes an immense amount of effort to pull off, and can’t be maintained for very long, forcing Sonic to try and end things quick. Fighters with good sexual endurance can outlast this however, which can find the hedgehog being left exhausted and weakened and easily taken down if he can’t secure a win with it from the start.)

Personality: Sonic is a cocky bastard, having complete confidence in his abilities. He loves to showboat for the audience and boast, and isn’t above throwing some taunts at his opponents to rile them up. That being said, it’s all meant in a friendly way, as Sonic enjoys the fights and enjoys getting the best out of his opponents and while he has no issue being pragmatic and taking his opponents out, he’ll always be the first to help them back onto their feet and congratulate them for their efforts, and while he dislikes losing, he knows how to be humble in defeat…as long as his opponent isn’t a jerk about it at least.

Outside of the ring, the hedgehog with the heart of gold is generally laid back and easy going, able to get along with almost anybody and find some kind of common ground. With a belief that life is all about personal freedom, he has a tendency to clash with authority figures and generally dislikes being told what to do, something that tends to irk the Head Warden of SRW. He also tends to be rather reckless and not do much planning ahead, throwing himself head first into situations, especially if it’s a situation where he can be helpful.

Past:  In an entirely different dimension, and world, far away from Gaea, there was an adventurous hedgehog blessed with incredible speed abilities, who took it upon himself to protect his home from the dangerous machinations of a human mad scientist, (with a fantastic mustache) on several ridiculous adventures, usually involving the smashing of robots and the saving of innocent animals.

On one of these adventures however…something different happened. Something involving a giant crystal of strange, allegedly mystical, dimensional, properties, that could be used as a power source perfect for mustached scientists…which MAY or may not have been blown up by missiles as it’s mystical energy was being activated, causing an…interesting reaction.

At least…that’s all Erizo can really remember of the incident.

While the relevant memories are extremely fuzzy, the end result of the situation was simple. Somehow, some way, the hedgehog was transported from his home and ended up on Gaea, crashing on the outskirts of Tsubar, where he was found by Wardens and brought to the Overseer for questioning.

Once he made it clear he had no idea how he had arrived on this strange planet, and had no ill intentions, The Overseer informed the hedgehog that Tsubar DID contain The Waygates, a way to access different dimensions, a potential way to send the hog back home…unfortunately, that would require Erizo to actually know what name his dimension would be called, or how to even recognize it through the waygates. With no way of knowing this information, the hedgehog was stuck, stranded in a world that was not his own.

With Erizo lacking any other viable options but to stay in place, he asked the Overseer for advice on what to do next. Realizing that the hedgehogs speed abilities would make easy to lose track of him, The Overseer made a simple decision: He offered Erizo a job, making him a Warden of SRW, and encouraging him to become a fighter in the league as well, where his abilities could be used to both protect, and entertain, the various creatures native and foreign to Tsubar.



Fun Facts:

For non-Unleashed matches, SRW’s power limiter field does limit Sonic’s speed, cutting him off from the upper limits of his speed and the special abilities his speed gives him. However, as his speed is a natural ability of his, he’s still incredibly quick, though not to where its unfair to his opponent.

Due to the unique nature of his arrival on Gaea and Tsubar, Sonic has been made a Warden specifically as a way for Eros and the Overseer to keep him around and keep tabs on him. While Sonic normally is anti-authority figures, the fact that the Wardens actually keep the people of Tsubar safe appeals to his heroic nature, and that, combined with having no idea where he is and needing their help to get home, allows him to work well with them.

“Erizo Azule” is a stage name, as while this world is entirely new to the hedgehog, the slim chance that his old mustached enemy also found his way to this world made Sonic decide to go by a different name in public, to avoid recognition, just in case.
