Idol Hands

"I just want you to achieve victory, Parker-san. I know you will. You couldn't make her apologize even if you wanted to though." Mai nodded. "You'll see." Mai then looked at Taylor, tilting her head a bit.

" Her manager. She's not just Iron Maiden's manager. In a way, you'll be fighting two people. But... if you can break their connection, you may even have an easy night ahead of you."

Mai bowed her head. "Banzai, Parker-san!" Mai flashed Taylor a wide V and a grin. "I'll let you get back to getting ready, ok?"

Taylor nodded slowly. She didn't really understand. So Iron Maiden's manager had a habit of getting involved in her matches? Not surprising. But then, you'd think that if you were managing some giant she-beast, you'd just let them handle things and stay out of the way. Maybe Iron Maiden was just really stupid and needed someone to hold her hand.

"Thanks, dude, thanks for stopping by. Maybe I'll break her nose for you, right?" She laughed, and then went back to her warm ups. Once her body was moving well and feeling good, most of her preparation was mental. She closed her eyes and let her feet carry her around the open space in her room, feeling her balance and how it shifted while she flitted this way and that, dancing around an imaginary opponent and always keeping them a step behind.

She visualized different scenarios, all the things a big, dumb giant might try, and what she would do to deal with them. She imagined the feeling of flying through the air and smashing her knee into the woman's chin, ducking under her grasping hands and circling to her blind side, planting a foot on her knee and jump up to knee her in the face from there.

It was all pretty simple. Taylor would put her down and then she'd be the girl who beat the giant who beat 400 idols at once. Idols were a lot of things to a lot of people, but top notch fighters they were not. How much trouble could this Iron Maiden chick possibly be? Wherever she was, she was probably shaking in her boots thinking about having to face Taylor Parker.

Mai bowed to Taylor. "Arigatou. Just do your best, Parker-san!" She chirped, and turned her body to leave. But then she stopped and watched Taylor. The way she closed her eyes and danced around the room. Mai couldn't help but giggle. "Parker-san, the next time I try and tour, you should come as a back up dancer, you're quite graceful." She mused with a grin.

"Oh, and I'll make sure and get you an autographed picture of Sakura-chan.... since you're such a big fan!"

Mai then bounced out of the room, raising her hand up to flash one last good bye wave. "Ja ne, Parker-san~"
