Unwinding after the Brawl

It was relatively quiet in the dressing room. Outside, the howling of the fans was just a muffled chorus, and they were busy screaming over someone else for a change. This suited Emily Nelson just fine: right now, all she wanted was some peace and quiet.

She leaned back on the bench, and winced as she felt her aching back flare up. "Bloody sasunnach," she swore, using language not suitable for Edinburgh nobility...except, that is, in private, which Emily thankfully was. Her last opponent, Dizz, had really done a number on her with those punches of hers, nailing her hard in the back, face, stomach, and breasts...she had fought dirty and had acted like a mean-spirited scoundrel all throughout. Emily had ultimately won that match with a punishing sheer braindrop, but she still felt sore where Dizz's punches had nailed her. And, she had checked, she had a couple of bruises visible on her face.

With an agonized sigh, she leaned against the wall and tried to put her mind off the hurting. She still wore her standard fuschia one-piece and matching boots and pads from the match, and she hadn't yet mustered the energy to get changed. What she needed, she decided, was a bath when she got back to her flat, or a nap, or...something alcoholic would have been nice. Very nice.

Cecilia had just finished up taking care of her own business a bit earlier for the evening, she didn't exactly have a match scheduled for tonight, but she did have an interview and some other stuff that had required her to be here and in gear nonetheless, which was a good thing in case she had to run down if someone called her out or anything of that sort.

Still the time she had spent here tonight had started to come to it's halt, and it was during that time when she caught the view of Emily's match, it seemed like it was a pretty hard fought match between Emily and the newcomers. Which brought back memories of when she was a relative newcomer and the golden haired beauty had her bout against her noble opponent. With Emily winning this match that she had tonight, Cecilia got the idea that perhaps it would be good to go and see the Scottish woman and play catch up; seeing how the two of them hadn't seen each other in a while.

With that Cecilia headed off towards Emily's locker room and once she reached the door the she would bang on it fiercely, wanting to get Emily's attention, even if she was in the shower or something. Though the banging...would probably come off sounding as if there was ill intent from how loud they were.

Emily's relaxation was interrupted when the nearby door began to bang, loudly. The Scotswoman jumped up from the bench,alarmed by the sudden noise.

"...the bloody...!" she gasped aloud, before inwardly chiding herself for using such coarse language. The banging on the door, however, had seemed more than just coarse: whoever was behind the door was banging it hard and loudly, without any decorum whatsoever. Emily stiffened when a thought crossed her mind. Whoever might be behind the door could be bearing ill-will. Dizz, come for revenge, perhaps?

"Who is it?" she called out, quietly positioning herself to the edge of the doorway, just out of sight...

When she heard Emily's voice after a while Cecilia stopped her banging, she looked upon the door a bit confused as Emily asked in such a strange tone, why would she be worried about who it was ? It seemed pretty weird to the Swedish wrestler. " Ah..." Cecilia let out in a low tone, thinking about trying to say something to Emily...but stopping herself just when she realizes she could have some fun with this. A wide grin appeared on Cecilia face as she would then attempt to move her hand back and start to bang even louder on Emily's door.

She'd band louder and louder, harder and harder, making it seem as if someone almost wanted to bash in the door of Emily's locker room. Cecilia would keep up with her banging, attempting to try and make it so loud that even people around the are would hear it. Perhaps her teasing had started to go a bit too far ?

At this point, Emily began to feel a little worried. Most other people in AFW would have answered by now, but whoever was at the door was still banging incessantly. She felt goosebumps prickle on the back of her neck. She didn't like this, not one bit. "Answer me, damn ye!" she growled. "Who's out there, and what the bloody hell do ye be wanting?"

She would wait a few seconds for a reply. If the mystery person declined to answer again, and instead kept knocking, then she would try to catch the person by surprise by opening the door suddenly, in the hopes that whoever it was would lose their balance and come toppling forwards.

Hearing Emily growl out her those words, seemingly wanting an answer and seeming either scared or pissed off. Which was good as that was what Cecilia's little joke was meant to accomplish. She would stop for a little bit though, wondering if she should just tell Emily that it was her old pal Cecilia. However that wasn't as fun for the beautiful blond.

For that reason, Cecilia would just go back to pounding on the door even harder than before. However, as she was pounding on the door it soon enough came swinging open...which Cecilia had sort of expected, and for that reason she was able to catch herself from stumbling forward too much, as she'd pretty much only get halfway through the door way, with it she'd lean forward and then wave her hand into the locker room. " Evening ~" Cecilia would say with a teasing grin plastered upon her face.

Emily jumped. She had been expecting someone like Dizz on the other end, but instead it was someone...all too familiar...

"Eh...Cecilia?" she gasped. "What the bloody...why didn't ye answer when I asked who it was?" Not that she minded seeing Cecilia again, but she also suspected that the Swede had done this deliberately to annoy her. She opened the door fully to let Cecilia in. "Have ye gone daft from so many bumps to the head already?"

Emily gave Cecilia an annoyed frown. "Well, I'm glad you found my being startled so bloody funny," she muttered. "Hardy har har. Ye might as well come in then."

She stepped back to let Cecilia in then, and smiled at her follow up comment. "Why thankee, ye're too kind," she with a sarcastic tone, "it makes me all so happy to hear high praise from an almighty champion like yerself." She swept some of her pink hair back with one hand. "I've been well, thanks for asking."

Emily sure was cute when she frowned and muttered in that annoyed / hurt manner, it was too much for Cecilia not to chuckle at the sight of it when she walked into the locker room past her friend. When she was finally inside the blond wasted no time to walk up to the nearest bench, she spun around on the ball of her heels and then dropped down onto her the bench, lying aligned to it with her arms crossed behind her head to form a headrest for her.

" Uh huh." Cecilia let out as she looked up at the ceiling while she got to listen to Emily's sarcastic tone. Following by the girl's statement, it had already been almost a month since she had lost her championship to Brittany. Cecilia sighed out and then shook her head a bit, " Boy Em, you sure like putting your foot in your own mouth when you're around me don't you ? " Cecilia teased, she pressed her feet against the bench and bent her legs so that her knees were high up into the air, crossing her right leg over her left as she had the former's foot bounce lightly in the air. " Not that it's a bad thing, it's a rather cute trait about you...perhaps it's what makes you a bit moe. " Cecilia laughed out following her words, grinning as she then turned her head slightly so she could look on at Emily. " Don't worry about it though, win some lose some. Right ?" Cecilia said with a half hearted smile as she looked on at her friend and rival.
