[Pendant Match] Kawaii: Talia Wilson vs Minney Navarre

Standard Match: Friction (Talia Wilson) Vs. Friction Kawaii (Minney Navarre)
Winning Condition: Pinfall, Submission or Knockout
Match Stipulations: Each Team Member will win the Number of Pendant pieces stated for Participation in the match

Talia Wilson: Blue Barracuda [½ Pendant]
Minney Navarre: No Team, No Pendant

Talia wasn't sure if being told by Taylor to represent the team for the kawaii matches was meant to be an insult or not. She had actually been referred to as a kawaii twice since she had joined the AFW. As tiny as she was, though, the kawaii girls were even smaller. But Talia also had aspirations and goals she wanted to accomplish. She didn't want to be in a division that even she considered was below her. Not in a skill sense, of course, she could either be one of the largest girls in the Kawaii league or one of the smallest girls in the Tension and Friction divisions. And she had chosen the latter. She wasn't sure what to expect from a kawaii opponent, that being said.

With a few fist pumps to the crowd she gracefully walked down the ramp and jumped onto the side of the ring. She looked around at all the people in the arena and smiled. It felt good to to be wrestling in Friction, the fans seemed much more interested and devoted to the sport here rather than in Kyoto. The girl jumped onto the top of the turnbuckle then leaped inside, making sure to roll to her feet as she landed. Her back was still a little sore as she learned when she rolled. She kept a straight face through the pain, though. With a forced smile, she looked back up at the arena's titantron and awaited her opponent.

Minney bounced around backstage. She was getting ready for her third fight int he AFW! She must have been starting to grab heads because they told her she was specially picked for this match and it would really showcase her kawaii skills. She was fighting against someone who was in the regular Frictions how so Minney thought she might have a really tough time. She didn't quite understand how someone with a 1-1 record could possibly be picked for this sort of thing, but maybe the higher ups saw something she didn't.

She was pretty excited and smiled for the crowd who cheered for her. Minney had always been known as a loveable loser in the AFW. Someone who had lost every fight she had ever been in but still came out with cheer like she was an uundefeated juggernaut. Minney had no idea why she was popular, but she was happy. She skipped down to the ring and slid into it with her arms outstretched.

"Wheeee!"

She hopped up and looked at Talia. It was rare to see someone who was as short as Minney and even the slightly diminutive Talia looked giant in comparison. Minerva looked at Talia and smiled, stepping towards the ring and offering a hand. "Hello!" She said in her squeaky voice. Talia didn't look Japanese either, which made Minerva feel a little more comfortable even though she was born and raised entirely in Tokyo, she always felt a little out of place around her fellow Japanese kin. "My name's Minney! Let's have a fun match together!" She said with an excited squeal.

Talia watched the smaller girl skip down the ramp and into the ring. She seemed happy and exuberant which reminded Talia of what she was like when she first joined the AFW. Even though she had experienced some rough matches since then, she liked to think she was still like that. But part of her knew better, that things would have to get much better for her to return to that optimism. With a half-smile, Talia then shook Minney's hand. It was kind of an odd feeling, for once she'd be wrestling an opponent that was actually like her. Even more odd was that Minney really was smaller than her, something that only then sunk in. "I'm Talia. Let's give them a show!" she replied with a new-found enthusiasm.

Talia took off the Blue Barracuda shirt and threw it into the audience, revealing her usual outfit. With a little bounce in her step she walked around the edge of the ring after the bell rang, still keeping distance between Minerva and herself. The more she looked at the girl, the more comfortable and confident she felt. She took a few more steps towards the girl and lifted up her hands in offer of a test of strength. For once, Talia felt she could get the advantage with it.

"Yosh!" Minney said as she heard Talia's words. She pumped her fist in excitement as she thought a girl who was only slightly more gigantic than her might actually be someone she had a chance for victory against. She giddily circled around the ring, with one hand close to her lips and one hand out. When Talia threw up her hands for a test of strength, Minerva giggled and shook her head.

"Talia-chan!" She exclaimed. "You're way stronger than I am, I'd never win one of those! It'd have to be something more like this! Rawr!" Minney pounced forward and tried to hug Talia tightly, pushing her face into Talia's chest and trying to topple the two onto the mat.
