The Tiger's Den - Page 3 Empty Re: The Tiger's Den

"Hmm," was all Zero said in response, not making an indication whether she believed Clyde or not. He certainly wasn't trust worthy to say the least. Compared to some of the other men she had met in this league Clyde Gastin seemed like the scummiest of the bunch. The fact that he was good at massages did little to improve Zero's opinion of him.

"....you weren't very good," Zero said flat out, not missing a beat. Clyde may have surprised Zero a couple of times during their match but overall she had dominated through and through. The few times he surprised her she contributed to luck.

That little "Hmm" she gave him really made Clyde instantly realize that she didnt beleive him, and would start to getting a little uneasy, wondering if Zero would interogate him to find the truth behind this little man's motives.

"Pffft... Whatever..." Clyde would scoff at Zero's words that hit Clyde like a rock and made him cave in shame, not having anything he could say in defense because he knew it was true. Zero had beat him to a bloodied pulp and only got 1 fall on Zero, who had gotten 3 on him. "We aint all good at fighting... Some of us are only good at taking hits..." Clyde would mutter, in regards to his own 'skill'.

The Tiger's Den - Page 3 Empty Re: The Tiger's Den

From the way Clyde's hands stiffened on her shoulders Zero could tell that her statement hit the man hard, and was wondering if she may have gone too far in saying it. Not that it showed on her face, it was as blank a slate as ever. Clyde may have tried to cover it up with his usual bravado but from the way he spoke it wasn't hard to tell how close to home Zero had hit. "No one is just good at fighting," Zero muttered offhandedly. "It takes hard work and dedication." Zero wasn't the always the powerful wrestler she was today. She was in the gym every night training and beoming stronger with each passing day.

She then waved Clyde's hands off her shoulders and pointed at her still bare feet, silently telling Clyde to start massaging them next. "If you're so dissapointed, why don't you try and get stronger?" Zero asked curiously.

'Get Stronger'? To work hard everyday and train to get better and progress as a better fighter? Clyde didnt know the meaning of the phrase 'Hard Work' and frowned at the thought of it, perfering to be a lazy sloth more than anything. "Maybe Cause I dont feel like it... Too much work. And Clyde Gastin ain't up for hard work, baby." Clyde would reply somberly as he cupped Zero's feet, not really interested in massaging feet of all things but wouldnt complain about it either, as he rubbed the bottom of her foot firmly, caressing it with his thumbs.

"I really am the woman here arent I!?!?!" Clyde would think to himself, regarding the situation

The Tiger's Den - Page 3 Empty Re: The Tiger's Den

Zero relaxed as Clyde set to work at her feet. Having been on them all day they could use the attention. Sh frowned as Clyde explained his reasons. Zero hated laziness, and the fact that Clyde was complaining about it was a little irritating. She then smirked slightly. "Maybe if you worked a little harder you wouldn't be forced to rub a woman's feet." Humour was not something Zero indulged in regularily, but Clyde was a special case.

Zero looked up at the cieling for a moment, silently pondering. "Do you have any more matches soon?" she asked off handedly.

The Tiger's Den - Page 3 Empty Re: The Tiger's Den

Clyde stopped massaging Zero's foot for the moment to look back up at the woman with half cocked eyebrow before his face suddenly turned into a frustrated whimper of sorts. "Oh... S-Shut Up! If you wanted your feet massaged you shoulda called Shatterfist! I hear he's got a clinic downtown! And you got a very poor sense of humor! How you goin getta laugh at my expenses!" Clyde would exclaim before letting out a sigh as he began massaging Zero's other foot.

"Matches? Yeah... Im fighting Courtney Satasori for the Sex Wars 24/7 title... In a Cage Match..." Clyde would say in a uncaring tone, like it was no big deal.

The Tiger's Den - Page 3 Empty Re: The Tiger's Den

Zero smirked silently at Clyde's outrage, continuing to look at the cieling as her other foot was massaged. But when Clyde mentioned his next match, she frowned, and looked back down at him in disbelief. "You've......got a title match?" she asked. It was inconceivable to think that the higher ups ould give this lazy letcher a shot at the title.

Her eyes widened further when Clyde mentioned it was a cage match no less. Zero had been in many of those in the past, and no combatant left without shedding blood. "You're gonna get killed," she told him flatly.

The Tiger's Den - Page 3 Empty Re: The Tiger's Den

Post by Lobo Tue Dec 28, 2010 8:34 pm

"Im not that 'good' but im alot better than YOU think missy!" Clyde would scoff; of the 5 total matches he had, the match with Zero was the ONLY match that he had lost by being bested fair and square. He won 2 of them and willingly quit the last 2. In short, Zero was the only person to truly beat Clyde in the ring; even though Clyde's skills were never really that good, and he had gotten extremely lucky so far.

"Pfft... Not the worst thing that could happen to me." Clyde would scoff sarcastically at Zero's comment. The Texan would then suddenly look at Zero and give her a sly little grin before muttering. "...You sound like you kinda care..."

Zero wasn't trying to insult Clyde, much as he deserved to be insulted, but she knew what she was talking about. In their match Zero had taken in what Clyde was capable of, and her conclusion was he was an average wrestler at best. To put him in a title match seemed like an odd thing. There was little chance Clyde would win, unless his opponant was equally as skilled. Zero doubted Clyde was that lucky.

She glared down at Clyde for his comment, not wanting to be misunderstood by the Texan, especially in this subject. "I don't," she said. She looked up at the cieling again, and thought long and hard about what she was about to say next.

"Would you like me to train you?"

"I figured..." Clyde would respond to Zero's dismissal of whether or not she cared for the Texan's well being or wanted to see him fall flat on his face as he tried to nab a title.

His eyebrow then shot up as he heard Zero's words. "Say Wah?" Clyde would mutter out, doubting that he actually heard Zero offer to train him. "You did ask me if i wanted to be trained right? What's the catch?" Clyde would ask, not believing for a second that Zero was doing this out of this kindness of her stern heart. Even though Clyde wanted to believe that was the case.
