Anne Sachman probably didn’t know anything about Aisha, but Aisha knew a good deal about Anne Sachman.

After her last loss - the third in a series - Aisha decided to handpick her next opponent. She needed a good win to get her back into the swing of things and convince people she knew how to throw down. There were plenty of women in the AFW she could beat, she realized that, but she needed a victory that meant something. Someone who was impressive enough to make heads turn and get people talking about the Dancing Sistah once again. Someone to make an example out of.

Anne Sachman was the perfect fit. Skilled, strong, yeah, but in MMA. She was a striker, which was something Aisha did well, but unlike Anne, she had a lot of experience in wrestling. It wouldn’t be easy,     but in a wrestling ring, she could take the win. No doubt in her mind. Plus, Anne was young enough that a loss against a veteran wouldn’t put her down too much. Aisha would get her boost, and the newbie would get an important lesson.

As Aisha’s music started up, but there was none of the spectacle that the audience had grown accustomed to it. No DJ getting the people pumped,  no backups dancers to flank Aisha on her way to the ring. She didn’t sing, she didn’t shake her behind, she didn’t flirt with some lucky guy in the audience. She simply walked out from behind the curtain, made her way down the ramp and slid on in under the bottom rope. She wasn’t even dressed in her usual attire, trading out the usual pants and bikini for a pair of gold and black MMA trunks, along with a workout bra that matched them.

The crowd was confused with a few disappointed boos mixed in, but Aisha didn’t pay them much mind. Her eyes were focused on the ramp, looking towards it as her music began to die down. She bounced on her toes and let her arms flop about, shaking away some of the last minute kinks. Aisha was ready. Aisha was determined. She swore to herself, no matter what happened, she was going to be the one standing when it was all said and done. She was going to make an example of the poor, little muy thai maven.[/center]
