The Air Raid Siren vs. Songbird

Songbird laughed a little before replying, "Well, I'll do that once we have a rematch. I don't easily let a loss slide you know." She didn't mind the kiss for she knew it was a friendly one. Then Songbird would lower Gemma's arm to offer a hand saying, "And if you ever need a friend, ally, and tag team partner, you can call on me anytime. That is, if you want to."

Gemma smiled, warmly, her chest swelling with pride at the audience's adulation and the unexpected camaraderie of her opponent. "I'd like that," Gemma grinned, as she tried to collect herself. "In fact, any time you need me, I'll be there. No matter what." Tonight had been the hardest-fought match of Gemma's life, and it went better than she could have possibly hoped. She was lucky to have had a first opponent like Songbird, and now to apparently have her as an ally.

Gemma stepped onto the ring ropes as the crowd cheered, raising her arms in victory and trying to choke back the aching muscles that had suffered so much to get her to this point. Soaking in the AFW arena's approval, Gemma felt that despite her fears she was more than ready for whatever the AFW had to throw at her. At least, this is what she believed, taking in the sweet thrill of her first victory.

At the same time, Songbird smiled and nodded on as she too went out of the ring. She got cheers from the audience as well for being a good sport and fighting so well. As she was walking, she hope that they'll cross each other soon and fight again.
