GASTER did strongly underestimate Sonic's speed. Within the next moment, she managed to land a quick legdrop across her chest and was now climbing the top rope for a high-risk manuever.

Seizing the opprotunity, the Shadow Overlord would simply roll out of the way of the kick to try and get to her feet before Sonic would attempt anything.

Sonic's heroic kick was mere inches from hitting it's mark but those few missing centimeters made all the difference. Sonic didn't have a backup plan for if her kick didn't reach her mark. This culminated with Sonic's leg colliding with the mat and her body following as she crashed into the mat at full force letting out a weak wimper.

"Ukyuuuu..." she groaned.

"That...that could've hurt. A lot...", Clara thought, her roll away successful.

GASTER wasted little time going after the recovering heroine. She would drag Sonic by her head to her knees, before putting the head under her arm and driving it into the mat with a Snap DDT. She would pin Sonic, going for the first pinfall attempt of the match.

Sonic's face impacted hard against the mat prompting a short, pained "Ukyaa!" from the Super Sonic Heroine. Sonic's leg was hooked and the ref began her count once more.

"One!"
"Two!"

"Kyuuuu!" Sonic shouted as she proceeded to kick out of the pin by violently thrashing about, if she was quick enough she would attempt to roll backwards to gain so distance whilst posing to maintain her morale.

Managing to kick out at 2, GASTER would stand away from Sonic. Looking at her through the mask, she would attempt to taunt the heroine:

"You are fast, Cat of the Blue Hedgehog, but you poses and speed won't be enough to defeat me!".

She would then rush at Sonic to attempt to grab her wrist in order to launch her at the ropes in an Irish Whip

GASTER had managed to close the distance between the two wrestlers in a rather short amount of time quickly grabbing her wrists and irish whipping her into the ropes with comparable speed to Sonic.

Sonic however was going to take advantage of this! On the rebound Sonic would leap within milliseconds of contact with GASTER attempting to nail her in the chest with flying knee!

"Sonic Shooter!"

GASTER was planning to plant Sonic back first into the mat with a scoop powerslam, hoping that the momentum from the run would help her with that.

The irish whip would be Shadow Lord's undoing, as Sonic jumped into the air and managed to land a powerful knee to her chest, the hit causing her to fall into a seated position

Sonic kept the momentum going, as long as she was constantly moving she could take on any challenger! "Feel the sting of cosmic justice! Ukyuu~!" Sonic shouted before running full speed at GASTER's back leaping moments before collision and performing a front flip crashing her heel down on GASTER's head!

"SONIC SLASH!"

Still holding her modest chest from the earlier hit, GASTER would attempt to get up before hearing Sonic's boast.

"Oh, well, I'd like to see you tr-----OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW", she said, as Sonic's heel came crashing on her head. THe shadow overlord fell fully to her back, holding her head from the heel kick.

Sonic was puzzled, wasn't GASTER a fiend from the Shadow Dimension? A single Sonic Slash couldn't have gotten that much of a reaction out of an archfiend or daemoness! Sonic cautiously began to circle her opponent not releasing her stance.

Sonic would narrow her eyes and go for broke, bouncing off the ropes one more time Sonic would leap into the air and attempt a running shooting star press!

"Ukyuuuu~! Sonic Star Press!"

If sonic succeeded she would immediately go for a pin!
