Debut Match! Clash Of Las Luchadoras! (For Alexandra)

"Finally! My first match!" Scorpia exclaimed to herself backstage with much exitement before her entrance theme, "A Ella" by El Poder Del Norte was played throughout the arena, prompting the luchadora to walk onto the entrance stage and make her way to the ring. The crowd would roar with the sounds of cheers as Scorpia made her way down the entrance ramp with a proud smile, happy to recieve such a welcome into the AFW.

Upon approaching the ring, Scorpia slid under the ropes and rose to her feet before raising her arms to greet the crowd. Scorpia could hardly contain her exitement, she had been sitting around waiting for a match for quite a while, and was more than eager to lace her boots once she was given a chance to have her first match in Friction. "I have a feeling this is gonna be good..." Scorpia would mutter to herself with a confident grin, eager to see who her opponent was and to begin her first match within friction.

Scorpia wouldn't have to wait long to find out who her opponent was. As she climbed into the ring, the lights in the arena would suddenly go completely dark, not a single trace of light within the large room. The crowd would start to buzz, wondering just what was going on, when suddenly, a spotlight would shine down upon one of the turnbuckles. There, standing atop it, was Luna Whitewood, her muscular arms folded over her chest, staring downwards at La Scorpia with a half amused, half serious look on her face. Two more spotlights would flash onto her, and then suddenly she would throw both arms up into the air, a signal of sorts to the crowd before she leapt off the post, doing a flip in midair and coming down right in front of Scorpia, landing in a kneel before her, the spotlights following her all the while.

Luna would slowly rise, still looking down upon her due for her four inch height advantage, folding her arms over her chest once more. Still she wouldn't speak, the arena remaining dark, as she waited for La Scorpia's reaction.

Scorpia had honestly expected her opponent to appear by the entrance ramp, much to her surprise however, a spotlight would shine down upon a nearby turnbuckle to reveal a figure standing upon it. "Que!?" Scorpia would turn, taking a step back as she tried to get a better view of who was standing on the ring post. Scorpia would then watch in awe as Luna flipped in the air and landed within the ring, right in front of Scorpia.

Scorpia could only look on, visibly shocked by Luna's grand entrance before muttering. "Show off..." Scorpia remarked, feeling outstaged on her debut. "Si eres un luchador?" Scorpia would ask Luna in spanish, wanting to know if this woman was really a luchador from her homeland of Mexico, or just some poser in a mask.

Luna would nod once at Scorpia, remaining unmoving, like a statue, as she stared at her, her eyes piercing as they gazed into La Scorpia's.

Finally she would speak, her voice low, yet firm and powerful sounding. "I am...perhaps not a true luchador, but I assure you I embody the spirit of the mask just as well as anyone, if not better.."

"Damn right you no true Luchadora! More like... uh.... como se dice in English? Poser? Wannabe?" Scorpia would tell Luna with her broken english, but nonetheless finding Luna to be nothing more than a 'Wannabe Luchadora'.

"It takes more than a mask to be a Luchadora! I aint got no mask! You think you got what it takes to R-Re...R-Represent Lucha Libre!?" Scorpia would challange, stepping back into her grappling stance while matching Luna's Pierceing gaze with her own eyes, meeting stares.

"Then show me whatchu got!"

Luna let out a light tsk, then took a step back from her, spreading her arms open wide as the bell rang.

"If that's how you feel, I'll come at you with everything I have! Let's dance, sister!"

With those words she would suddenly lunge in, going to meet La Scorpia's grapple. She would press against her, her unmasked opponent finding that Miss Whitewood had a great deal of strength in her arms. Not only that, but the momentum from that sudden lunge would be pressing against Scorpia as well, Luna trying damn hard to pick up the early advantage here.

Scorpia stood firm as Luna lunged at her, grappling with her in a fierce lockup that tested the strength of the two wrestlers.

Scorpia was surprised to find such strength from Luna, and would end up getting pushed back her taller masked opponent. Now struggleing to stand up-right, Scorpia knew she was the weaker of the two, but wouldnt let herself be beaten by sheer brute strength.

Trying to move quickly, Scorpia lifted her right leg to press her foot against Luna's chest, if that worked, Scorpia would simply let herself fall onto her back and use the momentum to toss Luna over her head, via Monkey Roll.

Luna would take the monkey roll from Scorpia, but the moment she hit the mat she would bounce back up to her feet, lunging back at her opponent again. This time though, she would leap up, aiming a wild dropkick towards Scorpia's chest as she rose as well!

After the monkey roll, Scorpia watched her opponent hit the mat before she went to get up on her feet as well. But what the luchadora didnt count on was that Luna would be as well and would take the dropkick directly to chest.

"Agh!" Grunted Scorpia as she stummbled a bit before falling on the canvas after taking the dropkick. Scorpia wasnt done yet however and would spring up to her feet once she hit the mat before rushing back to Luna, attempting to jump at her while throwing her legs foreward, attempting to get Luna with a Hurricarana.

Luna would quickly spring back up as she hit the mat from her dropkick...but then she saw Scorpia jumping towards her. The mighty masked woman would throw herself to the side, diving out of the way of the huracanrana attempt to dodge it, then quickly work her way back to her feet once more, waiting to see Scorpia's next move...
