Tension Tag Tourney Round 1: The Higurashi Twins Vs. The Valkyries

Johnny grunted as Mako began to wriggle. Even her small frame made it difficult to lift while she was making things awkward. Worse yet was the elbows that she threw backwards. Johnny avoided one but was clocked with the other, loosening his grip a bit.

Still, he was relentless and pushed his face against her neck, huffing against it to keep the elbows from reaching him. Deciding to abandon the suplex, Johnny threw his arms up, to try and catch Mako's arms and transition to a full nelson hold.

Good God, Juinichi Higurashi was one stubborn man. Even if Mako missed one of the elbows, she would have thought taking one in the face would have gotten her some freedom. But nope - he just kept on hanging on, and even made it worse by locking her in a full nelson. Mako groaned as she was stretched out, forced to stand on the tips of her toes just to alleviate some of the pain. The crowd's chanting wasn't helping her, either, as they cheered on their hometown hero. Probably getting off on seeing the big shiny boyscout beat around the evil, little biker chick. Fuckers.

She tried thrashing around some more, but that wasn't getting her anywhere, and the hold was starting to make breathing a pain. Fortunately, she did see one option, right in front of her: the ropes. Mako pulled her legs up, brought her knees all the way to her chest, and gave the middle rope the hardest kick with both heels as she could manage, pushing hard and counting on them to bounce them both backwards and throw Johnny off balance. It would be a nasty fall if it worke,d but at least it would get her out.

The full nelson was a good hold and he could do a lot with it. Especially with how strong he was and how light Mako was. Lifting her up would be good, possibly into an atomic drop or some kind of toss. However, Mako was already doing him some favors as she lifted herself off the ground. Though it was awkward for Johnny and it wasn't in his favor to try and hold her like that.

When she shoved them with her legs, Johnny stumbled and lost his balance, releasing her as he fell and landed on the canvas. "Dammit." He growled, knowing he had to get to his feet fast and keep control of her.

He spun around to get to his hands and knees and try and get a hand on her. He just needed to keep her close.

Mako squirmed free on the way down as they tumbled, coming in for a hard landing on her chest. It was a sloppy move - even for her - but fuck it, it worked. She managed to escape Johnny's hold and put a momentary halt on his momentum. Not much, but she'd worked with worse and came out on top.

She rolled to her feet just as Johnny started to get back up and swivel around. In just a couple of seconds, he'd be up again and turn back into a tall pain in the ass, but while he was down on his knees, he was on her level. More manageable. If she had her way, he wouldn't get any higher.

Mako jumped on Johnny and greeted him with an elbow to the face the moment he turned her way, trying to overwhelm him and get on top. She wasn't going for a pin - it was far too early for that, and she hated winning that way, anyway. No, she wanted to get a little ground and pound going, hoping she could rearrange the features on that pretty boy face of his. Would the girls still go crazy after they'd seen him with a black eye? She was eager to find out.

"Guuuuh!"

This time, Mako's elbow hit him square. It wasn't something he could just shrug off and he collapsed backwards, falling on his back as his arms went up and covered his face. She had blasted him goo. Worse yet, he could feel her trying to mount him.

He left one hand to try and soothe his aching face while the other pushed against her chest, trying to keep her from getting the position she wanted. He didn't think he could just shove her off, but he sure was going to try.

Mako got on top of Johnny's hardened chest and reeled back to deliver a haymaker right in his face, only to find herself eating his palm before she could lower the boom on him. He was too busy checking his face to really do much with it, but it was keeping her from getting the damage she wanted.

Fine. She had other options. Excrutiatingly painful ones, too. And since he was gracious enough to offer his entire arm to her...

Mako grabbed Johnny by the wrist with both hands, slid to his side, and went for a cross armlock. Capture his biceps between her thighs, get her legs over his chest and neck to secure the hold and extend his arm, then pull back and enjoy the show. All of the strength in the world wouldn't mattter if he couldn't throw a punch.

Johnny's eyes widened when Mako yanked on his wrist. As her body shifted, he knew exactly what she was doing. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot he could do about it.

"Guaaahhhh!"

Johnny yelled in pain and slapped his free hand against her leg. Johnny gritted his teeth and grabbed her boot, trying to twist her foot, twist her ankle and pry her legs apart as much as he could.

Mako sighed as Johnny screamed, taking a deep breath and savoring the moment. Things had been so rapid that she'd hardly had a moment to catch up and consider her opponent. It was actually pretty rare for her to be around anyone who spoke Japanese fluently, so she figured she might as well take advantage.["Well, that was fun."] Her native tongue came out harsh through her grizzled voice. She huffed and gave his arm a fierce jerk, putting even more pressure into the hold. Even through her gritting teeth, she managed to maintain a sweet, girlish demeanor. ["A pleasure to meet you, Higurashi-san."]

As enjoyable as this was, Johnny wasn't just going to lie there and take it. He had power, probably more in his arms than she had in all four limbs, and he was putting it to good use as he forced his way through the hold. Superior position could only get her so far. It wasn't a question of 'if' he'd get free - he would, and there wasn't anything she could do to stop it. But she could work with it.

She struggled against him for a moment, trying in vain to keep her legs together, before she suddenly gave up and let them come apart. While she held on tight to the wrist, she brought her leg up and shot her heel towards the side of his skull for a vicious kick to the temple, hoping a little head trauma might take the fight out of him.

"Gaah!"

Johnny growled again as Mako yanked back on his arm. While he struggled, he heard her speak in Japanese, almost casually. "Oh, fuck off!" He spat. Still, his cheeks red from strained, deepened their blush just a bit more. A girl like this was exactly the kind that Johnny loved fighting, so her sweet words, even if they were said sarcastically, still got his juices flowing a bit more than usual.

Still, he was focused on getting free and did so with Mako's help as she abandoned the hold, only to kick him in the face.

"Shit!"

Johnny rolled again and grabbed his face one more, this time he tried to KEEP rolling though. He was a smart enough wrestler not to let someone come at him while he was flopping around like a dead fish. He just hoped he could get away from her, maybe even out of the ring.

Stone could sympathize with Johnny.  She'd been on the receiving end of Mako's wrath years ago, and it wasn't an experience she wanted to repeat anytime soon. She was a small, tiny, fiery little ball of hate, and it was amazing how much damage she could dish out if you even gave her half a chance. He was just lucky this wasn't a street fight and that Mako actually wanted to win this, which meant she had to at least make some effort to observe the rules and couldn't bring things like chains or knuckel dusters into the equation. Otherwise, this match would have gotten a lot bloodier.

She watched as Johnny rolled out of the ring and came out only a few feet away from her, escaping Mako furious grasp for a few seconds. Stone didn't move, didn't even shift his way. Mako hadn't told her to get involved, so as far as she was concerned, she was just working security for the fight.

"Hey." She said, simple and soft, merely sparing a glance his way. She pointed over his shoulder as Mako, now with her jacket taken off and tied around her waist, rolled out of the ring and landed on the floor behind him. ["Going somewhere, Juinichi?"] She started to move towards him and brought her fists up as she neared.
