Rena's Sparring Session (for KreepKing)

Ryuzu Rena happily hummed to herself as she climbed into the ring she had always admired. No one's here yet... great, I can practice...

A lifelong wrestling fan, she had jumped at the chance to join AFW. Even though she was only accepted as a ref, management thinking she couldn't hack it in the ring, she worked as hard as she could, practicing on the mat and especially in the ring as much as she could, longing for the day she could become a real wrestler.

Today, wearing a tank top and gym shorts, she planned to loosen up, a long overdue reward for all the trouble she had endured this week.

That Shizuka... always giving me trouble...

Fighting off a frown, she pressed the Play button on her remote control. Her MP3 player sat on the announcer's table along with compact speakers.

To the tune of an upbeat song, Rena first flexed long and good, then settled into a warm-up proper.

After seeing what looked like a scrawny kid carrying the overbearing weight of a large duffel bag that was even bigger than he is, one might think that this man was either a hobo, or a modern day slave.

"Hmmmff! Hope I'm not too late!"

Yes, this very man was Ronald. Amazing how such a skinny boy can handle something as large as his own duffel bag, but one would be even more amazed after finding out the reason he was doing all of this for: to spar in the very ring belonging to the Sex Wars.

Last time Ronald checked, anything heavier than his 8 pound, little nephew was considered a work-out, not to mention that Ronald still possesses an impressive stack of Victoria Secret in his closet. So yeah, he's a virgin, and a sad one at that.
Hopefully, after running away from home, he can redeem his crappy ass life with his newly found destiny: to dive into the dangers of battle. Even if it had to take him a few days worth of travel just get to that point, in which he's doing right now. Good thing he stuffed his duffle bag with plenty of entertainment to keep him busy during the trip; about a hundred pounds worth of porn, porn, porn, a few novels, porn, and a used women's thong, all making his bag weigh at a staggering 200 pounds. That's already 199 pounds too much for Ronald to handle!

Like any average person would do once they are about to take a long trip, Ronald thought about packing atleast some of his clothes, some money, and a tooth brush, but then that meant that he wouldn't have any space to carry his beloved porn.

After nearly getting his own ass handed to him by an old pedestrian on his way to the ring, Ronald had finally made it!

"Is....t-his the place? D-did I f-f-finally make it?"

His voice made a resounding echo within the empty stadium. Upon looking at the ring, It looked like someone, some GIRL, had already made it before he did.

"Shoot! I was hoping that I can get to practice for a bit before I would start!"

Taking a few hours to gather up an ounce of courage before he finally approached Rena, he climbed into the ring and opened his mouth to speak, in attempt to ask her a question.

"U-um....a-a-are you...m-my op-p-pponent?"

"U-um....a-a-are you...m-my op-p-pponent?"

Rena was just settling out of her latest stretch when she finally noticed her one-boy audience. She blinked.

Who's this? I don't remember seeing him before... maybe he's a new member?

Her smile brought out her freckles in full force. Fumbling for the remote in her pocket, she paused the MP3 player and nodded to the boy before her in greeting. She was slightly sweating from her warm-up, her tight clothes beginning to stick to her skin.

"Ah," she began, curious herself, "You must be a new member, huh? My name's Ryuzu Rena. You can call me Rena. You are?"

"...you are?"

To be honest, Ronald had never had another woman besides his own mother speak to him before. Just by looking at her, a surge of nervous anxiety had swallowed his feelings that moment.
What should he say? Should he answer her question? What if she likes him? I mean, she DID speak to him just now, right? Could she be the "one"? Should Ronald marry her? But what if she doesn't like him? That would be all too embarressing. Proposing to a woman who doesn't even like him. Afterall, who actually likes Ronald?

Ronald soon found himself frozen right there in the ring with the uknown female stranger. His knees began to tremble. Old habits of biting his finger nails had soon came back in full form. The pressure was too much to take. Right there, Ronald considered about giving up the Sex Wars and going back home. It was the most sensible thing to do, considering that Ronald was dying just from feeling all this tension. Maybe he can find a better future back in his home town, flipping burgers for another 20 years. Anything would be better than this, right?

From the looks of things, it looks like Ronald was too nervous to even take another step, making his participation in the match a mystery.
What would his opponent do? Or is Ronald going to have to grow balls on his own?

Suddenly, his lips finally parted to speak. This may be it! He's finally starting to speak!

"Um....do you have....do you have an asthma pump?"

For the longest while, Rena stared at this boy, her mouth slightly agape, one eyebrow higher than the other, brain functions effectively stopped. Then she burst into laughter.

"I'm sorry," she managed after perhaps ten seconds, "I couldn't help it... and, no, I don't have an asthma pump..." She smiled. "I guess you are new. You're pretty nervous, aren't you? Well, you don't have to. I'm not your opponent, I was just exercising here when you came."

She extended her hand for him to take. "You haven't told me your name yet. You are?"

"OH! No asthma pump, eh? You're gonna need it...for your WHEEZING CHEST PAINS!"


Readying himself right after Rena said "I'm sorry", Ronald drops his duffel bag and leaps high into the air in attempt to perform a super hero styled dive-kick, one of the most corniest moves ever done on the face of the earth. He may have looked confident for the few seconds he was in mid-air, but deep inside, not even Ronald himself knew what the hell he was doing. He wasn't even sure if he was even going to land without hurting himself in the process.

Ronald knew that Rena was not only a skimpy dresser, but also an experienced fighter just from watching her train earlier. Hell, he was starting to doubt that his improvised kick was going to work on her. But this was the very same move done by the famous YatterMan and the Power Rangers. So it has to work, right?

Rena's attempt to be friendly got cut short by the improbable kick- that she sidestepped at the last second, aided by her arms frantically batting at the incoming attack.

"Hey!" she exclaimed. "What's the big idea?!"

First Shizuka, then this nutcase... is every new face in Sex Wars nuts?

"Hey! What's the big deal?!"
Those weren't the words that Ronald was expecting to hear after missing his planned attack.
After falling, face first, into the hard mat, he gets up, brushes himself off, then turns to Rena to examine her confused face.

"W-wait, you mean you weren't trying to beat me up just now?"

He examines her face longer in order to tell the credibitily of her next words; a technique he had learned from watching numberous episodes of Masked Rider. Though, he was only standing there, watching her, this made him fully aware of any sudden attack that came his way...granted if he's able to stay focused for that long.

Rena opened up the distance between herself and this maniac dwarf for some safety margin. She had a suspicion she might get attacked again if she left herself open- or even if she stayed on guard.

"Of course not!" she shot back hotly, posed defensively in case this was another ambush. "I was greeting you and asking your name!"

"My...my name?"

Ronald looks down into his palms and pondered Rena's question deeply. It wasn't often that Ronald had a chance to really think about his new fate as HooverMan.
Should he even tell anyone who he was? Should he become HooverMan just to prove to his identity?

"Um...I'm Ronald....yeah, I was a bit n-nervous so I thought y-you were going to attack m-me...sorry"

He seriously thought that he was going get ambushed by wrestlers upon his arrival. Propably thier way of greeting newcomers like him. Mercy was one thing that Ronald was never used to. The way Rena greeted him was different...different than the way other kids treated him at school....different than the way he was treated back at home.

"...s-sorry..." Ronald stammers out once more.

If there was one thing that Ronald never knew much of, it was kindness. Not that Ronald could ever form words properly to make himself clear, though. Sensing it was too late to recover from his sudden outburst, Ronald walks towards his duffel bag and readies to leave. It's a shame to have ruined a chance at a friendship, something that Ronald never had.
