Daisuke Takeuchi vs Grace Allen

It was oh-so-satisfying to hear the surprise in his voice, along with the meaty *THUD* of a body slamming onto the mat, back first, but Grace knew she had only seconds to capitalize on the situation. She rolled off of her back, onto hands and knees, and sparred a quick glance at her opponent. Daisuke was already sitting upright, facing away from her, one arm reaching back to clutch at a no doubt aching back.

Time to show what I can do.

The thought wasn't just for Daisuke, who'd arrogantly decided to make an example of her, but for the cheering crowd as well as all the other competitors in the back. This was her debut, her chance to show everyone who she was. Unless she got careless and let Daisuke ruin it by forcing a submission from her lips.

Scrambling to her feet, Grace ran towards the ropes directly in front of her. She bounced off of them with practiced ease, accelerating as she ran towards the back of the seated Daisuke. Grace would then try to jump clear *over* Daisukes head and continue running into the ropes in front of him, looking to bounce off them as well for that last bit of momentum before leaving her feet, aiming a low drop-kick for the center of his chest.

The prince was caught off guard by his opponent's strength. He felt embarrassed that he wasn't able to push Grace back and because of that, he was at a lost for words for the time being- something he wasn't really comfortable with at all. Losing his concentration and cool, he decided to go all out and try to power his way through her, which only caused him to play into her trap as he was baited into an excellent monkey flip which send him flying over and down onto his back.

As his back hit the mat he quickly went to a seated position, moaning and clutching his back. He shook his head, looking to try and make his way up on his feet when he soon felt a figure jump over his head, making him stop dead in his track as he was a bit confused on what just happened until he saw a running Grace charge at him from afront and his chest was smacked by a low drop-kick

*THAWK*

He let out a loud moan as he was sent back on his backside, his arm wrapped around his chest as he rolled over onto his back, trying to roll close to the ropes.

Grace Allen was on her feet with startling speed. Her ring style was all about momentum, and once on the attack she rarely let up for second. 

She saw Daisuke rolling towards the ropes, after the more then satisfying way her drop kick connected. Perhaps he was looking to escape the ring for a breather, or maybe just wanted to use the ropes to use as leverage. Either way, she could give him a helping hand... so to speak. 

Grace launched herself towards the ropes opposite Daisuke, bouncing off smoothly and running towards him. She dropped down into a baseball slide, hoping the kick, if managed it, would knock the wrestling prince underneath the bottom rope and right out of the ring!

The momentum shifted into Grace's favour after she suckered the prince into thinking he was winning the lock up- after flipping him over her and send him down on his back, she landed a quick drop kick to his chest to send him down on his side, making him roll over to the ropes to latch onto them for a rope break and get some breathing space.

However, Grace wouldn't allow him to get his bearings back as she quickly picked up speed and began to ran towards the opposite set of ropes, bouncing off them she ran faster and then slid low, going for a baseball slide that struck the prince against the side of his arm and waist as he was kicked out of the ring, from under the bottom ropes and down onto his back on the outside padded mats

*THUD*

"Gaahh! Oww...." he groaned, clutching his back and gritting his teeth.

Grace almost charged out of the ring after him. Instead she decided to climb up on the turnbuckle and sit there, watching Daisuke writhe in pain on the mat with a playful smile.. "So! When were you gonna start embarrassing me, your majesty? You don't look so tough from where I'm sitting."

Normally, Grace Allen wasn't one to rub an opponents face in their own misfortune, but she could always make an exception for arrogant bullies. The fans in the first row were alternating between cheering for Grace, who waved to the crowd with both hands from her loft position, to jeering Daisuke for letting a girl get the better of him. "Come on, Prince. On your feet!"

With the prince rolling out of the ring from under the bottom ropes after being hit with that baseball slide, his back slammed against the thinly padded mats outside the ring. He groaned in pain, really being taken to the test as Grace was going full on- not really letting Daisuke get in his grove. He knew she was a tough one but he didn't realize how good she was until he actually stepped in the ring with her.

He clenched his teeth in anger at her words, slowly pushing up to a seated up position, shaking his head trying to clear the cobwebs out of his mind as he eventually got back up on his feet, looking around to see Grace up ontop of the turnbuckle looking down at him with a smirk.

"Y-you....how DARE you" he hissed at her.

Grace wasn't nearly as idle as she seemed to be in that moment. She was catching her breath and playing to the crowd, sure, but she was also preparing for her next high risk maneuver. Her legs tensed subtly as she braced her booted feet against the middle ropes, where they connected to either side of the ring post, ready to spring when the time came. 

Almost the instant Daisuke finished speaking, Grace launched herself through the air towards him, leaping from her spot on the turnbuckle and extending her limbs, trying to angle her body so that she slammed into Daisuke with a flying cross body block!

The prince slowly rose back back up on his feet. He was visibly frustrated with the crowd and his opponent who were constantly on his back and cheering for Grace. He stood outside, staring at Grace who was sitting on the top turnbuckle clearly planning something. When she suddenly leaped up off the turnbuckle, the prince's eyes grew wide as she twisted at an angle and threw herself at him in a cross body formation.

Daisuke braced himself, bringing his arms up and aimed to catch the flying brunette in his arms! She fell right in his arms and he caught her, her chest against his. Daisuke let out a grunt as he then began to sprint forward, looking to run at the outside steel post and look to smack Grace's back against the outside turnbuckles post!

The trouble with a high risk style was obvious. Every so often the 'risk' part of the equation reared it's ugly head.
It was easy to forget about. Grace Allen was highly athletic and loved moves that let her fly through the air. In those brief moments she felt invincible, unstoppable.

And then, Daisuke caught her in mid-air and reality came crashing in, along with the sudden loss of breath and fierce lance of pain when the Wrestling Prince slammed her back into the steel post!

"Ahhhh!!" She screamed, flailing her arm at the side of Daisukes head, trying to catch him with her elbow or forearm as her legs kicked wildly. Grace was in trouble, and she knew it, desperately trying to escape her opponents clutches before he did more damage!

Perhaps if he was a bit shaken up or if he hadn't caught her on the top of the turnbuckle with his eye, she would have nailed him with that cross body from the top rope. However, once he saw her up top- the prince expected her to go for a high flying move.

Daisuke managed to catch her in his arms, with her horizontally in his arms against his chest, he rushed forward and rammed her back against the outside post to make her scream in pain. Her elbow struck back against his side, making the prince grunt but that only enraged him as he dropped down forward and slammed her down on the outside ring floor in a body slam

*THUD*

"Hmph, you're not so tough..." he mocked before grabbing her by the hair to pull her up on her feet and roll her back inside the ring from under the bottom rope. He followed suit and got in, quickly hooking her leg up and going for the pin.
