Emi vs. Ayane

After taking the punch to the eye, Ayane would stumble back, clutching at the pain. This Emi girl was becoming a major irritation. She was talented though, as she wouldn't Allow Ayane to gather her wits, and she was open to her next attack. "Gah!" she shouted when her other eye was struck. What is it with you and my eyes?! she thought to herself, now clutching her other eye. But trying to comfort her pain was a bad more, as she was struck immediately after with a kick to the head. Ayane would have been shocked by the power of the kick if it hadn't knocked her for a loop, sending her down flat on her back, clutching the side of her head with one hand, and breathing heavily, her chest heaving up and down with each breath.

Ayane was scarcely aware of what was going on at the moment. Emi's well placed blow had knocked her for quite a loop. In her entire fighting career, she had never been taken so off guard. The worst part about it was that Ayane had taken on men twice Emi's size, and still the small girl was nimble enough to be a major thorn in her side, to say the least.

"Ugh..." Ayane groaned, her eyes half open as she looked up at the bright, hot lights above. Why am I still laying here? she thought to herself, trying to gather her wits. It sure was hard though. That kick had hit it's mark. When the lights she was looking at suddenly darkened, Ayane tried to focus her vision. When she didn't, she saw Emi, sitting on her stomach, fists at the ready. In this position, and in her semi loopy state, she was in no position to really fight back. But that didn't mean she would defend herself. With a groggy grunt, she would raise her arms, putting them in front of her face, hoping to block Emi's punches.

Ayane knew that in a situation like this, it was hard to recover. She had fought MMA for a long time, but never once had she ever tried to learn grappling. So she knew that even if she tried, it wouldn't be very effective. The worst part of it, Emi seemed to be skilled enough to know where to punch. Avoiding her face, she would swing at the side of her head, hitting her cheeks. The solid punch snapped her head to the side, making her vision a little blurry. D-damn it... damn it... Ayane thought to herself as she tried in vain to block the punch. Emi really had the upper hand, and her skillful strikes were starting to get to her. She felt her arms growing heavy, and unconsciousness threatened to overtake her.

She didn't want to go down like this, not in her first match, but it seemed Emi was taking advantage of her downed state, and seemed to be well on her way to victory.

Ayane was near her breaking point. The one mment she let her guard own against this girl was the wrost mistake she could have ever made. She had seriously underestimated her by her looks, and had seriously overestimated her own abilities. She assumed that she would be able to take on anyone in this business. But it seemed that the talent these people rounded up were much more skilled than she would have ever given them credit for. Her own arrogance would be her downfall though, as she was now underneath the one who would show her just how wrong her view on her competition was.

After a while, she felt blood trickling down her nose and cheek, and soon, her head slumped down to the mat, along with her arms, slowly succumbing to Emi's assault. She wished she had the energy to hit back. She wanted so much to hit this girl back, but it didn't look like that was happening, as she soon saw her vision wavering as she fought to retain consciousness. It's too soon... she thought to herself. It was true. It felt as if the match was only just starting. But in her experience, these kinds of matches tended not to last long. A knock out match was about literally beating your opponent senseless, and if you weren't careful, a single move could change the whole match to a one sided beat down.

This was it. Ayane couldn't keep herself from fading anymore. Emi had taken advantage of her moment of weakness, and now Ayane was seriously paying for it. When Emi threw the final punch, she finally gave in to the dark that threatened to take her into it's cold embrace. Ayane's vision completely faded, and her arms slumped completely to the mat as she fell into unconsciousness, officially losing the match to Emi.
