Ok, it's probally just my computer being stupid, but I've noticed that whenever I try to respond with a fairly long post (more than 5 lines), I automatically log out and loose the post. I have been replying, it's just not working.

Haven't been having problems, but sometime ago I did have the problem where I kept getting logged off automatically every 10 minutes, don't know why it was doing that though... I think its more to do with the period of time logged on rather then size of post, so try writing up your replies on word and the copy paste them here

I have actually had problems being logged off constantly or going to a dead screen when I try to log in. Funny thing is when I use my work computer I have no problem with this. I use AOL on my home computer and Internet Explorer on my work computer. Does this site perhaps have a conflict with AOL? I know the Star Trek site I go to does.
