Winning Condition: The wrestler who exits the boiler room first will be declared the winner.
Special Stipulations: No Holds Barred. No Disqualifications. The match will take place inside the arena boiler room. The winner will be declared the Friction Hardcore Champion

After the opening Ceremony, while the fans are finally settled in, inside the bowels of the arena the first match of the night is about to take place. The goal is simple: just escape. However, it is more complex than it seems. The large room is made more compact by the pipes and shadows. It's easy to get lost in the hum of the machinery and that's without someone looking to put a stop to your efforts.

Mongolia.

Fucking Mongolia.

Styx was still having a hard time processing the fact that she - a goth brawler from the ass-end of Nevada - had gone down a path that brought her to motherfucking Mongolia. It was reality. She was here, in the bowels of an arena with a name most people couldn't pronounce, dressed for war. Her usual black pants were swapped out with some baggy army fatigues, wearing a black A-shirt, carrying her knuckle dusters in one pocket and a packet of her Black Tar mist in the other. But even so, it was still hard to believe this was happening. Life was weird.

She'd followed the instructions for the match to the letter. Found the boiler room, made her way to the center while dozens and dozens of installed cameras watched her every move. The whole thing had a far different feel from any venue she'd fought in before. Poor lightening casted most of the boiler room in shadow, made it hard to maneuver, and the place was surprisingly large. It was almost like a maze - so many dead ends and false turns, so many palaces that looked like other places, and it didn't help that all the signs were in Mongolian. Tight spaces, save for a loading dock in the back, and with all the various tools and equipment strewn about, any fight in a place like this was destined to be a chaotic mess.

Good. Great.Perfect.

This was exactly the sort of fight Styx wanted, even if she'd been forced into it by the referees. The crowds were far away, too distant to be an annoyance. No distractions. No referees to screw shit up. Two women entered, but only one who would be leaving on her feet. What more could you ask for?

The table was set, and all she needed was an opponent to share the mayhem with. But that would be coming soon.

Styx slowly paced back and forth, getting a little faster with each passing second, as the anticipation began to weigh down on her. Adrian was be there soon. Finally. Styx had been wanting this shot for so long, gone through so much to get what was rightfully hers. She was the real hardcore champion, the only wrestler worthy of the title, and this was her chance to prove it beyond any shadowed doubts. With no time limit to worry about, she could take her time and make the masses watch as she demolished their spunky heroine.

The whole scenario felt like a gift on Christmas morning, and Styx was aching to unwrap it. She grabbed a crowbar that was lying nearby and started to bang the pipes on the wall of the corridor she was currently in. Loud, raucous, and it made her ears hurt a bit, but that was the whole point. The noise echoed throughout the boiler room, and if Adrian was around, she’d known which way to go. The less time Styx spent playing hide-and-seek, the better.

Adrian took a deep breath as she walked down the twisted metal corridors in the depths of a boiler room in a Mongolian Arena, it was as close to the middle of nowhere as she could get, something out of a horror movie. A poor little woman running through the walls of pipes and cables, keeping an eye out for the ravenous monster that stalked the halls. The question is she thought as she heard the echo of metal smacking on metal which one of us is gonna be the monster here? The Hardcore champion hadn't traveled to Mongolia just to get beaten up and left for dead, she wanted to not only prove to River why she was the one with the title, she also went to reclaim what the bald brawler had stolen from her.

Wearing her old black vest for a bit of extra padding, she carried a small piece of lead pipe in her left hand, a poison mist cartridge and sheet of flash paper slipped into her wrist bands, a loaded elbow pad on her right arm and a lighter clipped to the waistband of her tights. Adrian was pulling out all the stops for this one as she headed towards where the noise was coming from, smacking her own pipe along the walls, as though this was a big game of Marco Polo.

CLANG!CLANG!

Styx paused in mid strike when she heard the distant retort to her own banging. Not quite what she'd expected, really, given how gung-ho Adrian had been the last time they'd been in close proximity. She'd thought the ‘hardcore champion’ would come barreling towards her like the complete idiot she really was, but it seemed like she'd found some common sense in the past few days. Tad bit irritating, but Styx could work with it.

”Hey, Adrian.” Styx’s gravely voice sounded as pleasant as she could possibly make it, and it bounced all around the boiler room’s labyrinthine walls. ”I get that you're pissed off about me fuckig you up at your little circle-jerk with Gwen and the Smurf. And sure, I nearly knocked your girlfriend’s teeth down her throat. Bet that’s messed up your spooning time.”

Styx started to walk down the hall, heading towards where she was 80% sure Adrian was. She dragged the crowbar behind her, letting it skid along the floor, making the sharp, painful noise of metal scratching around rock. ”But what I don’t get is why you care so much about the little toy belt I took. You do know it doesn’t actually count for a single damn thing, right?”

Adrian scowled as the clang of metal on metal was replaced by distant trash talking, getting progressively louder as the champion moved in. "Does sentimental value mean anything to you?" She called out in retort, hearing the scraping coming really close to her, guess that meant the match was about to be underway officially soon enough. Getting a view of a moving shadow in between the pipes she took off, the sound of footsteps getting louder as she brought her pipe up for a big swing "Hey! Asshole!" she cried as she leapt forward just as River's bald head came into view, aiming to take it off in one fell swoop.

Styx scoffed and wished Adrian could see the look on her face. ”Not a damn thing.” She paused to crush a passing roach that was unfortunate enough to get within her boot’s range, then continued on the warpath.. [color=#000000]”It’s just a stupid word for stupid people who-”[color]

Adrian’s battle cry was the only earning Styxx received, and it was still barely enough to keep her head from getting caved in. She managed to juke to the side and let the pipe hit the edge of her shoulder, hitting some bone - it sucked, but not quite as bad as a concussion would've.

”Fuck!” She cursed and spat as the pain coursed down her arm and forced her to let go of the crowbar. Instinct and rage took over, though, and she lashed out with a wild lariat, trying to club Adrian in the face with the crock of her elbow.

First blood went straight to Adrian, as her weapon of choice smacked into River's shoulder. Not the headshot she was hoping for, but it wiped the smile off the bald brawlers face for a brief moment and sent... what looked to be a crowbar sailing away. Success! However: even without any blatent weaponry equipped River could still really dish out the damage, Adrian had just about recovered from the leaping smack just to see River's arm coming straight towards her.

"UGH!" The champion grunted as she was knocked back and down to the cold concrete floor. A quick reminder of why she didn't immediatley jump straight at River in their first match. The Bald brawler was as tough as nails, whatever big plan anyone had or an opening salvo was never going to be enough to really put the hurt on her, and such a reckless assault had left her open to get smacked across the hall.

Scrambling back to her feet she abandoned the idea of going in weapons swinging, her pipe was somewhere else, maybe locked in battle on the boiler room floor with River's crowbar or something, and went again at River. This time the former cosplayer kept low, looking to dart around to the side and start on the task of chopping the bald brawler down to size, sending a quick kick to the side of River's knee.

Well, Adrian had managed to piss Styx off in near-record time. The only person to do it faster would be Brittany, and to be fair, Lukretia's gave her a lot of help. It might’ve helped her mood if she watched the hardcore champion reeling from her blow, but she wasn’t given the luxury. She was busy rubbing her soon-to-be bruised shoulder. Styx grit her teeth as she backed away for a moment, hissing at the raw pain running down her shoulder. Nothing she couldn’t fight through, but she would’ve liked to be the first one to get a hit in with this match. Instead, she’d taken a solid blow without even a minute on the clock. Not good.

She needed to get on the good track, and she thought the best way to do that was with a right hook across Adrian’s jaw. She threw it, but her target had moved out of the way before it could connect, and all she got for her troubles was  a kick in the leg, swift and surprisingly hard.

Styx started to drop to her knee, but only started. Before she went all the way down, she surged up and reached out, trying to close in on Adrian and wrap her arms around the smaller woman with a bearhug. She didn’t have any specific moves in mind just yet to follw up with, but she could worry about that in a moment. The first step to winning was getting her opponent nice and close.

Adrian had wanted to get close up with the bald brawler, but a bearhug was a big blow to her sense of personal space. And her ribs. Ow... "...gah... thought you wanted to fight it out..." the champion growled as she squirmed around in River's tight bearhug, trying to wriggle her arms free from her grasp "Not hug it out..!" Even as the air was squeezed out of her, it would take a lot more than that to stop Adrian's big mouth from making the situation worse for herself.

Styx didn't exactly relish the position, either, especially since it was actually hurting her to keep it up. As much as she really, almost perversely, enjoyed watching Adrian Kytes writhe in pain, her shoulder burned hotter and hotter every second she kept it up, and the wiggling was making her waste energy. She was too tough to be beaten like this, anyway.

She had to release the wannabe champ. But she didn't have to do it gently.

”Want me to let go?” She looked over her shoulder to make sure the positioning was just right, as a wicked smile started to cross her face. [color]”Fine.[/color]

Styx suddenly jerked around and tossed Adrian like an overstuffed bag of trash, sending her flying into a nearby supply closet.
