Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

2/3 Submission Counts Anywhere Match
Victory Conditions: submission counts anywhere in the arena

Rain was getting herself ready for her final match with Cassie Elliot. She puts on her red/white one-piece swimsuit with red kneepads and white kickpads. Then, she started fixing and adjusting everything so it was just right. Once Rain was done with that, tears started to run down her cheeks as this is will be her last match for AFW where she retires from the ring. Rain heads out towards the hallway until she came up towards the curtains that blocked off the arena’️s entrance gate. She then stood there to take a deep breath.

The arena lights flashed bright red and white all over the arena. Her farewell music started to play from the speakers, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2sOpyF1nF4.

Moments later Rain walked her way to the entrance, hearing the crowd cheers softly for her. She stood on the stage the golden sparks rained down behind her. Rain smiled sweetly with her eyes closed and then quickly frowns afterwards.

Rain then slowly walked her way down the ramp with a sorrowful look on her face. Once at ringside, Rain stared at the crowd with sadness. She then walked over and up the steel steps. Rain then steps through the middle and top ring ropes to enter the ring. Once inside the ring, Rain got off her knees and ran to a nearby corner ring ropes. From there, she started performing flying double knee attacks into the top turnbuckle thrice.

Rain calmly waited for her opponent to make their entrance.

Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Re: Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66KhzUMY8gE:1j4jjra3]Cassie's music signaled her arrival[/url:1j4jjra3], and a moment later the petite Canadian bounded onto the entrance ramp, full of sunshine and cheer. She struck a pose with her feet spread apart and her fists on her hips, like a superhero, and then threw both hands over her head with a big grin. The crowd cheered, even those who had never heard of her before.

She was alone as she happily marched her way down the ramp to the ring. She'd told her manager Mamouru to sit this one out, because it was Rain's last match and she wouldn't have anyone with her. She looked up at her opponent, and at the obvious sadness on her face, and despite having never met the girl before she was sorry to see her go.

She rolled under the bottom rope and stood in the middle of the ring, raising her arms and bowing to the crowd. Rain wasn't gone yet, last match or not, and Cassie was going to give her a match worth remembering. She was excited when she heard that the girl was a submission specialist like herself, but just watching her warm up it looked like she was still more well-rounded than Cassie. At this point, though, she was getting used to dealing with the more rough-edged, pro wresling bruiser-types. The match itself was best of three falls, submissions only, and Cassie fully intended on taking it 2-0, retirement match or not.

She grabbed her cape and pulled it across while she spun and dropped to one knee, striking a dramatic pose before deftly unbuttoning the cape at her neck and throwing it off with a flourish while she stood. She skipped back to her corner and folded her cape neatly before placing it under the turnbuckle and out of the way, and then she went back across the ring to Rain.

She clasped the girl's hand with both hands and bowed to her, and then gave her a smile. She was much bigger than Cassie. From far away, she hadn't noticed. The thought of the challenge excited her.

"One more time?" She said softly, and then reached up to tousle Rain's hair before taking her place on her side of the ring and waiting for the bell.

Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Re: Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

Post by ArcherGurl Sat May 04, 2013 9:48 pm

As Rain sees how Cassie makes her entrance, Tsunami started clapping her hands for Elliot with a smile on her face. Tsunami also wipes the tears from her eyes. Rain wish for the best for both her and Cassie to make this one of the greatest matches of their career. She hopes her friends are watching this match as it goees underway.

As Cassie clapsed her hand with a bow and smile, Rain smiled back to the fellow submission expert.

As the bell rang, Tsunami started tuck-jumping thrice known as the triple tuck jump and slowly moved out her corner. "Let's have a great match!" Rain said as she takes a grappling stance.

Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Re: Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

Cassie crouched down and when the bell rang she turned a forward roll and stayed low as she approached. Her size disadvantage meant that she had to be careful not to get bullied into a bad position, but being shorter would help her, depending on how the fight started. She stayed in a half-crouch while she moved to the middle of the ring.

She didn't answer Rain, or even acknowledge that she had said anything. Her face was blank, her mind working, and she was completely focused. Only one thing in the world mattered, and it was standing in front of her.

Just to test the waters, she took a deep lunge-step in and reached like she was going to grab for Rain's ankle.

Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Re: Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

As the match goes underway, Rain was a bit confused for a minute there at Cassie's movements.

Then, Tsunami spots Cassie lunges at her as if she's attempting a takedown. Therefore, Rain scoots her own legs backwards away from Elliot, so as to land on the upper back of Cassie with a waistlock applied under the elbows and hips downwards into a sprawling position.

Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Re: Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

Rain's sprawl was pretty quick. Cassie was far enough out, she'd been cautious enough, the she was able to quickly slip out from under the bigger girl before she could flatten her against the mat. She quickly backed up to a safe distance, not wanting to press her luck too early.

So Rain was definitely watching for Cassie to try to take her down. Cassie supposed that she was expecting the same from her. Having the same specialty required a bit more creativity than usual, so that they wouldn't end up stalemating each other. For the time being, Cassie played it slow and only circled at a distance with her eyes fixed on her opponent.

Rain was about to apply a guillotine choke, but Cassie manages to slip away from her grasp from the sprawlling position. Tsunami was expecting that, epecially from a girl of Elliot's size. Then, Rain goes back into her grappling stance as she watches her opponent with caution.

Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Re: Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

Cassie took a moment to reset, and then approached again. She stayed low, with her knees bent and her hands up in front, and crept toward Rain inch by inch. When she was close enough, she took another deep step, eyes fixed on Rain's legs, but instead of reaching for them she leapt up and kicked out with both white boots at her opponent's chest.

"Ow!" Rain said taking a dropkick the chest as it bounces her back a bit. “Gotcha!” Rain said with a wink as she bends over, taking hold of Cassie’️s ankles under her armpits that drops Cassie down, back-first on the mat as in double leg takedown.

She then will try to tuck up Elliot's shins up under her arms as she stands up and try twisting Cassie slightly over, driving her knee into the back, thus further wrenching the neck. If she succeeds, she would finally step over her opponent’️s body so her oppoent is turned onto her stomach for the Boston crab attempt.

Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie Empty Re: Tsunami's Retirement Match: Rain vs. Cassie

Post by Bluemouse Sun May 05, 2013 6:18 pm

Cassie shrieked as much out of surprise as anything. By the time she thudded against the mat she was already caught. She tried to pull her legs in and coil up, but Rain was turning her. She put her hands on the mat to brace herself and strained to keep from being turned over.

"Nyaaaaah!" Try as she might, she couldn't stop her, and she quickly found herself on her stomach with her legs bent painfully up behind her. Her legs were flexible, but the pain in her lower back was already horrible. She groaned, put a palm over her face to hide her pain, and instinctively checked for Rain's legs before she began the long, agonizing crawl toward the ropes.
