Songbird hit Scarlet pretty well and the red head was sent to the ground hard. As she watched Scarlet rolled to her back, she would say with a strange look, "I gotta say, I thought you were tougher than this." Still holding onto her midsection, Songbird continued to breathe heavily and tried to relieve the pain. But then, Scarlet moved in on her knees, heading to the pink-haired girl. At this point, Songbird could see that they both were getting even on the amount of effort they put in to fight against each other.

"Heh, I'm not used to my opponents kidding about... stripping me.. Or whatever else they have in mind." She admitted. "So, shall we get back to it?" Scarlet suggested, panting hard, putting her fists up in a fighting stance. She tried to keep moving, but it was clear she didn't have as much energy as when the match started.
