Lethe Cherry vs Duffy Macbain

Duffy was surprised as the beer bottle whizzed past Lethe's head. The momentum of the swing allowed Kethe to get the attack on her stomach and Duffy's eyes widened as it landed. Thabkfully, the soft stomach flesh absorbed the impact, reducing the effectiveness of the knucks, but a punch to the stomac hurt no matter what. She let out a gasp, the bottle in her hand, clanking to the ring. However, the Scot had a smile on her face as she panted. "Nae bad, lassy." She said and wouldtry and bring her arms upto clinch with Lethe. "But if ye think ye be th first ta sport kiddy gloves like that then ye be dafter than a Glasgow sheep herder!" If she managed the clinch, She would try and push Lethe backwards with her and ram her into the turnbuckle.

Lethe stepped towards Duffy as she got the blow to her stomach, and would try to cut off Duffy's taunt as soon as she looked up at her, and hoped to shut her up, and maybe even get Duffy to bite her own tongue if she was lucky, by hammering 'Bruiser' up hard into her jaw! Lethe wasn't the kind of girl to just allow someone to recover, or talk back to her. Once she had an advantage, she'd push it as hard and fast as she could, which was one of the reasons why she placed #1 in the tournaments she participated in. She spared no idle chatter once the match went underway, and that caught most off guard.

When Duffy saw Lethe going for the punch despite her clinch attempt, she adjusted and brought both her hands up to catch the punch. If she could do that, she would try and tug on the arm and pull Leth into a knee to the gut.

Lethe was surprised Duffy had the time to catch her punch, even while blabbing nonsense. She was pulled in towards the knee, and cringes as she's kneed in the gut, staggering back while trying not to make any pained noises. "Mh,,." As she took a couple steps back, she raised her fists back up, staring down the scout behind her fists.

Duffy stepped forward as Lethe tried to step back. Seemed like the girl wanted a real no nonsense fight. Duffy couldn't really trade punches with Lethe if she had those brass knuckles on so she had to try and stay close until she could find the right opening. She threw a straight jab at Lethe to try and break through her defenses, knowing she would have to punch through part of the knuckles as well.

Lethe narrowed her eyes as Duffy stepped in towards her, and would try for a backhand aimed for Duffy's cheek if she got in too close. This, however, left her open for the straight jab as well, if Duffy avoided her backhand. She would follow after Duffy if she managed to slap her with her brass knuckles, but if the punch nailed her, she'd stagger back, and hold her jaw where Duffy nailed her.

Duffy normally took as good as she gave and wasn't much for defense. She knew she had to be wary in this fight cause of the brass knuckels, but when she saw a slap coming instead of a punch she committed fully to the straight jab. She took the slap with a grunt, because of the knucks, it hurt about as much as a normal punch. She grunted and stumbled to the side and grin at Lethe. The scot was certainly having fun, but knew she had to press on. Shaking her head from the slap, sheinched forward again and aimed a punch at Lethe's chest.

When Lethe managed to knock Duffy away a couple of steps, she quickly went after her, and tried for a hook punch to her gut the same time she felt a punch nail her in the chest. She let out a breathless gasp, staggering back and coughing a little, but she raised her fists a couple seconds later, ready to keep going,

Duffy grunted as the fist sank into her belly. She coughed a bit and staggered back. "A dunna like this..." She said quietly to her self. She stepped back a few more steps and pulled her other bottle out. "Dunna pay nae mind ta me, lassie." She said as she twisted off the cap and brought the bottle to her lips for a deep drink, keeping a wide eye on Lethe as she did.

Lethe saw she had Duffy in a rough state as well, and then she saw her grabbing a bottle, and tried to dart towards her, attempting to punch the bottle out of her hand, maybe even break it with her brass knuckles, unaware of what the possible consequences might be of said action.
