K.O. Match: Johnny Higurashi Vs. Ro Laren

Johnny watched, seeing Ro stir and frowned. But the ref was close and maybe it wouldn't be enough. Unfortunately it was as Ro got herself onto the steps. Johnny shook his head. "Don't know what yer talkin' 'bout man." He said. "But you shoulda stayed down!" He bent his knees and charged. When he tackled Ro to the ground, he'd just punch her face until she was sleeping like a bay. There was no way she wasn't completely out of it from what he had already done. When he was close he took a leaping dive through the ropes and towards Ro.

“Nonsense!” Ro shouted back, though maybe it would have been a good idea. Johnny seemed ready to go, and Ro was in a lot of pain. As she watched Johnny, her eyes widened. Johnny was diving towards her, getting ready to slam her body into the steps! Ro didnâ€t even think, she reacted on pure instinct and jumped out of the way, desperate to not be smashed by Johnny flying at her! In fact, sheâ€d trip as she jumped, landing on the barley padded ground next to the stairs and scrambling to get up, not looking at what happened to John.

Johnny watched as Ro fell out of the way at the last moment. He couldn't even bring his hands up and he slammed face first into the hard steel steps. He could feel his body go limp as his eyes went black and he folded against the chrome staircase as his bleeding forehead oozed upon the metal and his body lay still, partially folded against the stairs.

“Thought you had me, didnâ€t—” Ro was about to jokingly tease Johnny a little bit, when she looked at Johnny against the steps, bleeding onto them and clearly out. Ro was somewhat shocked, she didnâ€t intend for that to happen, she just ducked out of reflex. In fact, didnâ€t even duck well and ended up falling on her face. As she climbed up, she could hear the ref counting, realizing she had a chance. She stood guarded over Johnny, a little less than a meter away, in case he got up.

“ONE!”

“TWO!”

“THREE!”

The ref continued to count as Johnny seemed to lay motionless against the steps. By the time the ref was up to five, johnny's arm moved and began to snake against the steps. A loud groan followed and by the time the ref reached the seven count, Johnny looked like he might actually begin to get up. He lifted his hand and pushed up. lifting his body off the stairs for a brief moment before he fell to the side of the steps and tumbled onto his back. He stared up at the arena lights as much as he could through the blood in his eye. he groaned again but the ref finally made it to ten and Johnny winced as he heard the bell clanging in the background. He lifted up his head and pressed it against his forehead, running his slick, blood coated hand through his silvery hair.

Ro watched vigilantly as Johnny was counted out. At first he stirred, trying to get up, and Ro stood ready to attack. She lifted her foot up in preparation for some sort of attack or stomp which would never come, for as soon as Johnny got up he fell back down again. Ro watched as Johnny landed on the ground, groaning in pain on his back. Ro had to admit, his face looked a mess. Blood was dripping down it, and it was clearly in his eyes. Finally, Johnny was counted out and the ref raised Roâ€s arm, much to the approval of the crowed. While this was happening, though, Roâ€s eyes were on Johnny who had accidentally stained his hair with his own blood.

“Red hair is pretty sweet, but thereâ€s probably easier ways to go about it.” Ro said, standing over Johnny. Smiling warmly, she bent down a bit and extended her hand, offering to help Johnny to his feet. “Almost had me there... That was a great fight.” She said, helping him up. “Hope we do it again.” Ro grinned a bit. Right now, she was just going to shake Johnnyâ€s hand and, if he needed it, help him backstage so she could split off to take a shower…after that, Ro wasnâ€t sure.

Johnny blinked as he heard the bell sound. He cursed himself. He felt like he had really dominated Ro and yet, he was the one with the loss. His fists clenched but as he tensed his muscles to sit up, he felt a rush of throbbing pain in his head.

"Uhh..." Johnny said as he suddenly heard Ro's voice and saw her standing over him. "Yeah, man." He said with a furrowed brow. Though he was glad she wasn't a bitch about it, Johnny wasn't totally in the mood for fun right now.

He sighed when he saw her hand. and took it to help himself up. "I did have ya." Johnny said, forcing a soft smile. "We will." Johnny added. "I'm not letting that stand." He growled. He then lightened up and smiled. "But yeah. It was cool, man."
