[Pendant Match] Standard: Adrian Kytes vs Natasha Loclear

When she was on the ball, Adrian was one of the fastest wrestlers in the company, and although her chest was still stinging like hell, she wasn't about to let that stop her gloating about it. "Ha! No fancy slip and slide counter for that one hu-whaa!" She ended up being pulled to the ground by her ankle growling "Shut up." at Natasha as she tried to pull herself away and back to her feet. Lesson learned: only gloat when your opponent is fully out of it and not just got her leg slightly trapped underneath yours.

Natasha liked to think she had a counter for any situation she might find herself in, but having her leg stepped down in the middle of a kick was a completely new one for her. Adrian was right this time, she didn't have any fancy move to get out of this one, but even so she was not without her options as she grabbed onto the girl's ankles and yanked them out from under her sending Adrian falling onto her back. She did not release both of the woman legs however, instead moving both hands onto Adrian's right ankle as her own legs went to wrap around the leg for a classic knee bar submission hold.

"No-nonoononononono arrrgh!" Adrian screamed as she tried to block the kneebar, but it was too late: she was already put off by Natasha's unbalancing attacks and the kneebar was going to get locked in no matter what she tried, leaving the cosplayer to scramble towards the ropes to try and get a break that way.

Listening to Adrian scream in pain Natasha had to focus on the task at hand and push the woman's voice from her mind, yanking back on the cosplayer's leg to apply as much pressure as she could. In the middle of the ring as they had been Adrian had a ways to go to get to the ropes, but the bad part about a knee bar was it left the other girl's arms free to drag them towards the side. Continuing to hold onto the captured leg with one arm Natasha pushed against the mat with the other, looking to slow their progress and keep Adrian locked in as long as she could.

Adrian's screams eventually stopped as the cosplayer grit her teeth and tried to regain her dignity as she pulled herself and Natasha closer to the ropes. dammit, why'd they have to be so far away she groaned inwardly before being forced back into the painful reality as Natasha tried to pull the two back to the dead centre of the ring.

One arm vs two when it came to deciding which direction to go wouldn't win but the important part is that it'd slow the cosplayer down, and she couldn't last in this hold forever, even now she dreaded having it looked at and just how much damage had been done already, she had to try a different way out. Grabbing one of Natasha's own legs, she tried to get the two to flip over so the cosplayer could be sitting down almost, then use her free leg to kick and push Natasha's hips off from her left knee and break the hold that way.

Natasha may not have liked Adrian very much since the girl's entrance into the ring but she had to respect her for regaining her composure, almost able to see the gears turning in her head as she looked for a way to escape. On her end Natasha kept up the pressure and did her best to slow Adrian down, the longer the cosplayer was in this hold the more damage she could inflict on her leg, taking speed and power away from the woman for the rest of their match if she did it right.

She saved her breath and continued to stay quiet, focusing on keeping Adrian in this hold even as she switched tactics by grabbing onto her leg. Natasha could see what Adrian was planning but there wasn't much she could do to stop it, trying to continue the roll to put them both back where they started, but it didn't quite work out, Natasha finding herself on her front as the woman began to kick out with her legs to try and break the hold.She pulled once more on the woman's leg to attack the knee before unwrapping her legs from around Adrian's own leg, but with her hands pushing hard against the mat she brought her body rising up as she kicked out with her feet looking to hit Adrian's chest or head to knock the cosplayer back so she could then get back to her feet.

Adrian winced as Natasha gave her one last pull before her escape attempts finally succeeded in dislodging Natasha, breathing a sigh of relief at getting her leg free only to be kicked in the chest. That was probably one of the worst starts Adrian had ever had to a match. Her right leg was seriously killing her and Natasha hadn't taken a single thing. At this point, it was better for the cosplayer to get out and regroup, resuming pulling herself out of the ring, with her good leg this time to assisst, she'd try and roll out of the ring and try to walk on the outside when she had the space.

Natasha wasn't the type of person who took pleasure in causing others harm, but in this case even she felt a bit of satisfaction as her feet struck the woman's chest full force to throw her back. Lnaind with an "omph" as her front landed back flat on the mat, Natasha then rolled over onto her back before leaping up onto her feet in classic martial arts style. Before she could continue her attack however Adrian took a tactical retreat, rolling out of the ring to take a little tour around it.

She had seen this move before plenty of times, at this point she was supposed to roll out of the ring herself and chase after her, only to get thrown against the steps or the crowd wall. Choosing to wait for Adrian instead Natasha threw her hands up to pose for the crowd, listening to them cheer her on as she kept turning to keep her eyes on Adrian. The moment the cosplayer would try to get back into the ring Natasha would rush over and aim a drop kick right at the woman's midsection.

Adrian started limping on the outside, trying to get some feeling other than pain in her leg while she had a bit of breathing room, tail between her legs as she retreated on the outside, scowling as Natasha got up with ease and posed instead of trying to come outside of the ring. She had the biggest advantage in the centre of the ring where her submissions and counters could be used to their best effect without any breaks being forced. Still recovery time was recovery time and it gave her time to plot a way back into this match.

Grabbing the ropes she tried teasing coming back in, pulling herself back up to the apron, only to drop down to the floor when Natasha charged in with the dropkick, leaving her to whiff and Adrian to try and pull one of the Russian's legs over the bottom rope and snap it down, hoping to tweak her hamstring in retaliation for the kneebar.

Natasha cried out as her feet missed their mark entirely this time, falling down onto her back all for nothing as Adrian had tricked her there. Rubbing her lower back she went to roll herself backwards but felt an unexpected obstacle as Adrian grabbed onto her left leg and snapped it down against the bottom rope. "Owwww!" Natasha cried out as she pushed off the bottom rope and finally managed to roll backwards towards the center of the ring, holding her lower leg which felt sore as she pushed herself back to her feet. She placed the left foot down on the mat and winced for a moment as she put pressure down upon it, dealing with the pain as she waited for Adrian to come back into the ring.
