Krystal Lee vs. Maya Vice

Krystal gave a smirk when she saw Maya approaching slowly this time. "Looks like it's my turn my turn then?" she jokingly asks in a rhetorical fashion. Krystal doesn't feel like going too crazy just yet, and will ball up her right hand into a fist and at her side like she was going to throw a uppercut at Maya's face as she started took the few steps to close the distance. However, a couple of steps out, she'll change it up, jumping off the canvas a bit and tucking her legs in to try her own hand at a dropkick, though hers will be aimed for Maya's belly.

Maya prepared herself watching Krystal as the girl looked like she was coming in for an uppercut she instinctively got prepared to move and counter the attack. Though as the girl jumped up in the air Maya brought her leg up her body turning over quickly as she used a side kick to try and actually knock the girl back mid air with her sheer leg strength.

Krystal couldn't do anything as Maya's kick slammed into her hip while she was in the air. She tries to hold down a cry in pain from the strength of the kick as her momentum gets kicked sideways enough to completely miss Maya and hits the mats hard, not being able to compensate for the abrupt change in her trajectory. Krystal gives a grunt from the hard landing on her side, but knows she has to do something about Maya's leg strength. Though it'll take her a quick second before she acts, she hopes she can quickly kick her legs to spin herself around and attempt to sweep Maya's legs out from under her before Maya can cash in on the short time she'll be down before she makes her move.

Maya let out a yeep as her legs were swept out from under her causing her to fall backwards towards the mat like she had did to Krystal before hand. Though like her opponent she was able to fall but roll back to her right trying to create some space between her and the girl. She would try to stop the roll crouched down on both her feet hopefully not being attacked by her opponent.

Krystal wanted to do her best to try to use the sweep to her advantage, but when she finished her quick spin to face her sparring partner, she noticed the girl doing the same thing that she herself did earlier. Krystal will lightly pound her fists on the mat in frustration as she slowly gets into a crouching position herself with a smirk. "Not bad," she'll jokingly remark as she stays low and will begin to circle Maya.

Maya smiled lightly at her opponent moving in to a low stance staying level with Krystal as she began to move with the other girl keeping her in front of her. "Thanks, not bad yourself" she said smiling still as she thought about her next move not sure how to best approach her next move but thinking wouldn't help her cause. She let out a breath before moving in on the girl going for a simple tackle to take Krystal down to the mat.

Krystal jokingly responded, "Think I've seen someone do that though," before stopping when she noticed Maya coming in for a tackle. "Might as well give it a shot," she thinks to herself in the second or so she has to react. Krystal would only stand up a little more to make the tackle a little easier, getting hit in the gut with a grunt and taken down to the mat easily. Krystal will try to quickly kick her legs out from under Maya to then swing them up so they're on both sides of Maya's body where she can hook her ankles and apply a body-scissors on the girl.

Krystal jokingly responded, "Think I've seen someone do that though," before stopping when she noticed Maya coming in for a tackle. "Might as well give it a shot," she thinks to herself in the second or so she has to react. Krystal would only stand up a little more to make the tackle a little easier, getting hit in the gut with a grunt and taken down to the mat easily. Krystal will try to quickly kick her legs out from under Maya to then swing them up so they're on both sides of Maya's body where she can hook her ankles and apply a body-scissors on the girl.

Maya eyes widened slightly as the girl applied the body scissors to her though she kept herself under control not freaking out cause she knew that freaking out would cause her to lose oxygen quicker. Though Maya wasn't to good with submission moves but she knew what she could and couldn't do. So with her more straight forward type of style she began to throw punches right down at the girl's face. It might of been simple but she couldn't think of any way better to make Krystal let go than hitting her in the face.

Krystal yelps in pain as she gets pummeled in the face by the first punch, then grunts as she gets knocked the other way, her hold loosening slightly, but she keeps her legs around Maya. Not being the best in an upclose fight, she needs to either get out of the problem she's created for herself or stop getting nailed in the face...

Krystal will try to catch the third punch thrown at her face and redirect the punch into the mat next to her face. Though it'll hurt her hand, it's better than nailing her face again. To hopefully help her cause, she'll try to squeeze her legs more around Maya to work the hold. If another punch is thrown, she'll do her best to attempt to grab that punch, but she'll be less focused on it to give it a good enough effort to stop it.
