Home 7: Stage Setter

Clyde nodded. "'Course I can take care of ma'self!" Clyde said proudly. "And I'll do my best ta' take care of y'all too!!" He said as he smiled a the group before turning to Anampo and noticing the cute young girl with bunny ears, she was quite an adorable gal and her greeting made him blush a little before he lifted his hat.

"Thank ya, ma'am!" Clyde said with a beaming grin. "Thanks fer lettin' me have yer company!"

"Nick!" Juniper calls. "Sit forward. I ain't trying to have my baby pulled over. This bus gets that, youre getting one of these!" She raises a fist in the air for a moment.

After Nick turned around, Anampo let her soft eyes land on Clyde again. She catches the end of his blushing. "Not many men get to have that. Uh...Especially not champions. Youre only the second champion I've gotten to know." She pauses and looked away. "Though I dont know much about you..."

Clyde didn't know how to... Act right now. Here he was in the same bus as a girl who liked him A lot. Clyde took a look at Juniper for a moment. He remembered telling her that he was waiting on Mercy and couldn't be in a relationship but now that was over and his life was more complicated than ever.

Now he was sitting next to a pretty Bunny. Looking at her reminded him that he was still quite the dog.

"The second is still pretty good, ma'am." Clyde said. "I'm Tension's champ, but other than that, there ain't much about me... I'm Clyde. What's yer name?" Clyde asked as he offered his name to the bunny girl.

Juniper was to focus on her driving. Jay was flipping through the radio stations. "You got an input input satellite radio?" Juniper pointed to the glove box. Nick was on his phone, Minchin away on a chocolate bar.

Anampo smiles softly. "My name is Anampo Yatgra. And I know, you are Clyde Gastin..."


Conza trudged. He looked around the complex. He looked down for a moment before his head snapped to look up at the sky. "AAAAAAHHHH! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Never again would Conza take a job from Nick Solem without being compensated. But he still had a duty to find Lina Inverse.

But also, he was hungry.

Conza went across the street. An all you can eat buffet that was visited by many AFW wrestlers. They made a killing. Conza got a table, and a plate with mashed potatoes, duck and corn. He sat down after.

As Conza was beginning, Lina and Daisuke were in another part of the building about to finish up...or at least Daisuke was. Lina looked like she was far from done as she got up to get some more. Daisuke follow her, opting to find something light for this round while Lina refills on the meat n stuff.

When they sit down again, Lina asks Daisuke if she can help her with a little bit of clothes shopping. She wants to find something breath taking for when she sees Jay next and wants to see if she can find anything good in this part of the world.

Conza had gone through his food rather fast. How come he had never been here before? It was so good!

On his second plate up, Conza spotted someone. He was instructed by Jay to find a 'beautiful redhead who dresses like that one anime.'. While that didnt really help at first, Conza understood when he saw her.

Setting his plate down and grabbing rhe letter, Conza walks up to Lina and hwr friend's table. "Miss Lina? I uh...Have a letter for you. From Jay."

Usually Lina didn't like to be interrupted when food was involved. Before she could say anything however she heard 'Jay' be said and that got her direct attention rather than partial. "From him?" This confused her. Wouldn't he just call her if he wanted to say something, unless Jay was plotting something either good or bad. She became a bit suspicious and asked "How do you know my boyfriend, and how did he put you up to this?"

Daisuke stays quiet, but keeps an eye on Lina, just in case he decided to enter full interrogation mode.

"My name is Conza. He is a friend of mine. And a friend of both of us put him up to this. Ive been looking for you for half the day. Here you go." He hands her the letter with a bow.

Lina. I am not a good writer. I did not get too high in school. Maybe like 8th grade. Nick told me to write a letter because it would be more formal.

If I dont call or see you for a few days its because I left with Nick and some others to do a mission of some sort. I have my phone so you can text me. But please do not call. And if I dont come back in a few days then....I died. But I ain't gonna die. I cant leave you behind. And I feel like yo would never forgive me and would beat my ass in the afterlife.

She didn't doubt who he was, to send someone on a wild goose chase didn't sound like something would do she thought. Wouldn't he call her and ask her where she was first, or at least ask a friend of hers where she might be? Seems kind of unfair to this Conza person. Still she took the envelope and opened it.

The first part of it she wasn't sure what to think. He could tell her anything, she didn't see a need for a letter if was something important. When she read the rest of it she had a look of shock on her face. Sure he wording wasn't the best but she was able to enough sense out of it that he was leaving. She turned to Conza and went to shake him. "Where's my boytoy?!" she stops for a second or two or two before continuing"er I mean boyfriend?!" "Where did he go? What do you know? Tell me!" Good thing Daisuke was there to pull them apart so Lina didn't end up injuring the guy. "Take it easy Lina, easy." She gets Lina to let go and asks to see the letter. She then asks for Conza to sit and explain what's going on. She isn't sure if he even knows anything, but anything, even if the detail is small, might help matters.

The part where it said not to call only made Lina want to phone him up anyway. She begins to shake a little bit, feeling confused and concerned.

Conza didnt really want to take a seat. But he had a moral obligation to do so. He had explained things to Ryan and Clyde. The least he could do was the same for Lina.

Conza was shaken a bit. If that happened one more time, he swore he would beat someone senseless. Although that was a thought from a 4' 7" man... Conza sat down. "I dont know where or why they went. I am just about as in the dark as you are, Miss Lina. It seems that the Tension Champion Clyde Gastin went with them, so I am sure they will be just that much safer."

The man seea her visibly shaking. He puts a hand on her hand. "He'll be okay."
