Layla Mckarthy vs Claudette Valkyrie (Complete)

Green lights cascaded the AFW arena and focused on the entrance ramp, and fans of the girl knew what that meant. Stepping out from backstage Layla McKarthy arrived at the top of the ramp, her arms crossed and her signature scowl on her face. tanding at just under five feet the small girl didn't look like she'd provide much of a fight for most of the girls in the AFW, but Layla had proven in the past that she was fully capable of taking on even the largest of opponants. In fact, that's what she wanted. She was on a mission to destroy all the taller girls in this place, to prove once and for all she wasn't some weakling that xcould be pushed around.

With clenched fists Layla made her way to the ring amongst the cheers to the crows. She didn't care; she wasn't here for them. But this was a spectator sport. She would make sure to give them a show tonight. And so Layla climbed into the ring with some difficulty and went to her corner to await her opponant's arrival. Layla stood there with her arms crossed and her eyes narrowed, ready to show whoever joined her in this ring just what she was capable of.

From the myriad of green, the arena went dark and filled with a fog. Claudette's music started and white lights flashed all over the place, caught by the thick smoke, simulating lightning within dense clouds. Claudette was very partial to lightning and this would be her first entrance where it was implemented. As the Valkyrie stepped out onto stage and her green eyes focused on Layla in the ring with her arms crossed, the first thing she noted was the girl's stature vs. her own. This girl wasn't simply shorter than her... she was puny by any standard!

Claudette's natural instinct was to underestimate the girl right away, but if there was anything the Valkyrie learned from her loss to Tatyina, a girl maybe only three inches taller than Layla, was that size doesn't always matter. There was a reason Layla was staring a hole right through the taller redhead... she wasn't afraid, which probably meant she had the skills to do some damage. Claudette proceeded towards the ring as the simulated Angelfire struck around her in the "clouds". She noticed that the fan reaction was positive, perhaps her incredible match with Tatyina had earned her some support and it felt good.

Once Claudette stepped through the ropes, she was all business. Tatyina had handed the Valkyrie her first loss and she was feeling very strongly about not receiving another for a while. Claudette swung her greatsword up and pointed it straight at Layla's face. It was a gesture as if to say "I'm coming for you so be prepared." Claudette then set the sword outside the ring and began to warm up, jumping up and down to loosen up her legs, her hefty breasts bouncing with her behind her armored brazier. The referee looked to the two ladies and deemed they were both ready and itching to start this contest and signaled for the opening bell.

Layla raised an eyebrow at the appearence of her opponant. Not only was she taller then her, which wasn\t that much of a surprise really, but she was wearing some very real looking armour to their match. She's actually going to fight like that? Layla thought to herself. It seemed like such a burden to move around in, no matter how much she wanted to stick to her theme. Not to mention she was armed with a great big sword. How many freaks did they let into this place?

Layla flinched when Cluadette pointed her rather large sword at her, and wondered if she would actually be using that in their fight. She certainly hoped not. That thing was bigger than she was! But as Claudette stowed it away, Layla silently breathed in relief, then clenched her fists at the ready. She wasn't going to lose to this armoured red head.

The bell would soon ring, and when it did Layla would step out from her corner to face Claudette in the ring. Her fists were raised at the ready, and her eyes said she was ready to take Claudette down.

Claudette locked eyes with her foe and offered a grin, "You have a lot of courage, I can tell by your eyes. But it will take much more than courage alone to defeat me." The taller woman took the aggressive right away and spun as soon as she finished her sentence, As she did so, the Valkyrie would try to surprise Layla with a roundhouse thrust kick right to the smaller girl's chest.
"Hahh!!" Claudette would yell as she sent her leg out, putting as much oomph into her attack as possible

Layla just scowled at Claudette and her bravado. She wasn't here to talk about crap like courage. SHe was here to make Claudette into a very silly looking woman. "Then I guess I'll just have to kick your as-!" Before Layla could even finish, Claudette threw her kick with one of her long legs. Layla's eyes widened in alarm, and would barely have enough time to side-step the attack, letting it zoom right past her. The kick may have surprised her, but Layla's combat instincts would kick in almost instantly. Her hands would reach out to grab the offending leg, momentarily keeping her opponant standing on one leg. This wouldn't last long however, and Layla would then try to trip Claudette's remaining leg out from under her, and send her crashing to her back on the mat.

Claudette's eyes widened as she thrust her leg to full extention. She had fully expected her foot to collide with her opponent, but found she hit nothing but air "Missed?" she thought when her foe's arms seized her leg. She wanted to try and counter this predicament with another attack, but Layla had already launched into her own follow up, tripping the larger woman's base leg. "Nngh!!!" Claudette grunted as she slammed onto her back.

The crowd cheered righteously for the start of the fight. They had just started and already the smaller Layla had taken down her much larger opponant. It was an inspiring, and surprising sight. It was nothing new to Layla though. People often underestimated her when they fight her for the first time.

Layla would still have hold of the leg Claudette attacked her with, and with is still in her grasp she`d use it to turn Cluadette over onto her front so she could take a seat on her lower back, pulling back on the knight`s leg for a single legged boston crab.

Claudette knew she was in big trouble in this kind of a position, on her back with her leg captured, and immediately tried to fight back before Layla could roll her to her stomach. Using her free leg, Claudette tried to kick into the side of Layla's knees to sweep her down to the mat as well. If she could manage this, she would roll to her stomach and get back to her feet.

"Ow!" Layla yelped. Instead of dishing out of painful and humiliating submission like she had hoped she was instead struck in the side of the knee by Claudette's counter attack. It proved to be partially sucessful. Her knees buckled slightly but she didn't fall. However, because of the distraction Claudette would manage to neatly slip her leg out of her grasp.

Layla scowled at the red headed knight before her, quickly resuming a fight stance again. Claudette was pretty quick on the recovery it seemed. She'd have to fix that and wear her down if she was to win this. And so when Claudette got back to her feet, Layla would march up to her and try to grab her byh her long red hair, grabbing two big handfuls of it to keep her in place.

The Valkyrie slipped free and breathed a sigh of relief as she rolled away, but this respite was short-lived for the moment Claudette was vertical, she felt the rugged tug of two hands grabbing her long, silky hair. "Ahn!" she winced. She expected the aggression though and would try to out-speed Layla. Once she had hold of Claudette's thick locks, the Valkyrie would immediately throw her palm out and upward, trying to smash Layla right in the nose. If it hit, it would hopefully hurt like hell and blind the girl with tears for a moment. Upon success, Claudette would prepare for a quick follow-up...
