Nikolette Tessla Vs. Cassie Elliot

Nikolette stumbled again when she felt the uppercut slam into her. It numbed her jaw with pain, leaving it as a dull ache. But she didn't have any more time than to open and close her mouth a few times before seeing Cassie fall backwards. She watched as Cassie wrapped her legs around Nik's ankles and furrowed her brow. "No ya don't!" She said as she swung her arms forward to try and control the direction she fell before Cassie could, practically leaping forward to try and fall on top of Cassie instead of backwards. Hopefully, she could catch Cassie while she was transitioning from her front to her back but at the very least, she would try and get a hold of Cassie's arm.

"Rrrr!" Cassie botched another submission attempt and yet again found herself under Nikolette. It was embarrassing, this wasn't supposed to happen against people who clearly didn't match her skill level, at least when grappling, and she was becoming increasingly frustrated. Her cheeks flushed red.

Nikolette's ankle slipped away and she was left empty handed, letting out a squeak when Nikolette's weight hit her. Immediately she tried transitioning, before Nikolette could settle into position. She reached down to grab the back of one of her opponent's knees and pulled up to use both that and the grip Nikolette had on her arm as leverage to roll her over onto her back.

Nikolette tried to pull Cassie's arm upward and push her shoulder and chest into Cassie's shoulder and chest to keep the weight on top of the red head. She tried to snake her free arm under Cassie's neck to get her in some kind of headlock but she felt Cassie reaching for her knee. This was all so very awkward and Nik wasn't even really sure what was the best course of action even if she did get the hold locked in. She was just trying to avoid getting put on her back and hoped she could use her weight to try and keep Nik at bay, shifting her hips back and forth as much as she could, even trying to fully straddle Cassie's stomach if she could keep her leg from being grabbed.

Cassie's mounting frustration was mirrored by the reddening of her cheeks. This was ridiculous. It couldn't be the size advantage that was giving her problems, she'd rolled with bigger people before. She felt confused, and a little off her game.

She Nikolette pin her arm where she wanted for the moment. With Nik reaching for Cassie's neck, she instinctively tucked her chin and got her hand up in front, palm on her own forehead, to stop her opponent from getting an arm around. With Nikolette fumbling for position it was easy to wrap her legs around her waist and secure her guard, but rather than lock her ankles and close up her guard, she moved on to butterfly guard, planting her feet inside each of Nikolette's hips. She waited patiently for the bigger girl to shift her weight enough that a good shove would throw her off and create enough space for Cassie to scramble to her feet.

Nikolette had been using her wits and strength to get her to her position. She had read up on grappling but her somewhat bulky frame wasn't the best for execution even if she could visualize it. Still, she thought she was doing pretty well all things considered. But she couldn't do everything and quickly she was shoved back by Cassie's maneuvers and forced away from the red head. She rolled away to give the two some separation and got to her feet as well. "Sheesh." She said panting softly. "Tell me yer at least a little worn out from all this rollin around. I'm sweatin worse than a bull in a milkin contest. She looked over at Cassie and flashed a grin. The girl seemd very serious and Nikolette was trying to make her feel at ease. She didn't think it was working though.

Nikolette rested against the ropes for a few moments before putting her fists back up. She needed a new strategy. Rushing in, getting tangled up and breaking apart wasn't doing anything but getting tired. She wasn't a good enough grappler to beat Cassie. She was barely able to keep Cassie from getting her in a submission. And Cassie's skills prevented her from slugging it out with the girl. She'd just shoot and bring her to the mat and start the cycle over again.

Letting out a deep sigh, she looked at Cassie. She started towards her at a slow pace but then tried to pick it up. There was something she hadn't tried yet, she just hoped she had the energy left to make it work. She picked up speed to close the gap and would try and launch a front kick at Cassie. Pulling her knee up and thrusting her foot forward, straight ahead at Cassie's chest. But it wasn't just a kick. She pushed herself off the ground to give herself lift. Even if Cassie tried to catch it, Nik hoped that the momentum couldn't be stopped. There were definitely other things to worry about but Nik would deal witht hem if they came.

Cassie rolled up after pushing Nikolette off, planning on immediately going after her. But Nikolette just kept going, backing off entirely and giving Cassie a chance to get up and reset.

She stared across at her opponent. She certainly seemed more tired than Cassie. Her experience and her confidence in her skills on the ground let her stay relaxed, even when frustrated and carrying the weight of the bigger girl, burning less energy. She furrowed her brow while fitful bunches of violent thoughts ran through her head. She wasn't totally sure what she was going to try next. She wiggled uncomfortably and fixed the butt of her suit.

The next thing she knew, Nikolette was coming in again, a lot faster than she thought. While she was mulling her strategy over, Nik was putting hers into action and leading in with a big kick. Cassie's body wanted to go two different directions at once, her brain couldn't decide on a defense. She did the only thing that seemed to make sense. She ducked.

"Eeep!" She dropped to a crouch with her knees to her chest and covered her head with her hands, her eyes squeezed shut. Nikolette's kick sailed over her head, and the girl's momentum carried her into the knee high Cassie-ball.

Nikolette's eyes widened and she flailed her arms, swinging them wildly as she stumbled forward and into the ropes. She nearly fell through them and barely caught herself in time. If Cassie didn't spring up and react in a few moments, Nik would turn around to be able to keep an eye on Cassie's position while still leaning against the ropes. She actually liked her position as long as she could transition to that position unmolested.

Having avoided certain death, Cassie unwrapped her hands from her head and looked around to see what had actually happened. She saw Nikolette hit the ropes. By the time she turned around, Cassie was on her.

"Yaaaaaaa!"

She leaped at Nikolette just as she turned, landing with her feet on the middle rope and straddling her opponent. She wrapped her hands around the girl's head, careful not to snag her hair in the process, and with one more jump she wrapped her legs around Nik's neck while spinning around her so that Cassie hung outside the ropes from Nikolette's head. She figure 4'd her legs to make sure she wouldn't slip, using her weight to bend Nikolette back over the top rope.

Nikolette was shocked by Cassie's sudden pounce and would have stumbled back if not for the ropes holding her in place. The red head was such a flurry of movement that by the time she could react, she was being bent back and nearly choked against the ropes by Cassie.

Now she's chokin me like I'm a darn mule! Geeze I gotta quit lettin her do this...

Nikolette's thoughts ran through her mind as she glanced backwards. She had to do something and it had to be good. The lock was tight but Nikolette tried to wedge her hands in between Cassie's ankles and her neck. She wasn't looking to break the hold. She just wanted to try and turn herself around so she was bending over the ropes the right way. If she could manage that much, she would try and grab onto Cassie's legs and pull her back up. Hoping to get her about half way up so that she was resting her hips against the top rope. She had to establish a position against this tricky girl but if she could get this far, she would try and hold tightly onto Cassie's legs to stabilize her for her next move.

Cassie felt Nikolette wiggling around, and didn't like it. She lifted her head to watch what she was doing, and in a moment the girl had turned to face her. Her hold was made somewhat worthless with Nikolette able to use her strength. She had no doubt that should could probably just lift her up and do something horrible with her.

"Ohhhh no you don't."

Once Nikolette grabbed for Cassie's leg, she decided it was time to abandon this hold. She jackknifed up, grabbed the back of Nikolette's head with both hands and went to disentangle her legs and drop to the floor.
