Peace Across (More) Worlds

She had no problem switching on/off whatever it was he was pointing out to her, though she mentions "If possible at one point I would like to do that...you know, to get a better feel and appreciation for everything. Please?" She would understand if it couldn't be done this time around, however the opportunity to do so she felt was there for the taking and a chance she shouldn't miss if given the chance to go for it.

Xerxan would set the directions for the station then say " are you prepared to make the jump to subspace so our journey wouldn't take 10 years just to get there" as he shows her how far the distance between her home planet and the station. If she wants to know he shows her how he was typing in the coordinates then adding where they wanted to come out then letting the AI quickly crunch the numbers then give the green light to make the jump. He would say" this may be overwhelming the first time, but it is completely safe" as soon as she is ready he pulls the switch as the stars begin to become like lines till they seem to be in a tunnel of some sort. While they move he says " I think with the AI's help I could lower the gravity in the holo chamber then give it the look of space would that be ok, but it may be a short simulation depending on how much power it draws."

She looked a bit shocked when he mentioned that if not done this way it could take them ten years to get to where they're going.  She knew however the concept of space travel and the ways people go about it to an extent.  She knew how warp/hyperdrives worked, or at least the general idea beyond them so his comment wasn't lost on her, still it was a new experience for her to go through personally.

She nodded when she was ready for him to do what he had to.  He was right in the sense that it was overwhelming at first, but she was alright.  She shook her head at the ofer of the simulation "Thanks but for something like that I don't want to fake it." She looks out the window and sighs.  Something then catches her eye and she reaches for something under where Xerxan is sitting.  It was a note Daisuke left for him.  She read since she had a feeling he had to control the ship.  Dai mentions that she had a feeling that Anya might get the temptation experience space up close and in person so she had one of those bodysuits made up for her if she wants a quick space walk if timing permits.  There was other small content that only he would get but Anya stopped reading when she heard of the surprise the Queen unexpectedly planted in the ship.

She looked at him with a look of eagerness.

Xerxan quickly said " I am sorry I wasn't sure if you been through stuff like this before " as they started to the jump which he would stand up and also say " we are on a set course now so we could move around a bit. He would completely forget to check under his seat for the note because he normally forgets that spot is even there in the first place for holding notes which he has missed numerous messages Daisuke left him as only Vel Dai Sion and Carl had full access to the ship incase he forgot plans he made.

"When we get a chance and can spare a couple of minutes can I?" she looked at him eagerly and bounced a little bit in the chair. The thought of going out in space, even if for just a few seconds excited her, and it looked like Daisuke knew what was going through her mind. Of course since Xerxan was in the driver's seat at the moment it be his call as to when and if such a time could happen, but it would please her very much so.

She handed him the note as there was other stuff on there for him to see that either wouldn't interest nor make sense to her. She was trying to control her excitement, but other than the night where she blew him, going out in space was perhaps the only thing she had her heart set on doing.

Before he got up he would say in response to her question " I can't allow you to leave the ship while we are in subspace as we only have an hour till we return to normal space then cruise into range to dock which wont take too long." He will finish with after he reads the note noticing the crate of supplies to set up a mini space walk for Anya then say" it will take some time to set up the equipment that was added which I hope Vel approved to allow you your space walk, but I should have it ready when we get close to home on our return trip." If she didn't have any objections he would stand up to head to the cargo hold so he could begin assembling the equipment to allow Anya to do her spacewalk. The AI projects herself to Anya to ask if she needed anything along with promised to keep her updated on his progress which may seem slow, but will be safe for her to use on the space walk."

She understood that at the current moment with how they were traveling that doing what she wanted now wasn't possible.  "I know, hence me saying whenever possible.  I might not know much when it comes to space related matters but I can tell just by looking and feeling how fast we are going it would be suicide to attempt that.  I don't mind waiting."

When asked by the AI she replied "Only thing I can think of is how to wear and use what I need to go out there and not die when the time comes."

The Ai would scan her then show her an image of her putting the suit on then attaching the cable with the image blurring a moment as it gained new information from where Xerxan was working. While Xerxan was working on the spacewalking equipment he was completely unaware he may of been insulting Anya by his explaining how they would get to the station with the AI using a holo display of the completed product. The minutes go by with the AI leading Anya to the cargo area to reveal he was close to finishing the special airlock that will be where her life line will be attached. The suit she would be wearing will be hanging in a locker right across from where he was working pausing only to take a drink from the water bottle near him.

She wasn't bothered by what he said really. Any info she did get was helpful, even more so when she caught up with him to see it in person. Looking at images is helpful, but it's also key to see up close what one is about to use. She gave it a small feel...it sure wasn't like anything she's seen before so this was very helpful. Part of her figured her doing this could also help her back at home. Not sure how but she had a feeling any knowledge she gained on this trip would be useful somehow.

"I appreciate you doing this for me." She stepped behind him and gave his shoulders a small rub.

When she steps behind him and places her hands on his shoulders he tenses really quickly then relaxes as if he resisted a natural reflex from before she ever met him then he says " sorry bad habbit when my mind is busy with a project a single touch brings out my reflexes from when I was much younger." He will add " the assembly is coming along very nicely" he would notice the counter the AI was projecting for him till emergence into normal space." He could offer to escort her back to the cockpit prepared to answer any questions she had about the station they were going to be arriving soon at.
