The Won Sisters

Match Type: Elimination Tag
Victory Conditions: In order for one team to win, both of their opponents must be pinned. After one person is pinned, she will have to go backstage and can no longer participate in the match in any way. Also, after the first pin, the remaining team no longer has to observe traditional tag rules - double teaming will be allowed.

* * *

The Won Siblings were off to an underwhelming start within the AFW.

They had won their first match, so the problem hardly lied with their record. One match, one victory. No, the trouble was with the nature of their win - emerging victorious in a handicap match was hardly a full display of their skill and prowess, regardless of how enjoyable it had been. Though they hardly cared about the public’s perception, the two of them had aspirations within the AFW’s meager tag team division. Simply being in it wasn’t enough. They had to excel, which meant fighting matches against those who might be a real challenge to them collectively.

They asked for a tag team match, and it seemed that upper management saw fit to grant their requests. It took longer than they would have liked, but the Won Sisters were finally seeing tag team action in their new home.

The sisters made their way down to the ring as a rising tide of boos to accompanied their music, which were all promptly ignored. The Sisters were accustomed to such poor accolades from their time among the Wrestle Angels, and they knew that their time in the AFW would be little different. It mattered little how much these dogs barked at them, they were far more interested in results and progress. Progress that would begin tonight and results that would culminate when the two of them had matching belts around their waists. The destination mattered, not the path taken to get there.

Cindy slid in under the bottom rope while Cindy stepped over the top, and they took position at the center, eyes on the entrance as their theme died down. Cindy took it upon herself to throw in something extra, however, and motioned for the referee to bring her a microphone. There was something to be said before their opponents arrived.

"Greetings." She was met with another wave of boos. Also ignored. "Before we begin, my sister and I would like to give a proposition to the team we are about to face, a way for you to save yourself a great deal of pain and degradation. Come out here. Walk to the ring. Get on your knees before your betters. Worship our feet." She held up a finger, as if speaking to an unruly child, before passing the microphone to her sister.

”Do this, and you will suffer only a moment of debasement. Refuse, and you will suffer until we grow tired of you.” Bridget eyes narrowed into darkened slits,, as a cruel smirk began to form. “This and this alone is the mercy we offer you.”

She tossed the microphone back to the referee and joined her sister in her pose, the both of them standing with folded arms and upturned noses. They did not expect their offer to be heeded, and even if it was, they would have their way, regardless. But a show of confidence could go a long way, and they understood the importance.

The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots Empty Re: The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots

Post by mnpinner Sat Feb 07, 2015 6:00 pm

A twangy guitar blared abruptly over the loud speakers as "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" filled the arena. Out onto the stage walked two women with sleeves of tribal-looking tattoos on their left arms. The woman on the left, with the red hair had a mischievous smirk on her face, and the woman on the right, with the blue hair, had a confident grin.
Spoiler:

They raised their inside arms with fists clenched and matched fists as they bumped. The two women looked at each other and proceeded to strut to the ring in sync. Lilith walked a bit seductively, while Maya walked with an air of grace. Both girls stared at the ring at their twin-like opponents. The redheaded Siren licked her lips with mischievous thoughts in her head. This was their first match together in AFW. Actually, it was their first match in AFW, period. Miss Moxie, who was still working behind the scenes, had finally convinced management to let the two women in the ring.

Both Sirens climbed up on the apron and walked towards each other until their busts, clad in their respective costumes, barely met. They grinned at each other.

"You ready to kick some ass, Maya?"

"Oh, I'm ready to earn some respect and quickly, Lilith."

The women backed up and bent between the ropes together and walked to the center of the ring. Lilith motioned to the ref who had recently caught the microphone and promptly received the device in her hand. The crowd, who were all unsure of what to expect from these women waited with baited breath. "You know? My lovely partner here and I were standing back stage and ready to come out and kick your asses when we heard your little proposition. We both took a really long time to consider it," she paused and looked at Maya, "but then we decided that pinning both of your uppity asses would be a hell of a lot more fun." Lilith's eyes got serious as she narrowed her eyes to stare down Bridget as the crowd roared in a cheer. The elder Siren handed the mic off to her partner.

"So why don't we let you and all of these people know exactly who you two will be begging for mercy from? This," she motioned to Lilith, "is the Firehawk, and I am the Goddess. You can call us the Sirens of Sin, and we'll be singing you to your doom." Maya dropped the mic as she smirked at Cindy. The two women proceeded to get up close and personal with their respective Won sister before the ref girl wiggled her arms between them to try and separate the two pairs from getting into it before the bell.

The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots Empty Re: The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots

Post by acuyra Sat Feb 07, 2015 6:35 pm

This was both discouraging and promising all at once.

On one hand, the Won Sisters would have preferred to face someone with more of a pedigree. Though they cared little for the competition here in the AFW, they did try to keep abreast of their potential opponents, and they knew enough to realize that the uppity upstarts facing them were newcomers to the ring. Rookies on their debut, inexperienced, no doubt trying to make an impressive start. The Won Sisters were new to the company, but veterans all the same, and the management should have known better than to place them against fresh talent. It was unworthy of their stature.

But, then again, with the tag team talent so lacking in Friction, perhaps it was too much to ask for. Besides, as the Sirens spoke and introduced themselves in the own, brusque way, it became abundantly clear that they were the sort of people the crowd admired. Fiery. Wild. Passionate. The  horde of sheep were behind them, which would make dragging them down to earth all the more satisfying. These two would serve as a fitting example of the Won Sister's dominance, a decent stepping stone in the path they would pave.

The two teams faced off, body to body, staring each other down as the ring began to heat up. The cruel smile across Bridget's lips grew even longer as she pressed her body against Firehawk's, exerting some of her strength and testing limits. Cindy, on the other hand, remained cool and collected as she looked into the Goddess' eyes, as if the two of them were simply old friends meeting in the street. She stayed close, yes, but her position was relaxed. No overt movements. Not yet.

" SIng? We will make you scream." She said it with a tone to match her placcid deposition, as if it was simply a basic fact. Which it was.

The referee moved in to separate them soon enough, daring to step between the four bristling hellcats. "All right, all right!" She groaned and feebly tried to push Bridget, only managing to get a single step out of her. "This isn't a Texas Tornado match! To your corners, two at a time!"

"Very well." Cindy stepped back and started to make her way to the corner. She nodded to Bridget along the way. "It is your turn to start, dear sister. Try not to hurt them too badly. I want them conscious until the end."

"I make no promises, but I will try." Bridget's gaze never turned away from Firehawk. Not for a second.  "I assume you will be the first to suffer." Her face drew even closer, so close that more than a few calls came for them to kiss, playful taunts from the monkies in the audience. "Or would you rather your friend take the beating for you?"

The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots Empty Re: The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots

A few hours earlier, when Moxxi had told the Sirens that they were to have their debut match tonight, the two mercenaries had decided to make an impact. They weren't sure whether they should play to the crowd or ambush their opponents, but in the end Moxxi was able to convince them to simply be themselves and confront their opponents head-on.

Maya merely smirked at the calmer of the two sisters. She wanted to respond with a witty remark, but the ref girl was squeezing her way between them. Maya stayed silent and nodded to Lilith, who was staring at Bridget with fire in her eyes.

The Firehawk raised up her arm with a clenched fist, which Maya met with her own. "Show her what we're made of," the Goddess said calmly before heading back to the corner and climbing between the ropes.

Lilith's eyes were focused on her opponent's as the Won sibling taunted her. She merely moved in on her opponent after having been backed away by the referee. "The only thing that I'm going to suffer is the joy of wiping that smug look off of your face," she said before mimicking a kissing motion in Bridget's direction, which earned more than a few raucous cheers before she backed up with a wide smirk on her lips. She'd keep her eyes on Bridget as she got into a readied position, waiting for the ref to ring the bell.

Bridget held her position as she stood and faced off with 'the Firehawk'. An absurd name for an absurd woman. She was bold,  yes, but boldness alone was not enough to win a match. Cunning was required. Skill. Strength. Drive. The Won Sisters had these traits in abundance, and she could see these silly women clearly lacked them.

She ignored the lewd calls from the audience and stepped back as the bell rang, moving into position as well, readying her wrestling stance. The juvenille AFW crowd expected some tawdry, gauche sex show, as usual. Instead, they would receive something far more substantial.

Bridget stared at her for a moment, as if taking in her undamaged form for one last time, before raising her hands up for a classic test of strength. Normally, she would eschew such typical moves in a wrestling match, preferring to focus on the raw brutality, but she didn't want to simply beat this joke of a woman - she wanted to overpower her, bring her to a knee and establish dominance as soon as possible. What better way then by making it clear who was the strongest in the ring.

"Tell me, little bird, from where do you fly?" She wiggled her fingers, daring the FIrehawk to accept. "What hovel of a country am I shaming today?"

The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots Empty Re: The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots

Lilith's smirk grew a little more pursed as her face became serious while the two women in the ring stared each other down. The two mercenaries had seemed to get the crowd on their side with their antics and just by being opposite two rather disliked opponents. However, if they were going to thrive in this industry, they would have to prove themselves worthy of praise.

Sure, the Firehawk wanted to have fun with their opponents, but showing that they were more than just talk was key. As she heard the bell ring, the redheaded vixen was on her toes in preparedness for whatever underhanded quick move Bridget may have up her sleeves. To her surprise, the Won sibling raised her hands for a very straight-forward offer of a test of strength. It was an honorable way to start, and a perfect chance for Lilith to show off the power that her fit frame hid.

Raising her hands up and holding them just shy of Bridget's wiggling fingers, the Siren prepared for them to lace together and begin the display. "I don't hail from any hovel of a country," she said curtly as she pushed her hands forward and laced her fingers with Bridget's before beginning to push at the pair of hands. "I flew from a little island in the Mediterranean, but I call no country home!" the Firehawk stated emphatically as she dug her boots into the mat.

Bridget was taken aback by the sudden surge in power from the Firehawk, having a far more difficult time than she would have fathomed from such a lowly looking girl. The woman was no bulging body builder, but her body held deceptive power, packed with hardened and steely muscle. For the first time in recent memory, Bridget was forced back by her foe's advance, and she could not stop her eyes from widening in surprise.

This did not last, however. She took three steps back before she planted her feet down and halted the Firehawk's march, holding her own and reaching a stalemate. Close. Too close.

"A fortunate thing, then." Bridget managed to squeeze out a few words through her growls, as she summoned as much power as she could and dug her fingernails into the FIrehawk's hands. "When you fall and we leave you laying in a sweaty mess, no country will have to endure your shame!"

The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots Empty Re: The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots

Post by mnpinner Sat Mar 21, 2015 9:46 pm

The grin slowly returned to Lilith's lips as she was able to step forward a few steps while Bridget was backpeddling. Clearly her Asian foe hadn't expected such strength from her, and it was working to the redhead's advantage. She was careful not to push her too close to the corner though, since the other Won sister resided there.

Bitter-sweetly for her on that front, Bridget planted her feet to the mat, which stopped the momentum Lilith was generating. Clearly it would be time to turn the pushing into twisting soon, but before she could even get to that point, she felt the purple-haired sibling dig her nails into her hands.

"Ow!! You cheating bitch!" she shouted before returning the favor and digging her own, albeit not sharp, nails into Bridget's hand. Should she maintain her grip, the Firehawk would slowly start to twist Bridget's hands outwards before responding to her statement, "Keep thinking up your fantasies on your own time. I'll be kicking your oriental ass until it matches your dress!"

The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots Empty Re: The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots

Bridget liked to keep her nails trimmed to a fine edge, for just this purprose. Despite the FIrehawk's petulant whining, there was no such rule against the tactic. Not one that she was aware of, at the least. Even if there was, it was hardly Bridget's fault that her nails were fine length, was it? Unlike their opponents, the Won Sibilings actually care how they were perceived in public.

"You will learn..." Bridget managed to smile for a moment before it turned back into snarl, as the Firehawk stole her own tactic and tried to press her advance. Her legs began to falter and her position worsened as the hold was forced out. "...how to speak to your betters..." She took a slight step back, losing a sliver of ground. "...dog!"

Rather than risk losing ground and giving their opponents an early advantage, Bridget decided to rely on superior tactics to decide the difference. She suddenly switched from pulling to pushing and drew the Firehawk towards her as she shot her foot up with a snap kick, trying to plant the point of her boot into the disrespectful redhead's knee. It was a short, hard shot, meant to strike the bone straight on.

The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots Empty Re: The Sirens of Sin vs. The Won Sisters - Opening Shots

Post by mnpinner Tue Mar 24, 2015 2:47 am

Lilith gritted her teeth as she poured her power into making Bridget realize that she was outmatched. To Lilith's own surprise, the Won sibling proved to be rather deceptively strong herself. The Firehawk could feel her muscles exerting a lot of their strength in order to make Bridget's own arms move even a little.

"If you expect me to learn..." she returned as the struggle continued. The fiery redhead could feel Bridget losing her stance. Just a little more and Lilith would have the Won sister where she wanted her. "...then find me my better..." she poured all of her strength into the next push as Bridget took a step back. "Bi-!"

Before the retort fully left her mouth, the Firehawk felt a sharp kick right to her bent knee. The impact alone caused the redhead to collapse down and try to free her hands to clutch the targeted joint. The crowd "oohed" at the tactic and some even booed the Won sister. The strike had left Lilith at at disadvantage early on, but she needed to rebound from this as soon as possible.
