As Fortune was trying to get up, she would feel her leg getting lifted up into the air. Her eyes would go wide for a moment, and then she felt the impact of her knee onto the canvas. With a loud hiss she would roll over onto her side afterwards, curling up slightly and reaching down to rub at her knee. That hurt, definately, but it would take far more than that to stop her.

Quickly she would try to roll away from Sayuki before she could try that again, trying to get near the ropes to grab at them to help pull herself up.

After bashing the knee into the mat, Sayuki backed off for a bit as she saw Sarah roll away towards the rope. Now she need to think of another move to further attack the leg, and then it hit her. She got ready as she watched Sarah, waiting for the girl to get up as she would then race towards the girl and try to perform a low dropkick/baseball slide aimed for Sarah's leg. If this move was to miss, Sayuki could easily slide or fall to the outside.

And miss it would! Fortune wasn't planning on letting Sayuki injure that leg of hers any more than she had with that knee slam, and so when she came barreling at her, the redhead would quickly move to the side to avoid it.

If Sayuki did end up sliding outside of the ring, Fortune would be quick to follow her out, waiting for her to try and get up. If Sayuki rose up, Fortune would grab at her hair, 'helping' her up enough that she could send several forearm smashes right into the side of her head.

Sayuki went flying out under the middle rope as she landed hard. She took the time to reorganize her thought as she didn't expect that move to be a high risk maneuver as she flopped onto her stomach. She was then pulled to her feet as she saw Sarah had followed her and now was raining in with the forearm shots as Sayuki's head whipped back with each hit, unable to do anything at the moment...

If Sarah had her way, Sayuki wasn't going to be able to do anything at all!

The curvy bounty hunter would smash her forearm once more time into the side of Sayuki's skull for good measure. This was her first match, her big debut, and she intended to make a huge mark here. She couldn't even *think* of losing as a possibility, not tonight.

With that said, she would pull Sayuki over towards the ring, taking a huge handful of the girl's long hair in her hand. She would jerk her head straight backwards so that Sayuki's was looking up at her, and with another teasing wink, would then go to send her forwards towards the apron of the ring, aiming to smash her forehead right into the apron. Afterwards, she would then go to throw her opponent back under the ropes and into the ring, following her up inside.

Sayuki's head was rattled after all the shots as she was then rolled back into the ring, she didn't catch the wink this time as she had other things to think of while her head was being bashed into the ring apron. After getting rolled into the ring, Sayuki continued to roll to get as far away from Sarah as possible as she stopped close to the opposite end of the ring to try and use the ropes to pull herself up.

As she did that, she saw Sarah was coming close to her and Sayuki would then stop mid way of getting up to make it look as it she was still reeling from the blows and when Sarah was close enough, Sayuki would try to spring up enough to try and throw a snap kick to Sarah's knee that she had smashed into the mat earlier.

Sarah Fortune vs. Sayuki Akisawa - Page 2 Empty Re: Sarah Fortune vs. Sayuki Akisawa

Fortune would move on in close to Sayuki, smiling at her all the while. She figured she had this in the bag already, she thought that she had Sayuki right where she wanted her...

...she was wrong. Maybe it was overconfidence, maybe it was just her underestimating her opponent, but Sayuki was far from down and out. As she closed in and went to grab at Sayuki again, the longer haired heel's leg would lash out, connecting with Fortune's knee with deadly precision. Her eyes would widen, a choked cry forcing itself from her lips, as Fortune dropped to the mat again, landing on her side on the canvas. She would curl up now, a tiny whimper coming from her lips as her hands raced to nurse at that knee again, a growing pain mounting itself in her leg.

Stupid mistake, she thought to herself. Stupid, stupid, stupid! She would quickly try to focus again, trying to shut the pain out of her mind, but at the moment it was all she could think about, leaving her open once more for Sayuki.

And that stupid mistake was all Sayuki needed.

After blasting the knee, Sayuki would grab a hold of Sarah's leg as she would then pull it with her as she would roll to the outside. This was a common strategy of Sayuki to use the ring apron in her plans to destroy her opponent's limbs as she would try to position Sarah's leg so that the back of her knee was place against ring apron's edge as she would then try to lift the leg up and then jerk it harshly down to stretch out the knee and leg as it would make it collide against the ring apron. That's if Sarah wasn't able to counter during any part of her plan.

Fortune might have been in pain, but she wasn't stupid. She knew what Sayuki was up to the minute she slid out of the ring. As she felt her hurt leg being draped over the apron, thoughts of what Sayuki had in mind flashed into her head. She wasn't about to let that happen, not this early in the match...hell, not at all if she had a say in it.

Once Sayuki lifted her leg up, ready to slam it back down, Miss Fortune's unhurt, good leg would suddenly snap into action, the heeled boot going to smash right towards Sayuki's face, in hopes of knocking her off of the redhead.

Sayuki was convinced that her kick had disabled Sarah long enough to allow her to enact her environment attack. It seems this was her mistake as Sarah's boot came crashing in her face as she then staggered backwards and fell on to the metal guard rail that protected the fans from the action somewhat. After the boot, Sayuki would take the time to shake her head clear after the attack as she stayed on the outside.
